Mallards mating! Must be spring!

This pair of Mallards is foraging in a pond for awhile and then there is a little morning nookie. Seems a bit early in the year for mating but they have been known to start in March. See clip shortly following 05:20.
You will also hear a good number of Blue Jays calling in the background. They usually get uppity when there is a raptor or owl around, but unfortunately I was not able to see what they were complaining about.
