I love the smash 64 roster so much, seeing the og cast missing will be kinda heartbreaking, if they can’t bring everyone back, at least keep the 12 we know and grew with.
One thing I really want more than anything in the next Smash game is more interaction between the characters. For a crossover game, Smash doesn't really take advantage of that imo, since the characters literally do nothing but fight each other, albeit with some exceptions. I'm not expecting 50+ characters to all have unique dialogues with each other, but more Palutena's guidance/Snake's codec type of fanservice would be very much appreciated. Or, if the next Smash game ends up being a port (even though you mentioned it being unlikely), how about adding some linear story and dialogue in World of Light? Or even maybe CGI cutscenes, since they won't be making that many new reveal trailers? I just really wish the interaction between characters are more focused on next time around.
You are right. I love all the weird team ups in subspace emissary. Mario and Pit, Link and Yoshi, Olimar and Captain Falcon, Meta Knight and Marth. Those interactions were the best. I watched a fan made smash bros movie, and it was the best. We should get more of those. What was your favorite part of Subspace emissary?

@@alondite215 Ummm... what? No, in my hypothetical scenario the game would be a port, so minimal amount of dev work would be required And the CGI cutscenes and Snake codecs would be written and produced by animation studios Nintendo will pay for, not game devs I genuinely don't get your question can you explain again
I don't get the Smash 4 slander in general overall. It seems like it's the "cool thing" to do these days, like people weren't praising it when it was the relevant Smash.
I don’t understand how as soon as Smash Ultimate came out, people started shitting on Smash 4 like it was worse than Brawl, like it definitely was not underwhelming. I think people just fell out of love with it with Bayo and Cloud dominating competitive near the end of its life, and when Ultimate came out, everyone just forgot everything they liked about Smash 4. It’s a good smash game
So it won't be perfect until the things happening on-screen are what you ant them to be? You realize that has nothing to do with how it actually _plays_ right?
In addition to Rayman Bring In Crash Bandicoot Spyro The Dragon Lara Croft From Tomb Raider Leon Or Jill From Resident Evil Klonoa Abe From Oddworld Gex The Gecko The Pyramid Head That plus Bring Back Snake, Cloud, And Kazuya To where we can finally have a proper version of Playstation All Stars
Silver will be assistant trophy but knuckles and shadow will be perhaps new fighters like Jin from tekken scorpion new character from mk and captain price with ghost from call of duty
Great call on two different Final Smash versions, and yes Raggins, of course we want to see a video going over every character in your roster of 40 + 15 third party + 14 dlc fighters.
i think the best (not realistic) route would be basically -runs on an entirely new engine -a story mode -every character from ultimate but the move sets are completely redone -dlc that spans way longer, like 4 passes this is an outcome the most fans would be happy with, and i think it can be done if they give smash a really huge budget and have a ton of people work on it
I don't understand the Smash 4 hate, that game introduced the world to handheld smash which was awesome for the time. What was also really cool, and a rarely used feature, was you could actually sync your 3ds to the wii u and use it as a controller.
If there IS gonna be a smash 6, I’ve got 4 fighters in mind. 1 & 2. Cinderace & Meowscarada from Pokémon. 3. Waluigi in as the 100th fighter. And 4. Kevin Keene from Captain N. (to finally have a fourth party character in and have more fourth party possibilities.)
the problem with the meter is that there are a ton of characters who either a.dont have transformations, or b. have it in their final smash.because characters like game and watch or meta knight dont really have transformations.
Speaking of Transformations If their is one character that needs a Transformation It's Young Link Please someone give him The Mask Transformations From Majora's Mask Please give me the option to Transform Young Link into Deku Link, Goron Link, Zora Link Please someone!! Make that happen!!

I don't know if a new Smash would outdo SSB Ultimate. Same to be said that I don't think the next Mario Kart could outdo MK8 Deluxe. Those 2 games are going to be hard to be over achieved for what Smash Ultimate and MK 8 Deluxe have done for those franchises.
Nintendo is full of surprises, and "Switch 2" is said to be on par with Xbox One & PlayStation 4 in terms of power. With the right development team & adequate development time, I think they can pull off something extraordinary for their two top-sellers.
Good video! I feel like Oatchi will definitely be in Smash next time around, because unlike Louie, Alph, etc, he's more distinct from Olimar visually and mechanically. Would love to see more ideas on the roster breakdown: how would you ipdate Donkey Kong? Would you change Olimar at all, maybe add ice pikmin?
Speaking of Donkey Kong Please keep K Rool and Diddy And add in these DK Newcomers to the roster Dixie Kong (It's time for her to be a playable character in Smash Bros) Funky Kong Cranky Kong The DK 64 Crew (Funky, Lanky, Tiny) Lord Fredrik From Tropical Freeze Stanley The Bugman From The 80's DK Arcade Games Ect.................................
@@dylansmith5206 I agree on keeping Diddy and K. Rool! Dixie Kong is definitely a deserving newcomer candidate, but I also like the idea of Cranky Kong as a joke character lol.
Never seen your channel before, but nice, direct video, encapsulating all I've been wondering about Smash 6. And that bulborg is adorable. Subscribed 👍
I feel there are 2 options. Either they make a Deluxe edition with more DLC like MK8D or they make an entirely new game that is storybased. Imagine a Smash Bros. JRPG by Monolith Soft
In my personal opinion, Nintendo could easily justify a SSB Ultimate Deluxe with more DLC and a few new features, or something like slightly upgraded graphics for the next-generation hardware.
