The 3 in 1 instant café is really delicious!! And so handy! Just add warm water and stir. Bonus if you have milk, if not it's still yummy.

Sometimes money is worth so little and time is worth so much. Loved it!

The place we stayed at in phong nha had a gorgeous view but, also had bed bugs. We found out at 11:30 at night. It was so small of a hotel with 4 rooms and far from the town that it was too late to do anything about it. There were no free rooms. 🙁Officially our worst experience, I was so happy to not bring them home or to the next hotel. You live and learn, check the bed always. Before it’s too late.

It's always good to hear some of the logistics! We are headed there next year! I know most people rent motor bikes, bicycles, or hire a driver to get you places. Have you come across anywhere that rents a car? We have 3 kids, so we'll have to get creative with transportation.

That would be a pretty unusual option for this area but not impossible. Looking in to a private car might be a more comfortable option (the roads are very very very different especially the fact that there are about 80% motorbike to car ratio!)

Your scenery videos look great on 30" monitor. I've been to Vietnam but not on vacation and I don't remember it looking so nice. Do you have a problem with getting your drone by inspection checks?

Luckily we did not - we've heard people currently having trouble at the Da Nang airport (likely due to the new "hand" statue that is so popular there right now!)

That hard bed in the future 🙄 we had a hotel room in Mexico once where the mattress was actually a box spring. Talk about bad sleep! 😂 I’m with you on the cave thing Fin...

That was a huge backpack! Did they charge you extra?
Why can't they have the planes dock next to the terminal in Hanoi?

That large bagged went in to checked luggage. -- and not sure about busing out to the plane - that's more common in several countries outside the US including Europe!
