Totally agree Tim and Fin. I took my 3 teens on a father-daughter trip thru Vietnam from north to south 2 years ago. We visited both Halong and Tam Coc. Definitely found Tam Coc to be much more enjoyable. Love your videos. Keep it up. Glad I found your videos.
This is one of the few videos that I watched that I was tired time you got to the top but a great video but now I got to wait a whole week for you come out with another and every one of your videos are good quality videos I used to shoot videos years so I know what you go through in production and so forth keep up the good job guys
I am so glad you guys are back in Vietnam. Another spot that is better than Halong Bay is Ninh Binh. That is my Dad’s birthplace, and we are planning to visit Ninh Binh next year.
wow the natural scenery is so beautiful .Please come to the cave PHONG NHA KE BANG. QUANG BINH province Vietnam. There are many most beautiful caves in the world. 👍👍💖💖👏👏
LOVE your videos!! Well produced!! Just got back from Vietnam Sunday. Was there 3 weeks (Saigon, Nhan Trang, Da Nang) Should make a digital download guide of your routes & stops & hotels we should stay at. I’d totally purchase! I saw your videos and inspired me to take a trip next year for my sons 16th birthday and we are renting bikes and doing this northern loop. Super excited!!
I know what you mean about riding scooter in Vietnam, I feel so free. And hey Fin, you 're truly Vietnamese now with the helmet with the cut in the back of the helmet for your pony tail, how much more Vietnamese can you get :-) Hang Mua looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing more of your VN videos.
I'm so jealous that you guys are having too much fun! Every place in Vietnam has a unique beauty of its own. You guys got to check out my home town in Vietnam. Kien Giang is almost the very southern part of Vietnam. It's so beautiful they even wrote a song for it. There is Phu Quoc and other beautiful islands close by Kien Giang that you should also check them check. KIÊN GIANG MÌNH ĐẸP LẮM is the song. Thanks for another cool video TIM and FIN! Stay fun and safe journey!
It is informative video, I have been to Tam Coc 3 times and really want to comeback because it is very beautiful place. From Tam Coc it is very easy to go to Cat Ba island with bus or limosine car. From Cat Ba island you can visit Lan Ha bay and the less touristic of Ha Long bay. it is worth to do that. We hope you will be back to Vietnam, especial to visit Lan Ha bay and Ha Long bay.
heyy thank u for being here and for that excesive documentation . I am in the proces of putting a itinerary for my upcoming trip to vietnam together - coming from BKK - trough siem reap to saigon to start with - not a big fan of megalopolies - was wondering about some roundtrips from the city - mekong delta , or anything interesting close by? within a couple of hours on motorbike - considered as a day trip ... so many questions - damn . cheers from Europe - have been watching ur vids the whole evening - to make some planning / conceptualy - anyway thanks alot
I lived in the Philippines for awhile as a kid - my mom brought back one of those hats to the USA and would wear it all the time. I was mortified! Those stairs & hike - WOW and your drone footage was over the top!! Awww so sorry there is trash 😖
You can either take bus or ride bike yourself. It is around 70 miles from Ha Noi to Ninh Binh. Bus would drop you along side of highway and you would take a private motor bike or taxi to Tam Coc (where hotels, hostels, a town of food there special famous goat dishes) you can rent a motor bikes or bycicle to go around. Trang An is a must for a boat ride to experience the beauty and tranquility of this area. There is a huge pagoda called Bai đinh. Cuc Phương- National park is on the west area. This is on my top list area for another come back.
Do you think it is possible to do both Tam Coc/Ninh Binh and a 1 night Ha Long Bat Cruise if planning to visit Hanoi and the surrounding "area" for 4 nights, or would it be too much in that time frame? Thanks Tim and Fin, beautifully shot intro, reallyed loved it and the video!
Tim and Fin!!! - I loved this episode... The drone footage and editing is awesome, but my favorite Tim comments were: 1) “I miss our Mexican donkey” 2) “Just swim up there” 3) “Mine looks like it came out of a gum ball machine”
"Forget Ha Long Bay" - You're joking but you're right ! - Ha Long, There're only islands and water. In Tam Coc (and Trang An) , "Dried Ha Long" you have everything - island, water, cave, rice field, river, mountain, many nice people, you can take tour on boat or bike, many beautiful and famous places and... good food.
00:39 TAM CỐC(not beautiful like TRÀNG AN). Should go to TRÀNG AN. 09:08 HANG MÚA(NEAR TAM CỐC, with about 500 steps to the top). Come here when the rice season ripens from May to mid-June every year.
I haven't watched your videos in a while. The video quality is a lot better than I remembered. New cameras? How come no one ever do a video of themselves riding a water buffalo?
You're right about the trash, I saw lots of it during my travel in Viet Nam too. I found that very disturbing and frustrated. The same with this issue in the States, now with COVID-19 - we have a new kind of trash: the discarded masks and the gloves on the streets, bushes and sidewalks. Trash cans are everywhere also, but people would just drop them where they stand, I hate these irresponsible and lazy people.
Dudes so about him and what he needs - Glad its been what you were waiting for. Not chill enough with your red and blue lens shades and tank tops? Ok lets get "chill" gear from 30 years ago - Khakis, gym shoes and ray bans.
Tam Coc is beautiful! One of the popular tourist destination in north Vietnam.