Smash Bros JRPG bye Monolith Soft = Terrible idea (i don't hate Monolith Soft because they Made BOTW, Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing New Horizons, but they also Made Xenoshit Chronicles, son if that happens i wouldn't be happy, and i don't like any kind Of RPG)
My perfect new Smash game is Ultimate 2 with 10 First Party ( Muddy Mole, Takamaru, Psyduck, Cranky Kong, Waddle Dee, Midna & Wolf Link, Porky, Samurai Goroh, Waluigi, and Geno) 10 Third Party (Spyro, Crash, Rayman, Bill Rizer, Ryu Hyabusa, Gilius from Goldenaxe, Dr Eggman, Arthur from Ghosts and Goblins, Earthworm Jim, Rash from Battletoads) and 10 echoes (Mrs. Pac-Man, Dixie Kong, Shadow the Hedgehog, Proto-Man, Dr. Luigi, Alph, Blood Falcon, Riku over Sora, Midbus, and Galacta Knight). Any other characters could be added as DLC, but those are what I think would be most satisfying to the most people.
If new fighters were added here are just a few I’d definitely like to see! The Knight (Hollow Knight) Hat Kid (A Hat in Time) maybe Bow Kid as an echo? Ashley (Warioware) Ori (Ori and The Blind Forest) Octoling (Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion) Toadette or Toad (Mario series) maybe have Toadette as an echo to Toad or costume idk Susie (Kirby) And lastly it probably won’t happen but a fighter I’d definitely like to see is maybe a character from the Don’t Starve series. (Specifically Wendy and Abigail but anyone else I’d love to see!)
“The underwhelming smash 4” how is smash 4 underwhelming in any way. It has the most amount of new characters added in the base game and is single handedly one of the best games on the Wii u
Smash 4 is the improved game after brawl that did not have tripping and had custom moves to customise your characters and make them play slightly different. It had free and not awfull online play and i think the classic mode was fun AF and had so much fun on smash tour even though the rest of the community seemed to hate it. It was with smash tour me and my friends had the most fun. Its also the smash game with the largest thropy collection.
I don't see whats bad with a port, ultimate is already so good so seeing it again with a few more characters, minor mechanical changes, good online and maybe a new game mode sounds perfect. As for the reboot thing, cutting so many especially first parties od going to be super controversial. I expect around 70 characters next game, 60 minimum. But 15 third party seems questionable, that's almost a fourth of the roster! Problem is even in a smaller roster veterans likely won't change much, as the devs seem to have a clear desire to keep characters mostly the same and "accessable" across games. Plus veterans would still be prioritized so not that many newcomers are going to be likely still I think the best direction for smash is to release a game with 50 or so characters, then continually update it and add more over the course of several years. Basically a live service game
Ganondorf better get his own move set and be like a magical type fighter, just being honest he’s always been my main since brawl he’s recent new style tears of kingdom suits him for the next smash game
This is how you unlock the unlockable characters in the game (REMEMBER: There are 100 characters if counting Pokemon Trainer as one character AND if you do not count Mii Fighters or Sportsmate Fighters.): 1. Unlock Pauline - Complete the 100 Man Smash or play 25 VS. Mode matches. (NOTE: Pauline is guaranteed the first unlockable character to unlock in this game.) 2. Unlock Birdo - Complete Classic with Mario or play 50 VS. Mode matches. (NOTE: But not on Normal or Hard because you are going to get Mew or Riolu.) 3. Unlock Meowth - Complete Classic with any character (except Mario, unless Birdo is unlocked already) or play 75 VS. Mode matches. 4. Unlock Mew - Complete Classic in 20 minutes or less or play 100 VS. Mode matches. 5. Unlock Riolu - Complete Classic on Normal or Hard with 3 stocks and no continues or play 125 VS. Mode matches. 6. Unlock Medusa - Complete Classic with 10 different characters or play 150 VS. Mode matches. 7. Unlock Viridi - Defeat at least 1 enemy in Cruel Smash or play 175 VS. Mode matches. 8. Unlock Aiai - Play VS. Mode for 20 hours or play 200 VS. Mode matches. 9. Unlock TY the Tasmanian Tiger - Complete Classic, Target Smash, or Board the Platforms with all characters (except TY the Tasmanian Tiger) or play 250 VS. Mode matches. (NOTE: The third party character TY the Tasmanian Tiger is guaranteed the last unlockable character you unlock in this game.) Each unlockable character (if you do just VS. Mode matches to unlock them) is unlocked after doing 25 VS. Mode matches. The two exceptions are Aiai and TY the Tasmanian Tiger. Aiai is unlocked after doing 200 VS. Mode matches, while TY the Tasmanian Tiger is unlocked after doing 250. Masahiro Sakurai stated it would be appropriate that third party characters (who are newcomers) would be unlocked last in this game. As a result, the third party character TY the Tasmanian Tiger (the mascot of Krome Studios) is the last one. (NOTE: If Birdo is present on the MELEE stage Mushroom Kingdom II, her stage hazard version from Super Mario Bros 2 does not appear. This is similar to how the background cameo appearance of King Dedede does not appear on N64 Dream Land if King Dedede is present on the stage. So both of these characters King Dedede and now Birdo, their "spirits" do not appear as background or stage hazard characters while actively playing as a fighter on those two stages. That is, N64 Dream Land and the MELEE stage Mushroom Kingdom II.) These are all the stages that will take place for "Challenger Approaching" battles: 1. Pauline - 75M (BRAWL stage) 2. Birdo - Mushroom Kingdom II (MELEE stage) 3. Meowth - Pokemon Stadium 2 (BRAWL stage) 4. Mew - Pokemon Stadium 2 (BRAWL stage) 5. Riolu - Spear Pillar (BRAWL stage) 6. Medusa - Palutena's Temple (Smash 4 stage) 7. Viridi - Palutena's Temple (Smash 4 stage) 8. Aiai - Aiai's Stage (new in Ultimate Deluxe) 9. TY the Tasmanian Tiger - TY's Stage (new in Ultimate Deluxe) The ULTIMATE DELUXE versions of Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination (from the Super Smash Bros universe) are not considered home stages. So none of these stages are used for "Challenger Approaching" battles. All unlockable characters will be fought on retro stages (returning from SMASH 64, MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, or ULTIMATE). That is, but not from the Super Smash Bros universe. It will only be a stage