    Great car, great Driver, great Review. Its for sure one of the best GP replicas. A have to wait a bit and see, what else comes up, than I will make a decision...

      One day, someone will make a really good one (not you GPR!)

    Excellent review of a special car!
    I loved the first part, that every model is a special one in its own way.
    I personally have a Ralf Schumacher Williams of his first win in Imola 2001 because that's one of the first races I remember watching and that makes it special for me!
    It's what is so special to collectors!
    Great overall model but I can't get myself to acquire a GP Replicas model because they are hit or miss most of the time.
    Definitely want a classic Ferrari of Lauda but I'm not sure yet.

      I actually think their Lauda models are pretty nice, like the 1975 version is actually better than this one I think.

    I'm not a GP replicas fan, the car shapes usually seem a little off to me. Though this model is better than expected. I also find them a little too expensive. I'm hoping that minichamps or sparks are able to make a version of the 82 Belgian GP. However, I think only GP replicas, BBR and looksmart have the Ferrari license. I think I will wait until a better version is released. Excellent review, best f1 die cast reviews on the internet.

      Thanks! All GP Replicas models are a bit off, I think it's the company's motto!

    Thanks for yet another great video! I enjoyed the history background as well as the model review. I actually watched the video twice. I have the GP Replicas 126CK model, but I do like what I see here and may probably go ahead and buy this one, especially it's Gilles' last ride... The thing that bothers me with this model though is the figurine. The face looks pretty horrible...

      @rps_reviews  3 месяца назад

      The figurine is indeed a bit of a letdown. To be fair, Spark's classic figurines with visible faces aren't too good either.

    Great review and I've one of the earlier releases with no driver figure. This model is so much better so it looks like GP Replicas are upping their game. At the prices they charge this should be expected. I have the San Marino 1/12 scale on order and can't wait to receive it in the near future. Its such a great looking car and in 1/12 it'll be awesome. I just hope the flaws aren't more noticeable in the bigger scale. Also, I'm expecting more detail than the 1/18. I really don't like the driver's face in their models. It's almost toy figure like and as you say, no where near as good as Exoto. I have the Mansell Exoto Ferrari and his face looks like its been taken from a real photo of Mansell and stuck on to the figurine. It is a work of art. Anyway, great review and I keep looking forward to seeing everything you do. I love the tire markings you add and it would be great if you could do a video on this in future. Thanks...

      Thanks! GP Replicas is not my favourite brand to say the least, but you can't deny there is some improvement in their developement. The figurine is no where as close to the Exoto ones, but to be fair, no one has made figurines the likes of those. Even Spark's classic figurines with visible faces aren't great either...
      I did make a segment in the Coulthard Red Bull RB1 video on the tyre markings, you can check it out there. I will probably make a separate video on that though, as I get that question a lot.

    Great video. Totally agree with everything you've said. I have the earlier release Long Beach GP version in 1/18 and on that version the rear tyres are too wide with too much of a bulge like a 1970's tyre. Also the Goodyear markings are far too big. Your version is much better in this regard. In addition, I agree, the front wheels are too small on all 1/18 GP Replicas models for the C2. Not sure why this is so difficult for model manufacturers to get it right. The front wheel on the 1/12 version looks right, but then they messed up the rear wheels! They are improving, especially compared to really poor earlier releases like the 1985 Ferrari 156/85 however.

      Thanks! I believe GPR's earlier 126c2 had the correct front tyres, but the rears were aweful. It looks like they put on smaller front tyres on the newer releases. I wonder how they keep on getting proportions so wrong. It's like Stevie Wonder does their research!

    Funny thing is, Panini/IXO have made a cheap magazine version in 1/24 scale and the proportions are virtually perfect, at least better than BBR and GP Replicas

      Indeed, even the Brumm 1/43 models are better than BBR or GPR

    Thank you for the review! But how did you make rolling wheels?

    • @rps_reviews
      @rps_reviews  26 дней назад

      @@elplan5296 You can actually rotate the wheels by using force but being very careful at the same time.

      @GreatChampionsTinyCars "Being very careful". That's the only thing which don't let me doing this 😬

    These models are way too expensive for me especially considering that it's resing and no rolling wheels.
    I wish Bburago would start doing more classic F1 models. I find great value in their new F1 models

      @@CaptHotah Great news for you then Model Car Group is going to come with a 1/18 version of this same car! Their models usually are great value for money, so something to look forward to.

      @@rps_reviews i had the 312 from MCG and was a bit disappointed with the quality. It was below bburago. Maybe this one will be better.
