❤️Friends, today I want to tell you how Buddy met his Mama: I just wanted to go out with him for a few minutes before hitting the gym. When he was outside, he just ran away, it was the first time he did this because german shepherds normally don't do this. 3 minutes later I found him in the forest next to my apartment and he was chillin' next to this beautiful girl. So Buddy found Samanta for me, or he just found her for himself. Since then, they have this special bond, a hilarious relationship between my dog and the girl who became my girlfriend.

@@DragonflyPrincess you dense cabbage, 1) yes chocolate can be fatal to dogs IN HIGH AMOUNTS a couple licks of chocolate ice cream is the equivalent of 2-3 chocolate chips, no where NEAR enough to cause harm to the animal and 2) its more likely than not something OTHER than chocolate, im sure he appreciates your concern but im also sure he knows how to care for his dog

My cousin Joyce's Miniature Pinscher got into a bag of mini Reese's Cups (milk chocolate and peanut butter), you know the kind that are wrapped in gold foil? He ate them all. He had no problem except he was crapping out gold foil for a couple of days.

People who don't own a German Shepherd Dog (GSD) sometimes just won't understand them. GSD's are smart, loyal, loveable, funny, protective, beautiful and willing and wanting to please their Humans. My GSD amazes me everyday, sometimes I think she can read my mind. She watches over and will "herd" my 18 year old blind and hard of hearing Poodle outside, she keeps her away from the pool and makes sure she enters the house safely. My GSD was a puppy (8 weeks old)when I got her so she has known the Poodle since she has lived with me.
There's hardly a breed that isn't sweet, loyal and loving ... to a warm loving owner.

Our Doberman Shepherd mix used to love ice cream like crazy. Her final treat was a hamburger and an ice cream cone all for herself. After 11 years with her and 25 years after her passing I still get all onion factory over thinking about her. German Shepherd's are awesome. Beautiful dog you got there, thanks for bringing up good memories with mine.

I can tell you a toy poodle can eat a ham sandwich faster than you can. My old Rottweiler could eat a roast in less than 45 seconds. Now that I have a wife I can not have a Rot cuz they are scary.

Two floor dusting, loud barking, ankle biters. 12 lbs each with 3 lbs of fuzz. The Rotty left bigger piles than that in the back yard.
But 4 lbs of food = two weeks for two.
One Rottweiler 4 lbs or more of food = one day.
2 weeks & 2 of them 50lbs of dog food. 25lbs of beans + neckbones and hamburger or 25lbs of rice and chicken backs. Crockpot full & busy everyday.
They would tell me when it was done.
One made it to 13 and the other 14.
Yep the people food, that was what shortened their life. LOL

I have owned 3 German Shepherds in my life time.. and letting a dog like my food is absolutely OUT of the Question!🤮 I am The Alpha and the Dog eats when I am done . And shows respect while waiting.
You're overtraining them. No dog has that much of a complex brain to think they are the alpha if you give them a little bit of your food. I feel comfortable enough with my dog to where I do it, and if you don't like it, then walk away and let us do what we want.

Friends, science proves that a dog should not eat chocolate products. We bought sugar-free ice cream because industrial sugar is also unhealthy for dogs (also for humans lol), but we forgot for a moment about the chocolate fact. It's not a big thing, nothing happened, but when you want to try this with your dog, please don't buy chocolate ice cream and ice cream with added sugar.

The very first thing that my girlfriend does when she gets off work is pick up my Doberman, Cisco and take him for a burger. And yes, I've seen them split an ice cream cone. On the weekends she takes him fishing ( she grew up only girl in a house full of brothers). She rarely takes me fishing and has never taken me for a burger.

@@BuddyTheGermanShepherd I am afraid not. I have no idea why I wrote that in present tense. Wishful thinking, perhaps. Sadly, Cisco is no longer with us. I suspect that he is in a verdant, pastoral meadow somewhere, chasing butterflies and playing with kittens and baby racoons. He was a fully trained personal protection dog, but a very gentle soul, in his own right. We miss him.