I am so glad you guys are back in Vietnam. Another spot that is better than Halong Bay is Ninh Binh. That is my Dad’s birthplace, and we are planning to visit Ninh Binh next year.
That’s where this is! Tam coc is the small hotel area in Ninh binh
I just realized that I hit the like button before I watched the video. I guess I've watched enough of them to know that's a safe bet.
Right on Harley 🙌👌
I totally relate to the motor bike obsession. I just drove one for the first time less than 2 weeks ago in Waigeo, and I'm dying to drive one again.
Hey guys! Glad you’re back!
So great to see you guys back in Vietnam explore- feel like you are back in your natural habitat 😊
wow the natural scenery is so beautiful .Please come to the cave PHONG NHA KE BANG. QUANG BINH province Vietnam. There are many most beautiful caves in the world. 👍👍💖💖👏👏

What month was this? Awsome video!
Video idea: Why travel is so important to both of you. Would love to hear both of your takes.
I look like to watch all your video , I hope your happy, lot of heath and continous trips travel all the world. Được Lê VietNam
I love Tim & Fin
wow Tam Coc is beautiful. But I am going to Quy Nhon next month. Tam Coc will be next time. Love Vietnan.
Yay! Beautiful but bummer about the trash!
Awesome video, Breathtaking footage!
Just wondering, how to get there from Hanoi?is there a flight or train?

Welcome to Vietnam 🇻🇳
What month did you travel to Tam Coc? Thanks
Would you recommend this hike with young kids (2 and 3.5 years old) if they were on baby carriers?
beautiful video! ;)
it's my hometown. You will see mountains everywhere unless you go to bed XD XD
I'm going there tomorrow. How does it compare to Vang Vieng in Laos, which is one of my favourite places?
Tim and Fin!!! - I loved this episode... The drone footage and editing is awesome, but my favorite Tim comments were:
1) “I miss our Mexican donkey”
2) “Just swim up there”
3) “Mine looks like it came out of a gum ball machine”
He certainly keeps my life interesting. When are we traveling together again??
Loving your Vietnam series. We’re heading there next April and using your vids for inspo. I noticed you’re using a smaller camera now. Is it a GoPro?
Using the GoPro for some shots (like Tim doing the explanation on the train) but still using our LUMIX G7 and Gh5 for cinematic shots

Hi tim and fin
Your URL in video description for TRIPPED Packing Cubes doesn't work
Thanks for letting me know! Should be fixed now.
I haven't watched your videos in a while. The video quality is a lot better than I remembered. New cameras? How come no one ever do a video of themselves riding a water buffalo?
😂😂 that should definitely be next! Thanks for the nice words... more and more practice making us better!

the garbage make me feel really sad....
Great concept, good narration, but PLEASE....Lose the elevator music......
But your NAME is Kenny G!!
Did he say he became a dad...what did I miss?
Hah he’s talking about his “dad-looking-shoes” 😂
Dudes so about him and what he needs - Glad its been what you were waiting for. Not chill enough with your red and blue lens shades and tank tops? Ok lets get "chill" gear from 30 years ago - Khakis, gym shoes and ray bans.
Not down for Vietnam I'll re subscribe when your somewhere else
Trust me I get irritated and angry when I go back to visit the motherland with how tourism has trashed the environment.
It's tough to see. Hope that things continue to improve in Vietnam. Tourism continues to grow there and the need for more infrastructure.
Dragon associates with VN,and Snake associates with China. Damn, why are they trashing beautiful place like this ?
Trash everywhere, such a shame.
I wouldn't go to Vietnam hell no im going to israel live and turkey and mexico on the boarder of iran Iraq
Not sure about the longevity of this relationship. Some subtle issues here. #1 No chin.
Again a VLOCK:
"Video locked on travelers faces"
Too MANY many MANY of them on RUclips