from their respective universe instead. All unlockable characters will have home stages and will take place for "Challenger Approaching" battles. Retro stages will occur, but only if it is a home stage (stage from a character's respective universe). Birdo is the only unlockable character to be fought on a retro stage returning from SMASH 64 and/or MELEE (the MELEE stage Mushroom Kingdom II). (NOTE: From past installments, in MELEE, Falco, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo were the three unlockable characters to be fought on a Smash universe stage --the MELEE versions of Battlefield and Final Destination. In BRAWL, Ganondorf was fought on Final Destination-SSBB. In the 3DS version of SMASH 4, Duck Hunt was fought on Battlefield-SSB4. And in ULTIMATE, Ryu was fought on Battlefield-SSBU. But like in the Wii U version of SMASH 4, in ULTIMATE DELUXE, Smash universe stages are not considered home stages. So they are not fought on in "Challenger Approaching" battles.) So yes, ULTIMATE DELUXE (like previous installments --starting from MELEE and having it as MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE) it has a set unlockable character to be unlocked last. And it is the third party character TY the Tasmanian Tiger (mascot of Krome Studios). SMASH 64 didn't have one because you could unlock them in any order you wanted. But starting from MELEE, all games had a set unlockable character to be unlocked last. MELEE had the set last one as Mr. Game and Watch, BRAWL had it as Jigglypuff (if SSE method is used), the 3DS version of SMASH 4 had it Jigglypuff, the Wii U version of SMASH 4 had it Duck Hunt, and ULTIMATE had it Palutena (only through VS. Mode matches). In ULTIMATE DELUXE, it is the third party character TY the Tasmanian Tiger. (NOTE: The reason why Super Monkey Ball's Aiai is the penultimate unlockable character and TY the Tasmanian Tiger is the real last unlockable character is because Masahiro Sakurai stated that it would be appropriate if third party characters were not only unlockable in this game like BRAWL, but also be unlocked last. And therefore, TY the Tasmanian Tiger is the real last unlockable character.) In ULTIMATE DELUXE, since it is back to having more starter characters than unlockables, all the unlockable characters have unique unlocking criteria to unlock them. But they can also be unlocked by doing VS. Mode matches. (NOTE: While Waluigi shares the same victory theme as his brother Wario, Toad, Toadette, Birdo, and Pauline all share the same victory theme as the characters from the Super Mario Bros universe Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, and Dr. Mario. So there are four newcomers from the Super Mario Bros universe in this game. It is Toad, Toadette, Pauline, and Birdo.) Aiai (from the Super Monkey Ball universe) he is the mascot of Amusement Vision. This means Nintendo is rivals with Capcom, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Konami, Microsoft, Platinum Games, Sega, SNK, Square Enix, Atlus, Disney, and now Amusement Vision and Krome Studios. There are now 12 third party universes (beginning with ULTIMATE DELUXE). And TY the Tasmanian Tiger is the mascot of Krome Studios. Without including Mii Fighters or Sportsmate Fighters, there are 9 unlockable characters in the base game. If counting Pokemon Trainer as one character and discounting Mii Fighters and Sportsmate Fighters, there are 99 characters (90 starters and 9 unlockables). (NOTE: Pyra and Myrtha are no longer transformation characters, similar to Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Zelda, and Sheik. That means Pokemon Trainer is the only character to be a transformation character in all future games after BRAWL. That is, BRAWL, ULTIMATE, and ULTIMATE DELUXE.) I forgot to add this. For recovery items, Maxim Tomatoes (from the Kirby universe) and Heart Containers (from the Legend of Zelda universe) are back to recovering the same number of damage as they did in the original Super Smash Bros. The Maxim Tomato heals 100% damage, while the Heart Container restores 999% (for example: if you are at 300% damage, using a Heart Container will restore your health back to 0%). As for the Fairy Bottle (from the Legend of Zelda universe), instead of 100% damage, it releases 200%. Food (from the Super Smash Bros universe) still reduces 1%-11% damage. (NOTE: The reason why Maxim Tomato and Heart Container from the Kirby and Legend of Zelda universes are back in their function from the original Super Smash Bros is because All Star does not return. All Star from MELEE, BRAWL, and SMASH 4 had the Heart Containers be 999% damage instead of 100%. But since it has been succeeded by All Star Smash since ULTIMATE and now ULTIMATE DELUXE, the Maxim Tomato is now back to 100% damage, the Heart Container is back to 999%, AND the new recovery item Fairy Bottle is 200% is instead of 100%.)
I honestly don't see that many 3rd party charachters going if their's a new smash game. I used to think Cloud would be gone but then we got two square enix charachters as dlc one of which they would've had to jump through insane hoops to get. Plus almost all of the final fantasy games are on switch now ontop of a remake of Super Mario rpg coming, with all this in mind I think Square and Atlus are the most guaranteed along with Sega. The one that might be the biggest problem is Konami because their Konami.
For me a Smash reboot will feel complete if they add in Cloud, Sephiroth, Sora, Sonic, Shadow and Dr. Eggman as among the few 3rd party additions and I’ll be happy, so it’s good hearing what you said about Square and Sega. Although with that being said, I think it’d be worth trying to at least bring back Steve if they wanted to bring back a Microsoft character between Banjo & Kazooie and Steve, Steve makes the most sense to bring back due to his popularity. Bonus points if they make a new and improved Subspace Emissary based story with all 50 or 60 characters included, realistically 50.
@@Azureblue25 Yeah unless something catstrophic happens between Nintendo, Square, sega, and Atlus I just can't picture their charachters leaving. Microsoft might be a problem now because their arrogant claim of wanting to buy Nintendo might rub them the wrong way, I hope not because Banjo is Nintendo's charachter and he deserves to be in smash.
Really like the different style of video. I'd love to see more smash content and you're idea of what a rebooted Smash Bros roster would look like. Personally i'd be happy with a smaller roster as long as my mains Ike and Shulk return.

