if is a super nice color scheme! I have to make another video on this car sometime in the future, it had a bunch of really nice bolt on performance modifications installed, and it just handles like an entirely different!
@@JapaneseMinitruck I live in Portland. Moved here about 3 years ago. Have a G37 but it’s bone stock, definitely looking into getting a project soon. I do always see your purple truck around, I’ll stop over and say hi next time I see it.
I dont know much about type r's but I have a 10th gen si and BOV arent the best. The recirculation of the air cannot be compensated by ur ECU so you will have a bad fuel:air ratio. If u put a BOV, ur engine will not explode on startup but u will most likely see faster wear and tear on the long term. IMO, the sound isnt worth the risk of damaging ur engine. If uwant the woosh sound just get a short ram or cai
*Japanese Minitruck* The TypeR has 320 hp from the factory and not 306 hp.... I'm also very surprised that you're buying the cheap version.... without radar, the windows aren't tinted, etc. ... even if the *GT* version has a little tick is heavier, it makes more sense to buy it, there is much better equipment
The US comes with a detuned version to run on 91 octane fuel. European and Japanese FK8s make around 10 hp more than the US version, unless 93 octane fuel is used (octane values used according to US units, not to be confused with RON values used in Europe). Also the GT version was never available in the US.
Beautiful Type R. I love the color pattern. Gray exterior with red interior pops. And those white Volk wheels are perfect for the car.

The combo of the car and scenery were perfect!
Could I ask what rims are those with exact ET numbers etc etc ?
Just about to be buying an FK8 and these rims look damn sexy
All I know about them as what I said, in the video, they are Volk rays racing TE37SL 18s, but I do agree these wheels look amazing!!
I’ve heard BOV aren’t good for the engine in these, how true is this?
I unfortunately don't have a good answer for this, it's a friends car

The owner bought it used like a year old for way cheaper than a brand new one would've costed, so we didn't choose the options. It's just how it came.
