I know Zack is a complete idiot, but he's actually a nice guy compared to some of Penny's other boyfriends on the show. I mean he never tried to beat them up for calling him stupid or steal their pants. He even went dressed as superman to costume party to help them win a contest and when Sheldon was lonely because the guys abandoned him to hang at Raj's place Zack came over with Stuart and Kripke to be his new friends. I hope we get to see Zack again in future episode he's adorable.
Also notice that he tried to invite the guys to the party even though he didn't really understand what the heck they were doing. If only all the jocks acted like Zack

I like Zack. He was really sweet and kind-hearted, and he was funny. The actor who played him did a great job and definitely contributed to the humor on the show. I especially liked his genuine admiration for Leonard and the guys, and he forgave them when they went too far with their jokes, and he helped them sometimes, too. I kind of wish Zack had been more of a regular on the show.
It might be a "joke" But it is unbelievable how common this is : a couple that has almost 0 things in common but just hang around because of their chemistry in bed... Been there! T_T
Three things: 1- that Sheldon thinks Penny can do better is very endearing 2- Sheldon’s sarcasm is priceless, and, 3- the fact the Zack actually followed what Sheldon was saying despite not getting the sarcasm is in and of itself impressive!
I love how penny developed. She went from being in her own apartment and still acting like a college girl, hosting her own parties and barely cleaning up, to just going to work all the time, trying to get her dream career up and running and even finally committing to a man.
