A lot of the time people mention how Fami is always smiling, which she is, and the about Haruna, but no one talks about how happy and excited Asami always is! Always smiling and having a good time and projects an aura so uplifting to make the saddest person smile. A beacon of hope for all 🤘🎤🎹🎸🥁🐺 #lovebites metal will never disappoint ❤

You're 100% right on M&M. These ladies have spent countless hours together working on their craft. Fami, defiantly belongs in this band, that young lady looks 100% made for the stage. To be that talented that young in mind blowing. Haruna killing it once again, Asami perfect as usual. These ladies are so good, they make it look super easy. I think people don't appreciate how difficult what they do is. All 5 of them are incridable.

Miyako started playing guitar 🎸 at the age of 18 and midori at the age of 20 they have been playing for only 12 to 14 years only and the are better then most guitarist that have been playing for 40 years Miyako is my favourite she plays guitar 🎸 piano🎹 electric piano keytar bass and drums she writes and composes she is a genius

"They make it look easy" Yes, these ladies are scarily good. I've seen some greats in my time, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson to name but four, and M&M are in the same band together. History in the making indeed.

Awesome review and analysis as usual ! I've always argued that M&M is the best guitar duo today and one of the best in history, and that's not hyperbole. Thanks for reinforcing the point !

    Nice one.
I love your insight/interpretation of the musicians.
I cannot wait to see them live for the first time in June. I still cannot believe that they are playing in a 350 capacity venue.
They are so under appreciated by their own management.
BTW, the posters you have on your wall, my current 3 favourite bands.

Yes, it's never redundant to do a new version of any of their songs. They work on all of these and keep improving them. As though that's even possible. I have to say, if they do this song in September, there will probably be a lot of people losing it right there. I'll be one of them. Re. your analysis:. I grew up idolizing Allman and Clapton, and Allman/Betts (RIP) and of course we all know both Downing/Tipton and Smith/Harris. There have been special projects like Vai/Satriani and a few other metal bands with great dual leads, but none in this league. You are spot on--this is historic, hall-of-fame stuff.

Great review RC. Did you notice Miyako swung her fist in the air after the fist bump. That the moment Miyako upweled her honest feeling and showed her excitement which is very rare as the ice queen

LOVEBITES - We The United lyrics:
The silent dawn has been broken
Our fate has now been decided for good
    Innocence can never be regained
Blissful ignorance turns into guilt and shame
We must first learn to give and understand
That no one is able to live alone
There is no need to be perfect
Everyone has their own problems and faults
    Everything is indispensable,
Every person is worthy and valuable
Don’t give up on your life, fight for what’s right
Live on and keep searching for answers
    We shall go forth
    Prideful, we stand united
    We can create miracles
    Always, there is a way
    SOLO: both
    Humans are greedy and selfish
Wanting attention more than the respect
Recognize the pain that others hide
Have the strength to fight even for someone else
People who’ve never made real enemies
Have never stood up for what they believe
    We shall go forth
    Prideful, we stand united
    We can create miracles
    Always, there is a way
    Always, I will be here
    Always, we will be there

During that dual solo, Miyako's attention was elsewhere at two different points while not loosing a beat with Midori. The first is when she looks back to Haruna, Fami, and Asami to be in sync with them on the head bobbing. The second time was when Midori, Miyako, Fami, and Asami were up front and Miyako was looking towards Fami as if to say "What's Up Sister!!".
Props to Haruna as well. Not skipping a beat when she looks at Asami when she and Fami join her for the unified head bob.

I think the second time that happened, Miyako was trying to make sure that Fami knew her cue to pull back off the stand, because the fist bump was coming. The ladies have more choreography going on than you think. When I see Haruna do the headbob, it totally reminds me of Ringo Starr and the Beatles.

Despite Asami repeated last two lines of the 1st verse in the 2nd one, this is possibly the best and funniest live version of this great metal anthem to the moment! And that fist bump that Miyako and Midori traditionally gave each other after their awesome soli became a legend already. Let's stay united! ✌🐺🤘

At 5:22, there is a moment when Miyako, who is a good older sister, is concerned about her cute younger sister, Fami. I'm sure it is He might be saying, "Fami, how's your first live? Are you having fun? 😏" It's also moving that Fami, who until now has lived only in the world of RUclips, has bloomed into such a big flower on the stage of such a big concert!

of course she would have the less common split headstock explorer lol , out of all of the headstocks for that guitar I like LZZY Hales Explorer with the Firebird headstock the best but hey if someone wants to give me any of them I would be happy ;)

    • @guitarzen5999
      @guitarzen5999 2 месяца назад +3

Miyako's guitar is a Futura and considered more of a prototype of the Explorer. Personally, I'm not crazy about the headstock on Lzzy's Explorer. It's like when Bonamassa put one on a Les Paul and Grohl with one on his signature 335/Trini Lopez guitar, just looks wrong to me. Plus I think they only look good reversed. Recently, I got to demo a Dave Mustaine V with the Explorer headstock and that looked great, plus it was a killer guitar overall.

great review and insight...the twin/harmonized guitars in rock/metal goes back to Wishbone Ash (at least) and the many they influenced since - none have done it with as much skill and fluency as Midori and Miyako...many of their solos or duets are woven together so seamlessly - to where if your not watching - it's hard to tell when one begins and the other ends...

Heavy metal has been subdivided over time and is now divided into more than 50 different genres. In recent years, a new genre called 'kawaii metal' has also increased due to the success of BABYMETAL. If a genre called 'happy metal' is created in the future, this song will surely be called a representative song.

There is really no difference between this one and the other one except that Famis is on bass. The choreography is exactly the same.