I wonder how people would feel about re-cloning some characters in order to have everybody be there again. I know people hate echo fighters less than they used to hate clones, but would we rather have Luigi, Dr. Mario, Falco, Wolf, Roy, Lucas, Young Link, Toon Link, and Pichu be clones than not have them at all?
5:41 is so cute yet so menacing Also this is the best smash video I've seen talking about smash 6 and the future of the franchise ty for that, I had lots of questions hopefully nintendo doesn’t screw it up or make it worse than ultimate if it ever comes out But I higly doubt that it won't be as good, I don't think people should expect something like a Subspace Emissary 2 since Sakurai once said he was bothered by the game's cutscenes being uploaded to youtube
If theres gonna be a new smash game the new characters I would want to see is Rayman, Crash Bandicoot, Barry Steakfries, Shadow the hedgehog/Knuckles the echidna, Jin Kazama and maybe Akuma some of these are very unlikely especially Barry Steakfries but it would be cool to see a mobile game character get into smash
ngl I wouldn't mind if the rest of the series was legit just ports of ultimate with more characters each time as well as rebooting old characters movesets
Pokemon Trainer will be the only transformation character. Pyra and Myrtha (like Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Zelda, and Sheik) are going to be separate characters. Since Mii Fighters and Nintendo Switch Sports's Sportsmate Fighters are not playable on 1 player modes (only on VS. Mode), there will be 100 characters. (NOTE: There will be 106 if you count both Mii Fighters and Sportsmate Fighters. And yes, Mii Brawler, Mii Gunner, and Mii Swordfighter are going to be their own characters.) Like the original Super Smash Bros, profile screens will return (returning the Super Smash Bros series to standard Smash series rules). And yes, all of them will have descriptions. Trophies will only occur for doing a specific 1 player mode. These are the trophies you will unlock: CLASSIC (NOTE: Smash 4's Master Core and Smash Ultimate's Galeem only appear as trophies in ULTIMATE DELUXE.) 1. Unlock the Master Hand Trophy - Complete Classic on Easy. 2. Unlock the Crazy Hand Trophy - Complete Classic on Normal. 3. Unlock the Giga Bowser Trophy - Complete Classic on Hard. 4. Unlock the Beast Ganon Trophy - Complete Classic with 10 different characters. 5. Unlock the Marx Trophy - Complete Classic with 20 different characters. 6. Unlock the Rathalos Trophy - Complete Classic with no continues. 7. Unlock the Dracula Trophy - Complete Classic with any character. 8. Unlock the Master Core Trophy - Complete Classic in 20 minutes or less and no continues. 9. Unlock the Galeem Trophy - Complete Classic with all characters. (NOTE: Switched-in characters are not included. So Pokemon Trainer can be done in one playthrough. Toadette is the only exception. So you do have to do Classic with Toadette. That is, even if she is one of Toad's alternate colors. All other switched-in characters are not acknowledged to be separate characters. That is, not even the Koopalings separate from Bowser Jr.) MOB SMASH 1. Unlock the Fighting Mii Team Trophy - Complete the 100 Man Smash. (NOTE: Mii Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter are all included in this trophy.) 2. Unlock the Fighting Sportsmate Team Trophy - Defeat all characters in All Star Smash. (NOTE: Sportsmate Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter are all included in this trophy.) 4. Unlock the Rayquaza Trophy - Defeat 1 enemy in Cruel Smash. 5. Unlock the Tabuu Trophy - Defeat 5 enemies in Cruel Smash. HOME RUN CONTEST 1. Unlock the Sandbag Trophy - Get 1,350 feet in the Home Run Contest with any character. (NOTE: This is similar to unlocking the N64 Yoshi's Island stage in MELEE.) TARGET SMASH 1. Unlock the Target Trophy - Complete Target Smash on all 3 levels with all characters. BOARD THE PLATFORMS 1. Unlock the Platform Trophy - Complete Board the Platforms on all 3 levels with all characters. Altogether, there are 17 generic trophies to unlock. And yes, all of them have descriptions. Character descriptions instead appear in Character profile screens. Challenges also do not return, as trophies are only unlocked by doing 1 player modes. That is, and character descriptions only appear on character profiles, as they did in SMASH 64. Final Smash descriptions appear under "Final Smash Profiles". Character and Final Smash profiles will be available from the start. Again, trophies (unlockable by doing specific 1 player modes) cannot be unlocked through co-op play. They can only be done in solo. And if the player does these modes on co-op play, the high scores are not attached to any character and they only appear in their own reserved slot. (NOTE: Like BRAWL's Classic Mode, Classic in ULTIMATE DELUXE only allows solo mode and no co-op play.) All the modes for GAMES AND MORE are going to be: REGULAR MATCH: Classic STADIUM: Target Smash, Board the Platforms, Mob Smash, and Home Run Contest TRAINING STAGE BUILDER CHALLENGERS APPROACH (NOTE: This occurs if the player fails the first time at unlocking an unlockable character.) Once again, Event Match does not return. However, stages in Classic have unique conditions like Event Match. And All Star Smash is similar to the final co-op events from BRAWL and SMASH 4 (Co-Op Event 21: The True All Star Battle and The Ultimate Battle). (NOTE: Besides the fact that Classic has unique conditions like Event Match, the only other reference to Event Match is All Star Smash in Mob Smash. And All Star Smash, it is similar to the final co-op events from both BRAWL and SMASH 4.) Like SMASH 64, the "Regular Match" mode has one subcategory. And it is Classic. All Star (unlike in MELEE, BRAWL, and SMASH 4) is succeeded by "All Star Smash" since ULTIMATE and ULTIMATE DELUXE. Adventure no longer exists. This is been removed since ULTIMATE DELUXE. And that was due to the number of universes and characters getting bigger (since ULTIMATE and now ULTIMATE DELUXE). So there is no more Adventure or Event Match. In All Star Smash, all the base game characters (count Pokemon Trainer as one character) are fought randomly, except for Mr. Game and Watch (who is fought first --as he was the first Nintendo character overall), Aiai (who is fought as the penultimate character and opponent), and TY the Tasmanian Tiger (who is fought last --due to being the last unlockable character you unlock in this game). The other 96 characters (after Mr. Game and Watch AND before Aiai and TY the Tasmanian Tiger) in the base game are going to be mixed around. (NOTE: Like how Mr. Game and Watch is fought last on MELEE's All Star, this is similar to MELEE's All Star where the last unlockable character to unlock is fought as the last character and all the previous characters not the last unlockable character are fought randomly. So in this version, TY the Tasmanian Tiger is fought last.) And after TY the Tasmanian Tiger is defeated, like Endless Smash, the cycle restarts and loops back to a random character not TY the Tasmanian Tiger. For Classic, this remains unchanged as in ULTIMATE. (NOTE: That is, including continues restarting where the player left off and each character has their own Classic Mode routes.) However, there are a few changes. 