i saw him live at a small show in Iowa City before knowing much about songs ohia or magnolia electric company. i just remember that he looked very sad. this would have been in 2007 at the mill. here is a recording from the show.

Come on now his best work?! It’s good but that comment is hugely disrespectful to some of his albums .. this is just something he put to tape at home in Chicago you can hear the traffic, he wasn’t even trying to record it properly ;/ this is not in the ballpark of his greatest work.

@@johnarundell7951 You're right, perhaps not his best, but i was so surprised and happy to find this as i thought i'd heard most of his stuff.2.00-6.00 is amazing.
One thing is for sure, even his most random work is very high quality.
My favourite album is probably "Ghost Tropic".
