There used to be a Christian ska band called "Daystar" out of SBU in Bolivar Missouri. They were absolutely incredible. I saw them live at a little coffee shop.
These dudes are mad good . I seen them back back back in the early 90s at a church my friends parents went to . I’m into all types of music . Metal , hip hop, punk , these dudes are the real deal . Their message just happens to be Christian . I dig it .
This was my very first CD. I got it in the late 90s around when chase the sun came out. I've still got it in my basement somewhere. Just listened to the labelled podcast episode "saved by ska" that chronicles their rise and fall and i loved it. They were my favorite band for years. It's safe to say i'll be revisiting their catalogue!
christian music in the 90s was at its best. Some of the christian music now doesnt sound that good. Like it all sounds the same. Some of its good- sometimes.

Christian Ska simply the best music, this is the music we need today.
Stanley Lacayo totally agreed, alot of mainstream christian music has reached a lull, it just all the sounds the same.
+Perrin Aybara +Stanley Lacayo You guys hit the nail on the head.
Have you seen their video 'Old Friend'?

who found this during the 2020 quarantine?
I spent every wednesday night with the singer for quite some time. Do you know the Dingies? Matt Gonzales took over for Matt Morginsky...

You know there are the Ws and Five Iron frenzy that do ska too! Gotta love it!
There's just something about ska and zoot suits that just magically fit together. Bosstones pulled it off well, too.