1. Is back to being traditional difficulty (Easy, Normal, and Hard). 2. Is back to having 1 to 5 stocks. 3. Has three bonus stages. (NOTE: After 2 stages, this is interrupted by a bonus stage. Target Smash occurs after Stage 2, Board the Platforms occurs after Stage 4, and Race to the Finish occurs after Stage 6. Level 1 of the first 2 bonus stages occurs if the player does Classic on Easy, Level 2 occurs if the player does it on Normal, and Level 3 occurs if the player does it on Hard. Level 1 has green targets and green platforms, Level 2 has blue targets and blue platforms, and Level 3 has purple targets and purple platforms.) 4. Bosses with HP are back to having traditional HP. (NOTE: On all 3 difficulties, all bosses have 300 HP, similar to the Master Hand boss fight in the SMASH 64 version of Classic.) 5. The "credits" minigame has a generic song (known as "Credits-Super Smash Bros Ultimate Deluxe") instead of characters playing a song from their own universe. For difficulties, Easy is the green difficulty, Normal is the blue one, and Hard is the purple. In ULTIMATE DELUXE, instead of using colored words or generic circles (unlike SMASH 64, MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE), difficulties use books. For Easy, it is one green book, Normal is two blue books, and Hard is three purple books. The name of difficulty appears on the book spine of the top book.
I think everyone should return for the next smash game because Nintendo already made amiibo figures for every fighter especially the ones that return in ultimate like pichu, ice climbers, wolf, snake, Pokémon trainer and Squritle and Ivysaur, young link, and the reason why world of light is not like subspace is because sakurai did not want to add cutscenes because of leakers, and I would really want Freddy Fazbear to be in smash 6
Speaking of Smash 4 If there is one thing we need to see in The Next Smash game We need to see Smash Run From Smash 4 on 3DS With being exactly the same as it was on 3DS

Hey not every MCU project post Endgame is bad. WandaVision, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Loki season 1, Spiderman No Way Home, Black Panther Wakanda Forever, Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and Loki season 2 exist.
Okay I believe these are the reps WE need: Sonic: Tails Knuckles Shadow Eggman Pokemon: Zeraora Pac Man: Ms. Pacman All the ghosts at the same time Mega Man: Zero Protoman Dr. Wily Star fox: Slippy Peppy Crystal
What about eevee and the eeveelutions? There are so many wild cards like incineroar that are just... there and I feel like the joint mascot of pokemon should be a playable character instead of a tackle item and spirit. And no I'm not saying that each eeveelution should be a separate character; if anything it should be 1 character that could have 1 or 2 moves per eeveelution, with them u turning every attack. But that'll be extremely unlikely.
Id be down if they made all the trophy assists chatacters and made the main cast trophies. It woild be sad to see everyone leave but would be neat as a party game.
I really can’t understand anyone thinking that anything BUT porting Ultimate is the best idea. People are going to be upset if characters get cut, we’ve already seen that, and assuming porting Ultimate is significantly easier than making a new game, just adding more content to that game will make the most people happy. Heck, there’s nothing saying they can’t overhaul character movesets in an Ultimate port.
In ULTILATME DELUXE, All the Assist Trophy characters return (except Waluigi who is a playable character). These are all the new Assist Trophy characters: SUPER MARIO BROS: 1. King Boo 2. Koopa Troopa 3. Paratroopa 4. Goomba 5. Lakitu and Spinies (returning from BRAWL) YOSHI'S ISLAND 1. Kamek (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island) 2. Toadies/Solo Toadies THE LEGEND OF ZELDA 1. ReDead 2. Like-Like 3. Octorok ICE CLIMBER 1. Polar Bear 2. Topi (NOTE: This enemy is a sea lion in the Japanese versions in all games. But it does not appear as a sea lion in the NTSC version, even if the Language option is set to Japanese. That is, similar to how they don't on MELEE's Adventure. In the Japanese only release they do, but not in NTSC versions.) SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 1. Dr. Eggman SUPER MONKEY BALL 1. Dr. Bad Boon TY THE TASMANIAN TIGER 1. Boss Cass ULTIMATE DELUXE is the first installment to have Assist Trophy characters from the Yoshi's Island universe. Altogether, there will be 73 Assist Trophy characters. Kamek is the first character from the Yoshi's Island universe to be an Assist Trophy character. That is, starting from ULTIMATE DELUXE. Now while Yoshi's Island does have characters who appear as Assist Trophies (starting with ULTIMATE DELUXE), this leaves Pokemon to be the only universe overall to not have any. That is because Pokemon arguably appear from Poke Balls and Master Balls. (That is, since SMASH 64, MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE.) ULTIMATE DELUXE will be the first installment to introduce characters from the Yoshi's Island to appear as Assist Trophy characters (Kamek and Toadies/Solo Toadies). ULTIMATE DELUXE is going to be the first installment where all the playable protagonists from the Mario Party series are playable characters. That is, including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Peach, Wario, Diddy Kong, Rosalina, Daisy, Waluigi, Birdo, Pauline, Toad, and Toadette. (NOTE: Because of this, Vegetable is moved to their neutral special move. That is, and Kirby can copy it. Their down special move has them pull out a Beam Sword instead.)
