- For the show, Ben had the audience write down song requests, make paper airplanes, and throw them up stage at the beginning of the show. Obviously he couldn't get through all of them, so for his encore he had a few members of the audience gather the remaining requests together and he did a huge melody of them all. The results were amazing! This is Part 2 of 3.
Creep was my request, made my night when he played it.
I love that he fucked up Bruised. I spoke with him after a concert in Detroit in 2010 and asked him if he would play it some time and he said he barely remembered the song but so many people love it and he might try it someday. Considering he's back with Robert and Darren, that seems unlikely, but still.
Ben knows how sad and catastrophic this song is. It no doubt kills him to sing it based on the pain it and his partner at the time it involves. But he makes sure when he does, it’s perfect. Because the crowd expects it. Even though no doubt every time it’s performed it makes him sad.

he played part of it in one of his apartment request shows a few months ago, i know it's not the same as seeing it live but i thought i'd let you know
Excuse me. You're asking him to play literally dozens of songs on cue, many of which he probably hasn't played in years. If he can't remember it, don't boo him.
