Some of the best stuff I've heard in the last decade. I got into Floating Points with 'Wires', that 11 minute masterpiece. He's got another one with 'Kuiper'.
Last couple of minutes before waking up early in the morning, I let the music on all night long... this was the track that gave me one of the most crazy dreams in my life.
Started listening to this lying down on my mates bed the other day after doing one of the biggest lines of ket in my life and... *holy shit it was phenomenal*
Just listened to this through twice and it was only when rewinding it that I realised it's 18 minutes long. Think I drifted off somewhere for a fair chunk of that time
Had a bit of a moment when I saw this was removed from Spotify for some reason but then I remembered everything is on everything these days. What a track!
I just don't trust Spotify: I'd much rather have my own library that I know is there. Most Independent and upcoming bands tend to have their stuff on Bandcamp and I'm under the impression that they get paid better there than other sources (I hope it's true) so I'll buy tunes there if they're available. Once they sign to a major, well, that's their own business, their stuff usually stops turning up on Bandcamp but shows up everywhere else so I'll take it from where I find it.
I think this is like life in general, it could be dark, it could have beauty, it could feel slow, fast, large, but, in the end, it just ends. And I do not like the life, however, I love some things inside this one
a very unusually eccentric track from floating points. im REALLY loving this new direction their taking. ive loved floating points since i first heard them in 2010 and the love its only getting stronger.
the fact that no sci-fi movie has used this as the backdrop for an epic 17-minute sequence yet baffles & saddens me
Solaris (Russian version) scared them all out of the arena

This song truly carries you and unfolds a journey of indescribable depth. Like riding on a cloud through the city in the movie Fifth Element.
precisely
Loving the Pink Floyd esque change up inside the 16min mark.......Quality work!

Wow, out of this world. I cannot believe the variety of work this man puts out; this was seriously unexpected. Loved it, thank you very much.
I didnt think there was a song that could compare to the epicness of pink floyd echoes but here we are.

The version live on KEXP is even better.
can it be???
This is way better dude
I also agree that KEXP was better. But it could be due to the fact that it was the first version i've heard.
