@7:16 - I think LSU will be fine with their bigs. They have Sa'Myah, who was a HUGE factor (especially down-the-stretch) in LSU winning the title, returning...plus they bring-in Del Rosario (who can grow into the starting rotation, even if she doesn't begin the season starting at the 5). I concur on the sentiments with Williams. Just how Angel can play any position on the court, given her size and PG skills...I really think that Williams can grow into being a "position-less" player as well: A big combo guard that can add some post-play to her repertoire. 'preciate the video!
Samaya is good. I do think she needs to be more confident and more aggressive. Once she realize to be more confident with her shot (because it’s there) and calling for the ball, she could be unstoppable
I saw Mykala Williams play in a high school all-star game this year. She will have to grow into the college game, but she has the ability to take a game over. She is 100% as advertised.
Man, I was thinking the same thing...those four recruits, OMG, notwithstanding the big girl, they got a hell of a point guard in that recruitment class, but Williams is poised to be the national freshmen player of the year, no doubt. They got everything they need to play fast and still be able to play in the half-court when they need to slow the game down. The other 6-1 guard from right outside of Chicago will also be a monster; too, she is a prototype guard Coach Mulky has won with at Baylor; check her last championship at Baylor. Coach Mulky thinking 3-pete from what I see, and with her ability to manage minutes, she can avoid injury and go into the tournament stacked at every position. Her lineup is interchangeable at multiple positions. Reese is going to be better and stronger, and with them running and her slicing and scooping, it can get ugly fast. If Flau Jea strengthens her legs by getting back into ballet as a workout, she could be a Catlin Clark-type three-point shooter, slasher, and tremendous scorer and defensive stopper. If nothing else, they will dam for sure be the greatest show on the basketball turf. Coach Mulkey is a builder, and she is building a dynasty to put a ribbon on her fabulous career....Nice post and a good catch...Iowa missed the last sleeper on LSU, Carson...I don't know who in the hell did the scouting report but they were terrible; you go back and watch LSU games; this Carson bomber wasn't the first time she caught fire like that, and what the guy says who wrote Art of War, you don't go into the next battle with the same plan...that's how they gtt smoked...
They didn't overlook her, you can't gaurd everyone. She shot 19% from three for the season before the Iowa game. She was the star and won the game for LSU. No one has given her enough credit.
@@terrylink7207 exactly. she shot 19% so they overlooked her. they didn't think she was going to put those shot up and don't worry about everybody else. just make sure you give her the well deserved credit you think shes owed, and the universe will surely bless you.
NOTHING BUT FACTS! So strong, so skilled, so smooth. The only weakness in her game is defense and you best believe Kim gone get her all the way together on that end.
I don't think she will be a Catlin Clark, but what a pick up for LSU. But I am not sure if we will ever see another Caitlin Clark she is unstoppable and during the NC game carried Iowa.
I agree with everything you said about Mikala William, she looks fearless...But in regards to Angel I know Angel will go with the flow regardless if she is a 4 or 5. But I know for fact she did not much like playing as 5 in the last year at Maryland. Season just gone Angel played as 4 and had one of the best seasons ever..double double record holder. I think playing as a 5 may limit her game...And it must be great to have someone who is playing in the no 5 position her height or taller. La Dazhia did a tremendous Job. Although Sumayh is 6-2...or could be taller now...she may play as the 5. Did a great Job. I have not watched much of the 6.5/6 French De Rosario play, she is going get the Challenge in LSU to prove her game. The good thing about LSU next season is they can go big or small depending on the opponent. Going back to Angel She is probably one of the most dominate post players at 6.3 the College league has at the moment. Very few players her size has the ball handling and her ability to attack the rim at all angles. I think her speciality at the moment is the ruthless to get first or secondary rebounds...I mean absolute ruthless..I mean she give any big in College or even the WNBA a rebound fight lol like its war. What I would like to see Angel improve on is 3 point shots and mid range shots..but due to how the team is setup she will wont be required to take many definitely the best post in league and that includes last season. The chemistry of the team will be very important, I know Kim Mulkey did with 9 new players. This time around she has 2 players in Hailey and Aneesah come with big reputation. I know Hailey is probably the only other player in College basket ball that speaks out like Angel Reese....But that is a good thing...As they can all make each other accountable. The one thing I realised about Angel Reese she can take constructive criticism and likes the fact they speak honestly to each other. I still think Uconn and South Carolina will equally strong team in the league. Also Virginia Tech, Tenessee, Iowa, Stanford, UCLA and there will always be surprises.
That's cap .....boy lsu wasn't great cause of no damn Alexis Morrow......we was great cause of angel Reese and her DIRTYWORK!!!!!!! 34 double doubles on da season......she a workhorse
It's gonna happen; Mulky did the same thing when she built Baylor women's program top guys started coming to Baylor, allowing the boy team to build up. Winning attracts winners
@@octaviaevanceI agree y'all needed an actual point guard and I'm not hating on Hailey but everyone saying she's the replacement for Alexis is crazy she's no where near the ball handler or defender Alexis was and Hailey can be a streaky scorer at times so it will be interesting to see how it pans out 🤷🤷

Sorry but LSU was not the best team in college basketball. It was South Carolina. However you can’t have more than one slip up in the NCAA. South Carolina would have beat LSU again if they would played them.
You could be right. They slip against Iowa. They could of slipped to LSU as well. Who knows. You can't be for certain who would of won between them. I'm willing to bet no one thought Iowa would beat them either. Then they got steam rolled by LSU. Point is...that's why you play the game.
what you talking about LSU almost slipped up against Virginia Tech the Hokies just had a meltdown in like the last 5 minutes and couldn't take care of the damn ball 😂😂
The Achilles' heel of this team will be their conference. In the ACC, PAC-12, Big 10, Big East, teams routinely have games against other top-25 opponents. Iron sharpens iron, LSU will have months of conference play that never tests the team, with SC rebuilding. And with all this depth and talent, anything less than a repeat looks like a choke.
Oh i think Tenn, alabama, and SC( even the rebuild) will br ranked teams. It will be interesting once schedule is released..will.mulkey repeat last years easy start or thriw in some biggies..like Iowa, ohio state, u conn, Utah( which all starters return) .. As it looks LSU will have 5 starters and 5 plus starters on the bench..that depth will be scarey..
SC won’t rebuild, they’ll reload. The whole roster will be McDonald’s All-Americans. They’ll take a couple of months to gel, but come tournament time, they’ll be hell to deal with.
@@jordanllorens LSU is already ahead of where SC was this time last year as SC didn't get near this level of talent in the portal. LSU has padded a team that just won the championship, Van Lith wants a championship and Louisville wouldn't get her there. LSU's only weakness, if any, is perimeter shooting, they fixed that. On paper, if this team doesn't make the finals, it's a world-class choke.

So basically a 7 1/2 minute video of absolutely nothing! LSU will be a good team. There are a lot of other teams that are really really good to! I think LSU got lucky! They basically didn’t have to pay anybody in the tournament! Or during the regular season!
LSU has one good season and gets lucky in the process! And everyone thinks they’re a super team! Win five national titles, and then get back to me. Until then they have to prove it on the court!
Williams is silky smooth with it
This is interesting cause they have a team that each week somebody new takes over. Mikaylah is doing what the team needs.
Good Analysis Bro! I Say the Same & She Play Defense! Her Versatility will Win Some Games Single Handedly

I agree and she def a great player. She’s plays on another level and I’m excited for what to come for her. Freshman of the year.