If they did the smash reboot would there still be a pikmin character playable? Or what about sonic? If sonic and pikmin aren't in the next smash game, not getting it
I wanna see the echo fighter system used way more, we could have had so many characters added to ultimate but they really didn't make all that many echo fighters
I love how people still assume a proper Subspace follow up after Sakurai stated it won't happen again, now that character trailers are a thing. and the fact WoL was the result of Subspace being brought back.... What people should be asking for is a Smash Run sequel with more courses and online co-op.
Since Waluigi is now a playable character, Mario and Luigi no longer have their Wario or Waluigi based attires. These are the alternate colors for Mario and Luigi: 1. Mario - Red (Default), Striped, Light Blue, Brown, Green, Dark Blue (NOTE: This depicts Mario in his appearance from the original Donkey Kong. And he wears a dark blue cap, a dark blue shirt, and red overalls. This returns in ULTIMATE DELUXE, after being absent from SMASH 4 and ULTIMATE. That is because it was to replace his Waluigi based attire.), Builder Mario (again replaces his Wario based attire), and Wedding Mario (again replaces his Fire Mario color) 2. Luigi - Green (Default), Orange, Red, Light Blue, White, Builder Luigi (replaces his Waluigi based attire), Dark Blue, and Yellow Here are the other alternate colors: 1. Link - Blue (Default), Green, Red, Gray, Indigo, Teal, White, and Lavender (returning from MELEE) 2. Young Link - Green (Default), Red, Dark Blue, White, Pink, Light Blue, Orange, and Lavender (returning from MELEE) 3. Toon Link - Green (Default), Red, Dark Blue, Purple, Brown, Outset Link, Gray, and Teal 4. Bowser - Default, Dry Bowser (replaces his black costume from MELEE and BRAWL), Yellow, Green, Gray, Orange, Red, and Blue Also, because Dark Link is a playable character, Link, Young Link, and Toon Link no longer have their Dark Link based costumes. Toon Link's Dark Link color was removed to make room for his Outset Link color (from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker). Link and Young Link both got their lavender colors (from MELEE) back. (NOTE: The Koopalings will remain the same, except starting with ULTIMATE DELUXE, Morton will appear 2ND after the Koopaling Larry while Roy will appear 5TH after the Koopaling Iggy. That is, to be in the correct order as they are fought in Super Mario Bros 3. (NOTE: Any characters with alt. colors with separate shades of blue will no longer be called "Blue" and "Cyan", but "Dark Blue" and "Light Blue" if having dark blue and light blue alt. colors.) As for Team Mode, alt. colors again no longer occur. And team colors will again appear in red, yellow, blue, and green outlines. Alt. colors can be chosen in any color a player wants. (So once again, Samus can still wear her default color when on the red team. The reason why she wasn't able to do it in BRAWL, like she did in SMASH 64 and MELEE is because Samus and Zero Suit Samus were transformation characters. And her normal Samus alt. colors were paired with the Zero Suit Samus alt. colors.) Because of this, Toad and Bowser Jr's alternate colors will look like this: 1. Toad - Standard (default and resembles a standard colored Toad), Red (resembles a Red Toad), Yellow (resembles a Yellow Toad), Blue (resembles a Blue Toad), Green (resembles a Green Toad), Purple (resembles a Purple Toad), Captain Toad, and Toadette (this is the only alt. color of Toad to not be a colored Toad) 2. Bowser Jr - Bowser Jr, Larry (1st Koopaling), Morton (2nd Koopaling), Wendy (3rd Koopaling), Iggy (4th Koopaling), Roy (5th Koopaling), Lemmy (6th Koopaling), and Ludwig (7th and final Koopaling) Like the previous installments (SMASH 4 and ULTIMATE), in ULTIMATE DELUXE, there are two characters named Roy. That is, Roy from the Fire Emblem universe AND Roy Koopa from the Super Mario Bros universe. (NOTE: Like ULTIMATE, in ULTIMATE DELUXE, no veteran characters from SMASH 64, MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, or ULTIMATE are cut.) Since the original Super Smash Bros appears as a demo under MASTERPIECES and is going to be on the Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online, the Switch 2 family will be able to play all previous installments in the Smash series (except for MELEE and BRAWL). You can get the 3DS version of SMASH 4 for the Switch 2 Lite's Nintendo Switch Online, but not the Wii U version of SMASH 4 for either model of the Switch 2 family. So if you got SMASH 64 on the Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online and the 3DS version of SMASH 4 on the Switch 2 Lite's Nintendo Switch Online, then on the Switch 2 family, you have 4 other Smash series games. (That is, SMASH 64, SMASH 4, ULTIMATE, and ULTIMATE DELUXE.) But it is too bad you can no longer get MELEE nor BRAWL. (NOTE: Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online has Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Nintendo 64 titles including the original Super Smash Bros. But Nintendo Game Boy, Nintendo Game Boy Advanced, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS titles will instead be for the Switch 2 Lite's Nintendo Switch Online. And yes, the Switch 2 Lite includes a stylus for Nintendo DS titles on Nintendo Switch Online. That is, including Mario Party DS. As for the Mario Party series, Mario Party 1, 2, 3, Advanced, DS, Island Tour, Star Rush, and The Top 100 are the eight installments in the Mario Party series to be released on Nintendo Switch Online. That is, but only for the Switch 2 family. The old Switch's Nintendo Switch Online had just Mario Party 1, 2, and 3, as well as the Switch 2's "Nintendo Switch Mode" since the Switch 2 is compatible with Switch and New Switch. The Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online has Mario Party 1, 2, and 3. And the Switch 2 Lite's has Mario Party DS, Island Tour, Star Rush, and The Top 100. Mario Party 4 through 10 have not, as Gamecube and Wii haven't been released on Nintendo Switch Online for any other future home console system. And yes, the Switch 2 Lite is compatible with Switch Lite.) Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Link, Young Link, and Toon Link are the six characters who had their alternate colors changed. Mario's Waluigi based outfit was removed but was given back his dark blue color (from the previous 3 installments). Luigi's Waluigi's based outfit was removed to make room for his Builder Luigi color. And Bowser's black color was removed to make room for his Dry Bowser outfit. The other 94 characters had their alternate colors remain unchanged. ULTIMATE DELUXE is the first installment in the Smash series where all of the veterans (from SMASH 64, MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE) have their character portraits unchanged. And once again, the English announcer and English voice actor of both Master Hand and Crazy Hand remains unchanged. (Xander Mobus once again reprises his role.) The reason why Xander Mobus reprises his role is because the previous 3 announcers (Jeff Manning, Dean Harrington, and Pat Cashman --the ones who did the English announcer in SMASH 64, MELEE, and BRAWL) were in the 50's. Here are the other things that ULTIMATE DELUXE shares with ULTIMATE: 1. No characters are cut. 2. There is no Event Match. 3. There are more retro stages than new stages. 4. There are Assist Trophy characters with their universes not having playable characters. 5. All Star (from MELEE, BRAWL, and SMASH 4) is succeeded by All Star Smash (a sub mode of Mob Smash). However, a new feature to ULTIMATE DELUXE is that there are both starter and unlockable third party characters. That is because none of the veterans from previous installments are unlockables, but starters. (NOTE: Also collectible trophies return. However, there are 14 generic trophies that you unlock for doing a specific 1 player mode. Character descriptions instead appear in character profiles. Character profiles in ULTIMATE DELUXE is similar to SMASH 64. And by extension, for starter characters, all veterans from previous installments are starters. That is, including the characters from Smash 64's "Original 12" and the MELEE newcomers Falco and Mr. Game and Watch. Falco and Mr. Game and Watch have been unlockables since MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE. But in ULTIMATE DELUXE, they are starters for the first time. That is, along with Ness, C.Falcon, Luigi, and Jigglypuff from Smash 64's "Original 12". On the character selection screen, characters in horizontal rows go by "Smash series" installment order and not by matching universes. The unlockable characters instead appear at the bottom row of the starters when they are unlocked. Only the starters use "Smash series" installment order. For example, all the characters from Smash 64's "Original 12" appear in the top row. Waluigi, Toad, Toadette, Dark Link, and Aryll are the five newcomers in ULTIMATE DELUXE to be starters. All the other newcomers that are not Sportsmate Fighters are unlockables. That is, including Pauline, Birdo, Meowth, Mew, Riolu, Medusa, Viridi, Aiai, and TY the Tasmanian Tiger. And by extension, Meowth, Medusa, and Viridi are the three newcomer antagonists to be unlockables. Medusa and Viridi along with Pauline and Birdo are the four female characters to be unlockable. The other two are male including Aiai and TY the Tasmanian Tiger. Since Meowth, Mew, and Riolu are from the Pokemon universe, as they have always been referred to as "it", Pokemon did not have genders at the time of the original Super Smash Bros. That is, not counting Pikachu who has a visible gender difference. And this started with ULTIMATE. Because Pikachu in ULTIMATE and now ULTIMATE DELUXE now has female alternate colors. In the real Pokemon universe, for Pikachu, while the female's tail ends in a heart, the male has the normal Pikachu lightning bolt tail.)
Best thing to do is cut down and streamline. We don't need 100+ characters, we need 30-40 balanced ones. Revamp some older characters, give us a couple new ones, make the roster feel diverse with unique playstyles.
I've seen a lot of other peoples' hypothetical reboot/trimmed rosters and I'd like to see yours, especially since your "55 returning veterans" list isn't a strict _halving_ like most are.
Yeah. If they do the echo stuff again, maybe some characters like Peppy, Slippy, Raichu, Octoling, or even Violet from Persona 5 Royale could be good echo fighters.
Watching a previously Xbox exclusive space marine god fight a previously PS exclusive anime protagonist, who knows Goofy personally, and may or may not have posted his bail, would be an absolute dream.
I swear to god if smash adds sans as an actual character I’m gonna fucking explode out of joy ( or just any Undertale character in general I don’t care if it’s froggit that my new main ), also all these skins Mario and Luigi have sometimes use they’re power ups so I had an idea for a mechanic that they could have, so basically they will have a move where they pull out a question block and you can jump up to hit or you could also use it as a platform and it stays until you hit where it will disappear shortly after being hit, so basically you probably figured it out by now when Mario or Luigi and heck even princess peach hits it the block spews out a power up as usual and when they touch this it gives them said power up and it could be anything range from the mushroom making you bigger to like the hammer suit or something it could be any power up from the series, anyways that’s an idea I had for Mario and Luigi to make things a little more interesting but for this to work fully I guess you would have to remove the fireball from they’re moveset but do not worry because we can always have a substitute, Mario and Luigi’s hammer from paper Mario I think, also the question block could have a super rare chance to give the super hammer from Mario maker which kinda revamps the moveset and let’s Mario place breakable blocks like Steve except they don’t break over time, also the you can lose the power up after you take enough damage or you choose another one from the ? Block, anyway I just thought that would be a super sick rework for Mario and Luigi ( note: I just realized that the fireball move could have just been replaced with the ? Block lol but I was thinking of that as like a down special so eh ) I would still love a smash game with new characters ( especially Undertale ) ok bye
In addition to Ray Man Bring In Crash Bandicoot Spyro The Dragon Lara Croft From Tomb Raider Leon Or Jill From Resident Evil Klonoa Abe From Oddworld Gex The Gecko The Pyramid Head That plus Bring Back Snake, Cloud, And Kazuya To where we can finally have a proper version of Playstation All Stars
@@dylansmith5206 So...take a good game filled with good characters, and fill it with shitty characters from irrelevant games that have no business being in the game because they aren't Nintendo's characters, and aren't otherwise important enough to be worthwhile.
