I enjoyed the series thoroughly. North Vietnam is really beautiful. I had no idea about N.V. prior to this series. Thanks! Oh, and thanks for being honest presenters. It is appreciated.
Thank you guys so much. Your's are the best videos about Vietnam. And, as a biker for 35 years, confirms my choice to rent a bike in Ha Giang instead of Hanoi. You rock!
Fin cam was non stop fun and shows even whilst making life and death split second decisions Fin still has time to notice rate and compliment outfits. 😂👍
I realize that your biking through Viet Nam is meaningful to you on so many different levels but for me as an observer what stands out the most; is your courage.
Counting down to Hanoi, great news by sharing my plans on my Facebook page a friend got in touch. He has a motorcycle in Hanoi with friends that I can use for free for my trip. Fly out of Brisbane Australia on 16th February. Many thanks for you videos, makes my planning easy.
Totally understand you tearing up Fin, I felt my eyes do the same just with the beauty and emotion of (temporarily?) closing this chapter. Can’t wait for the adventures 2020 has in store for you guys. Safe and happy travels ❤️
Good on you guys for letting us all see the bones of your amazing trip & letting Fin grab the camera for the Hanoi section. Trips like this are always the ones you end up loving the most once you're out of the pressure cooker environment of constantly moving around & far from you sounding negative, that hotel bit at the end is a conversation many of us have after a hard earned but truly memorable trip. Loved it 🤙🤙
Wow! You two had me going (😢) there towards the end! I adore Vietnam, the country, cultures, people.....I sooo get where you were feeling the emotion. Thanks for capturing it all and describing it so perfectly. And special 👍 to Fin for the on bike commentary in Hanoi, that’s super impressive.....people won’t understand how physically and mentally tiring that is unless they’ve done it. Awesome work you two. Stay safe, keep living it.
Love the raw footage you guys are using. Definitely a crucial vid to watch if you’re looking to navigate thru the country of Vietnam. Didn’t realize how unorthodox the driving experience is over here. Looking forward to my motorbike adventure one day!
A year ago I was in Nepal...Kathmandu traffic was just as bad , if not worse. SO CRAZY to get around. Bad road conditions, cows in the road, people on the roads and a million scooters going in every direction....so crazy !
Nepal traffic hand down my worst nightmare especially their highway link between cities. Two lane road, one side the rock wall the other is the abyss. The feel when you go down hill and ahead is 2 big truck parallel with one of them is try to pass the other.
"Fin Cam" that was epic and you did great as a non motorcyclist commentator. I would love to get my partner out to Vietnam and do a bike trip but she also does not ride motorbikes. It is good to show her that it can be done and there are options as you guys have suggested where you can avoid riding in big City's. I Loved riding over in Vietnam though I was based more in the central part from Dong Hoi down to Quang Ngai riding around the borders. We always got a lot af attention as it was well off the tourist routes.
Can you believe a few years ago in Vietnam, Fin did not know how to ride a motorcycle? She had to learn on the trip. Have your partner watch that video and then compare it to how Fin is confident on a bike now. :)
“Let’s see do I want to go around the bus into this oncoming - oh god, OH GOD OH GOD” 😂 Fin you simultaneously gave me anxiety and cracked me up! I Really enjoyed your commentary driving! This was a fun episode. I love how gung ho Tim is! One of the reasons you are my favorite Travel Vloggers is because how real you two are, and you show how travel really is, Amazing, awe-inspiring, exhilarating, exhausting, and frustrating. Really looking forward to Korea!!!
I"m so excited to go visit My country. It been 14 years since i migrate to the US. Your videos are inspiring and so EXCITING!!!! hopefully the covid-19 will end soon and travel will resume.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! I road a motorcycle in Canada for years and now ride a scooter in Cozumel, Mexico BUT NOTHING COMPARES TO THAT RIDE TO/IN HANOI. Congratulations Finn for not hitting anyone! I was scared just watching you.
