  • Probably the best inexpensive and easy-to-build accessory for any small workshop. This makes using a CNC a breeze! Best of all, you can build this with very basic hand tools if you do not have a CNC.

Awesome. If you add a track on the back side let me know how you attach it. I was thinking you could add a light underneath the track also to add light on the table. Just some ideas I’m thinking about doing.

Good idea to add a light underneath the track Michael! Have not thought of that. Something else I want to do is have the vacuum hose on the back so you can better see what's going on while its running.

I just use 2 tarp straps to hold up the vacuum hose, attached to 2 eye bolts in the ceiling. Easy peasy.

Thanks for the reply mate! I have done something similar but just did not like the look of it. So many ways to go about it and in the end, you go with what works for you hey!? 👍

Thanks very much and you are welcome! It was way more elaborate to start with, but keeping it simple is usually better I reckon.

You are welcome! Since I made this one I have upgraded my dust extraction system so I will do another similar one soon for a 4" hose. 😁

@@TwinSummitDesignsWould be grateful to see the upgrade! My hose will be 2.5”.. is it much improved now? 😁 Any chance you’ll be posting in the coming weeks? 🤙🏼

I am just waiting on the new dust boot to arrive then I will get on it. Let me know if you have anything in particular in mind for what you want to do, but I will include something for a 2.5" hose as well. @@BikiniStrings

@@TwinSummitDesignsLegend! Nothing in particular on my mind, just something relatively straightforward to build, I’ll probably use this video as an initial blueprint until your next one is out. 😁Cheers bud

Very cool, thanks for the plans! Just one question what size hose will it fit mine is 2.5 shop vac hose wondering if it'll work or will i have to modify

Hey Brian! You are welcome. This was for a shop vac specifically, so around 36mm/1.4" from memory. Easy enough to just make that larger to work for you though. Sorry I cant upload another file at the moment. My entire shop flooded two weeks ago (6 feet deep!) and I am in the process of replacing and repairing everything. Hopefully I will be up and running again shortly.

Oh man, sorry to hear bout the flooding. Hopefully, it all works out for you. Best wishes and no worries, you laid the groundwork. im very new to cnc, but I have to figure out how to use this Dang software sooner or later, but I might as well be now, lol.
