I don’t remember how I discovered Undertale but it took me until June to finally play the game, mostly because I kept putting it off, forgetting about it, etc.
I remember sitting at the library with my best friend playing this game we both did pacifist, sadly he has moved away and he was not allowed a phone and we will never get in contact again. But in those summer days sitting on the library computer it filled me with...determination.
Though it does make me nostalgic about last school year ( I count school years as years, I'm weird) when I was obsessed with Undertale, I would listen to this all the time.
I can’t believe I still have my childhood dream of going to mount ebbot and meeting everyone. This music makes me want to walk through snowdin, feeling the cold, maybe a slight breeze somehow. However, I know that it would never be real.
From now on, I will always associate this song with snow, adorable dogs, and two hilarious skeletons. All of the things that I love. Also, I never realized just how sweet and soothing this tune sounds, since most of the time in the game I was laughing at Papyrus, Sans and the dogs. It sounds like something from a Studio Ghibli movie.

4 years ago my mother passed away from cancer. She had 4 sons and I was her youngest. None of us had any children when she passed away. My father had 5 grandchildren and a couple weeks before she died she told my father that she wished she had grandchildren to care for before she dies. She was a mother for most of her life since she was 21 years old. 2 years ago, I had my first child. A beautiful girl named after my mother. I see her having a really close relationship with her maternal grandmother. Every time I see them together, I am happy for both my daughter and the close bond she has with her grandmother. But I just can't help but feel broken about the relationship she will never have with my mother. I think about how happy my mother would have been to care for her and immense joy both of them would have shared. Those feelings and that loss are just beautifully encapsulated by this theme. I imagine them playing together in the playground or her holding her with the love she held me with when I was a child. You do have a grandchild mother. And she would have adored you. Rest in peace.

Everything is so stagnant, and they know it to. Among the the seemingly cheerful town, the villagers give a feeling of wanting to escape from it. They want to give up, but they pretend not to by repeating the same routines day after day... Making sculptures with the snow, reading a newspaper that reports the same story everyday, and relying on the wit of the journalist to produce new crosswords to prevent total cognitive madness. The only residents who hold it together are a couple of skeletons who are at their wit's end trying to keep everyone from fading away, and a Royal guard fishlady who is willing to murder you to make the madness end.
This song is what introduced me into the game. I was watching a friend's stream one night, and they were playing this game. Now, for whatever reason, I wasn't really paying much attention, but the one thing that stuck out to me was this song. I quickly forgot about the game itself (until a friend reintroduced me, I love Undertale now), but I never quite forgot this song. It was simply amazing. Anyway, that's enough rambling from me tonight.

It's only been a few years since Undertale came out, but such a beautiful tune... I almost want to cry, even though I shouldn't be feeling nostalgic, since like I said, it's only been a few years, heh.
This music makes me feel so much nostalgia, in sixth grade, I remember a friend who would talk about undertale all the time to me. She moved a few seats away from me to sit by another friend and talk to them. A couple years passed and on a summer day in eighth grade, I saw her again. She didn’t remember me, but I remembered her and we became friends again. I grew very attached to her over the summer. But when school started, I began to hangout with her less. We still talked and played together occasionally. Then, around Christmas, she moved away. I tried to talk to her when I could. One time, I called her and she had made new friends. She wanted to get off call and promised to call again. She never did. We talked less and less. One night, I was crying and I just wanted to talk to her. I though she was one of my close friends. I explained how much I missed her and sent out the message. I assumed she wouldn’t answer, since it was very late at night. I went to bed and by the next day I didn’t get a response. I waited. And waited. I kept seeing her online. To this day, she never responded, it’s been a few months and I’m going into high school soon. Oh how much we have grown. I just wish I talked to her more, appreciated her more. I don’t know why she forgot about me. I miss her. It’s just like what happened when I was young. They move on. They find new people. They forget about you. That doesn’t mean you can forget about them though. We shouldn’t forget, but move on. I’m still stuck in that summer. I just hope I’ll move on eventually.

This is coming form a big audio enthusiast, and listening to this on my high end setup, I do like how the actual piano keys are slightly veiled behind the snowy wind soundscape. The string instruments cut through that veil, bringing a very cool contrast between the instrumentation.
Imagine sitting outside while a light snowfall, there are Christmas decorations surrounding you while the cold slightly nip your nose and your drinking a warm cup of tea (of course it’s a Christmas tea) listening to Undertale Snowy OST. It is so magical Merry Christmas everyone!

This song is what introduced me into the game.
I was watching a friend's stream one night, and they were playing this game.
Now, for whatever reason, I wasn't really paying much attention, but the one thing that stuck out to me was this song.
I quickly forgot about the game itself (until a friend reintroduced me, I love Undertale now), but I never quite forgot this song.
It was simply amazing.
Anyway, that's enough rambling from me tonight.
If I play this song over and over enough times will it snow again where I live?

The perfect music to listen to when it's snowing outside. Like it is right now where I am.
This music makes me feel so much nostalgia, in sixth grade, I remember a friend who would talk about undertale all the time to me. She moved a few seats away from me to sit by another friend and talk to them. A couple years passed and on a summer day in eighth grade, I saw her again. She didn’t remember me, but I remembered her and we became friends again. I grew very attached to her over the summer. But when school started, I began to hangout with her less. We still talked and played together occasionally. Then, around Christmas, she moved away. I tried to talk to her when I could. One time, I called her and she had made new friends. She wanted to get off call and promised to call again. She never did. We talked less and less. One night, I was crying and I just wanted to talk to her. I though she was one of my close friends. I explained how much I missed her and sent out the message. I assumed she wouldn’t answer, since it was very late at night. I went to bed and by the next day I didn’t get a response. I waited. And waited. I kept seeing her online. To this day, she never responded, it’s been a few months and I’m going into high school soon. Oh how much we have grown. I just wish I talked to her more, appreciated her more. I don’t know why she forgot about me. I miss her. It’s just like what happened when I was young. They move on. They find new people. They forget about you. That doesn’t mean you can forget about them though. We shouldn’t forget, but move on. I’m still stuck in that summer. I just hope I’ll move on eventually.

This is coming form a big audio enthusiast, and listening to this on my high end setup, I do like how the actual piano keys are slightly veiled behind the snowy wind soundscape. The string instruments cut through that veil, bringing a very cool contrast between the instrumentation.
Imagine sitting outside while a light snowfall, there are Christmas decorations surrounding you while the cold slightly nip your nose and your drinking a warm cup of tea (of course it’s a Christmas tea) listening to Undertale Snowy OST. It is so magical Merry Christmas everyone!