Many guesthouses in Nepal had pillows like that mattress at the beginning of the vid. And many bakeries also had croissants or other baked goods with similar properties. They look like what you expect but the reality is far different.
hum, u have to make a third moto trip in Vn, guy,s u fortget the dinosaur ' s spine, Ta xua ^^. i follow u .... last year, i did saigon to hanoi , this one, i will the north as u, with out sapa, i add halong bay for climbing and ta xua . your videos are perfect, the good mix between vlog & report, the quality of editing ^^
It is very emotional to watch this video. What a beautiful trip that you guys had. And the ending is even more tremendous. Vietnam and Korea share almost the same history and Vietnam has come to unified 45 years ago, and I hope Korea in the future will be the same, no north and south but one Korea just like Vietnam did. Hope it is also the message that you guys are sharing, if not, still coincidencely beautiful. Thanks Fin and Tim, hope you guys best of luck, come back to Vietnam if you can, love from Central 'Nam ❤️🥳
Awesome videos. Watching your show make me want to bring my bike there and ride. But my bikes is too heavy for some of the road there. I will visit Vietnam after this coronavirus gone. Thanks Tim and Fin.
Thanks for the video trip, it's fun to watch you two fell like I'm riding and traveling with you, but I'm in my bed with 10 inches of snowing outside in Park City Utah...Thanks have fun and enjoy it ..🙏🏻❤️👍🏻😉
Vietnam is beautiful 🥰 I have some few travel blogs suscribed, today I discovered two: yours ans some Poles ( niesezonowi ), which make me feel jelaous 😊 keep working and greetings from Sweden 😎
Thanks for the episodes folks. Hopefully there are more trips to come. We watched your stuff before we came here and found it very helpful with planning. Did our own small two day trip around Phu Quoc. Traffic looks manic but the system or lack of it just works because it has to.
@@timandfin Still plenty of garbage lying around. South is terrible along the road sides. North seems better but has way less development going on. Great video as always ! TIM: I love this... love motorbikes... this is fun! FIN: SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! LOL Thank you guys for a super amazing adventure ! Love from Texas
Hi Tim&find enjoyed your videos! I'm supposed to be leaving February 6th for Vietnam and planned on doing that same loop! I'm getting nervous about the coronavirus and thinking about canceling the whole trip what do you think I should do?
Wonderful video, but were Tim and Finn talk about pace it is important to have riders of similar skill and pace for sanity. I ride here in Vietnam and I will get frustrated with slower riders, but also folks should rent a phone mount too to keep a heads up display for maps and alerts plus less chance of dropping your phone too. But Finn, keep your head up and keep riding! That's the only way to improve on 2 wheels and then you can feel more confident and have better stamina. I am planning on an 8-9 day drive around the south of Vietnam for Tet (Lunar New Year) 2020
After this scare. I’m coming to nam. Rent a scooter. And go travel in nam for 3 weeks. After my wife passed away a couple years ago. I’ve been wanting to do something like this .
ThAnk you for sharing your journey and experiences with us. My questions for you both are: what did you learn about yourself and each other? And lastly, how does this trip personify your life as entrepreneur and adventure enthusiasts?
The female voice over version of a Robin Williams non stop talking and yet intelligible and hilariously funny and entertaining Fin 2 thumbs up for that performance👍👍
I feel sorry for Fin but good metaphor of relationship dynamics. The good thing is that if Fin could drive in those conditions, she can now drive anywhere. Hopefully marriage is stronger too :)
You need to use your horn more. Its your voice in a hectic environment. So many people count on you using it at the right time. Awesome vid, thanks for sharing.
You guys are awesome. But those beds. Good grief. Safe to say there was no hanky panky going on there lmao. Thank you guys as always. Love the adventures you take us on with you. So whats next??
I've accumulated a fair number of hours of seat time in my years on motors, but geez guys, that was difficult to watch. Let me add that Fin has developed some real skill on two wheels.
Vietnamese riders will often use their phone and ride at the same time here. It's so annoying, I pull over if I need to use my phone in Saigon and I have mine in a phone mount as well.

I woukd love to do the ride from south to north at some tine, do you think I could do it on my Harley? Cheers again and safe travells.
It would be doable on the Harley but you would certainly stand out as most everything is a scooter or small bike. But at least There aren’t too many sections of unpaved road between Hanoi and Saigon.
When you are filming yourself talking on the motorbike and the camera is pointed at your face, what are you doing with the camera? Do you have it attached to the handlebars, or are you holding it out on a stick or some sort?
Those shots of Tim show the fact that sometimes two gopros are recording.... he was rolling the one strapped to his chest, but vlogging with the gopro + microphone on the stick. haha lots of trial and error getting this all to work lol
@@timandfin I thoughts that might have been the case! I've got the gopro on the chest now for when I ride, but not super confident about riding with the stick out lol. You guys are probably going a bit slower though on the roads out in the country there.
