If I could travel back in time and go to any show then this would be on my bucket list. Magic
Me too
Jason was at his best as a solo artist. Fine as the musicians he played with were, I always felt they drowned him out, and the raw emotional power of the songs shines through in this presentation.
about 22 minutes in there's one of the most stripped down, genuine versions of 'leave the city' I've ever heard. thank you.

Really love this version of Farewell Transmission.
nya o me.too...the whole set is amazing too
Talk about setting the bar high for a show with that as the opener
@@TR-yi8up and still blowing the crowds socks off
I was there! And helped promote this!
I was too Chris! This is one of the few shows posted here that I was at. And at my old haunt the Southgate House! Thanks for promoting it. I got to see Jason/Songs/Magnolia a dozen times; this was among the very finest performances I was lucky to see.
I want to be friends with you!
Genius.
as i listen to farewell transmission, the amazon rainforest is burning, i can’t help but think that the human race doesn’t have much longer. this version of farewell transmission gives me peace in knowing our own doom we have made for ourselves.
Important
Cory Aquila as soon as I found out about Songs:Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co, I was starting to cover their songs... and then Jason Molina died. I’m so sad about it now because I’m realizing I was playing his songs as soon as he died, unknowingly. What a legend. I’m kinda sad that I don’t have any friends to talk to about this. Long dark blues, for me, for sure.
an interesting common interest to cross paths with you, matt... best wishes from cincinnati. ( matt anderson )
