    To improve this method, place all pots over a peg board, which is placed over a tub or reservoir of some type. Put the pump in there. The water will be recycled which saves the pump from drying out while you are gone. In this way, you keep plants watered for longer without pump failure even though its on a timer. To keep the water from evaporating too much, you put weed fabric between the peg board and reservoir so on hot days, the water won't evaporate as fast. I built one of those in 2008 during a bad drought, and kept my garden alive while everyone else didn't have one. Even on days I could not water, I had water already in the reservoir so I could keep my plants watered and hydrated. I was smart doing that. My neighbors were not happy with me after that. Some reported me for using water when I wasn't supposed to, and they came and looked, and told my neighbors I was in compliance with the restrictions. Oh they were plenty mad. I will teach others how to do this same thing. That way, they too can grow their own food.

      The Only Problem that i can say with this system is if it could control the TimePeriod of Water flow, with the suggested Adapter it has to be minimum 1 mins, if there were any available in seconds, it would be even better

      For that we need to use different timer which migh be very difficult to set up, if 1 minute is more for you, then you can use less power water pump

      Yes sure, set the program for daily On/Off, it can run for years.... It depends upon how you use set the program

    I had the same idea in mind. I already purchased the timer .
    Thanks for making the video.
    I have one question.. how many litres is used with this pump you used... If we run the timer for one minute for 4 days?

    • @DIYBuddy
      @DIYBuddy  7 месяцев назад

      It depends on pump, with 18w pump around 5 litre water is being discharge in 1 minute

      Timer jo maine use kiya tha usme minimum 1 min ka time rakh sakte the, apko aisa timer dhundana padega jisme seconds me time set kar sakte hai
