1:36 has got to be one the sickest drops of all time. Sixteen years later and I still get feeling like I'm listening to it on cassette for the first time.
I lost my sister two years ago today! She loved Supertones her favorite was welcome home... I had to listen to them this morning in honor of her .. I'll always love them too ..❤❤
This brings me back to my childhood, discovering great music. My dad was a big fan and passed that onto me. Now I’m almost 40 and came back to rock out. Supertones Strike Back!
Saw the OC Supertones open for Audio Adrenaline way back in the mid 90s in this giant covered rodeo barn venue in Texas. In the middle of the concert this huge storm moved through, so the bands just started playing louder. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
Dustin Anglin I remember seeing them open for audio a as well back in the ninties but i was in jax fl. But i agree. One of the best concerts ive been too.
I also saw them open for audio adrenaline in the '90's but this was in Chicago, Illinois. I'll NEVER forget this show!! I was around 12 years old and I still love them just as much today as I did then.
My 7th grade W.W.J.D. bracelet wearing self is so happy to revisit this! Praise God for awesome Christian music! The world could use more of this soul affirming goodness. Thanks, Supertones!
I am an atheist and I love the Supertones, One of the best sounds I have ever heard in music, christians know how to do ska, Five Iron Frenzy is my fave ska band and they to are christian :P
Five Iron Frenzy's song Cool Enough For You is great. Also you should check out Less Than Jake's album Losing Streak from 1996. (1992-2002 - The Golden Years for ska!
So many amazing Christian Ska bands. Another great band was BUCK (Building Up Christ's Kingdom). In fact, I once saw both bands(BUCK and OC Supertones) at the same concert.
Google Ska Lives, there are two new double albums out with several artists like the Supertones, the Insyders, and a bunch of newer bands! Ska is still alive and kicking!
Ska is not dead, it was never dead. Its a a music that has been around since the 60's-If you like ska than you like ska. Fuck what the mainstream says is in or out, means shit. Ska has been here and it will always be around.
Why are the comments so old!?!? These guys are a gift from God! Rocking out at 630 am Sunday morning🎉😂❤
Nah fr❤❤❤

Don't forget The W's
Given all the shout-outs to "Jah" in traditional Jamaican ska, Christianity seems like an apt topic for ska anyway. I don't believe either.
You'd get a kick out of Reel Big Fish
Five Iron Frenzy's song Cool Enough For You is great. Also you should check out Less Than Jake's album Losing Streak from 1996. (1992-2002 - The Golden Years for ska!

Ska isn't dead. It just moved to Japan. (Check out midnightPumpkin and Gollbetty.)
there was a video in the suggestions awhile back it was a metal band playing in a barn. any ideas what the group is called?
tough as john jacobs?
They still together? Are great!!
They had their final show on June 3 2017, the 20th anniversary of this album.
Mighty Mighty Bosstones vs Supertones? Who would win in a rock out. lol I love Mighty Mighty Bosstones, but Supertones rock out louder and better
That Metallica opening though.
I remember seeing the Supertones right before they got big..partly cause the ska movement was still a bit under the radar of the main industry.
@liadrummer I agree. Haha

@yelton7 thats cause they both had bob roth? I think that's his name.
@danielgaarr ...its 4 chords...
what is that sound quality? :D
2009 youtube quality
Ska is not dead, it was never dead. Its a a music that has been around since the 60's-If you like ska than you like ska. Fuck what the mainstream says is in or out, means shit. Ska has been here and it will always be around.