I want over 100 Chars in the next Smash. I would love to see a Stone Type Pokemon. I love the latest fire fight pokemon (incineroar) bit i think such a slow pokemon would better fit with a Stone Pokemon.
As for Sound Test, Sound Test is going to remain unchanged from BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE. The songs (for ULTIMATE DELUXE) are separated into these category of universes: 1. Super Smash Bros 2. Super Mario Bros 3. Mario Kart 4. Donkey Kong 5. The Legend of Zelda 6. Metroid 7. Yoshi's Island 8. Kirby 9. Star Fox 10. Pokémon 11. F-Zero 12. Mother 13. Fire Emblem 14. Game and Watch 15. Kid Icarus 16. Wario Ware 17. Pikmin 18. Animal Crossing 19. Wii Fit 20. Punch-Out!! 21. Xenoblade Chronicles 22. Splatoon 23. Metal Gear 24. Sonic 25. Mega Man 26. PAC-MAN 27. Street Fighter 28. FINAL FANTASY VII 29. Bayonetta 30. Castlevania 31. Persona 32. DRAGON QUEST 33. Banjo-Kazooie 34. FATAL FURY 35. ARMS 36. Minecraft 37. Tekken 38. KINGDOM HEARTS 39. Super Monkey Ball 40. TY the Tasmanian Tiger Out of these 40 universes, Super Monkey Ball and TY the Tasmanian Tiger are the only two new newcomer universes in this entire game. (NOTE: These are also the only two universes to not have multiple songs.) Also, besides Battlefield-SSBUD, Small Battlefield-SSBUD, Big Battlefield-SSBUD, and Final Destination-SSBUD (the successors to the ULTIMATE version of Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination), Super Monkey Ball and TY the Tasmanian Tiger are the only two universes to have a playable stage new to ULTIMATE DELUXE. Also all 111 retro stages (from the first 5 games) return. The ULTIMATE version of Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination are succeeded by the ULTIMATE DELUXE version of the said four stages. Aiai and TY the Tasmanian Tiger's stages (from the Super Monkey Ball and TY the Tasmanian Tiger universes) are going to be new stages. So that is 117 stages. Now the stages from SMASH 64 and MELEE return (including Sector Z, Planet Zebes, Mute City, the MELEE version of Mushroom Kingdom, and Poke Floats). That means there are going to be 123 playable stages. There will be no unlockable stages, no unlockable songs, and no DLC. These are all the sub categories for VAULT: (NOTE: This is the first installment to not have unique movies, other than just the "How to Play" movie. Because of this, the "How to Play" movie is the only movie campaign for "Archives".) 1. Sound Test 2. Trophies 3. Character Profile (NOTE: This is similar to how character profiles have descriptions in SMASH 64 and how normal character trophies have descriptions in MELEE, BRAWL, and both versions of SMASH 4.) 4. Final Smash Profile (NOTE: This is similar to how Final Smash trophies have descriptions in both BRAWL and the Wii U version of SMASH 4.) 5. Masterpieces 6. Records 7. Archives (How to Play) Here are the subcategories for OPTIONS/DASHBOARD 1. My Music 2. Smash (Rulesets, Custom Balance, Echo Fighters, Radar, and Team Mate) 3. Controls 4. Sound 5. Brightness 6. Online 7. Language (NOTE: Both NTSC and PAL versions include all languages including English, Japanese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.) Here are the subcategories for VS. MODE: 1. Smash (Time, Stock, Stamina, and Team Battle) 2. Special Smash (Custom Smash, Smashdown, and Super Sudden Death) 3. Tourney 4. Rotation (returns from BRAWL) And these are the subcategories for GAMES AND MORE (NOTE: Regular Match does return as a playable mode for "Games and More" in ULTIMATE DELUXE. However, Classic is once again the only 1 player mode campaign. That makes ULTIMATE DELUXE be the second installment to have one single player campaign mode for its "Regular Match" on "Games and More". That is, after the original Super Smash Bros. This is because All Star since ULTIMATE and now ULTIMATE DELUXE is succeeded by All Star Smash --a sub mode of Mob Smash. Plus, Adventure no longer returns beginning with ULTIMATE DELUXE, since the number of universes and playable characters are now big. In MELEE, it was Adventure. But MELEE's Adventure in the first two games BRAWL and ULTIMATE was succeeded by The Subspace Emissary and The World of Light. Now in ULTIMATE DELUXE, it no longer returns, due to the number of universes and playable characters. These unique bosses from Ultimate's World of Light instead appear as final bosses of the characters's Classic Mode routes. That is, occurring on Stage 7. With the exception of Galeem, all of Ultimate's World of Light bosses return. That is, but just for Stage 7, which is a final boss. That is, all the bosses including Master Hand, Crazy Hand, Giga Bowser, Galleom, Rathalos, Marx, Dracula, Ganon, and Dharkon. Rayquaza appears on Stage 7 of Meowth, Mew, and Riolu's Classic Mode. Rayquaza from BRAWL's Subspace Emissary returns. But he is the final boss of Meowth, Mew, and Riolu's Classic Mode route. He is the second boss from BRAWL's Subspace Emissary to appear in a future installment after BRAWL. Galleom returned in ULTIMATE and now ULTIMATE DELUXE too. But Rayquaza began with ULTIMATE DELUXE. Still, BRAWL's Tabuu, Smash 4's Master Core, and Ultimate's Galeem do not return as bosses. That is, since Adventure Mode does not return in ULTIMATE DELUXE. These unique bosses including Galleom, Rathalos, Marx, Dracula, Ganon, Dharkon, and now Rayquaza simply return on Stage 7 in Classic Mode routes. For both Smash 4's Master Core and Ultimate's Galeem, they instead appear as collectible trophies.) 1. Regular Match (Classic) 2. Training 3. Stadium (Target Smash, Board the Platforms, Mob Smash, and Race to the Finish) 4. Stage Builder 5. Challengers Approach All Smash modes in VS. Mode allow 8 players to join. (NOTE: Like in ULTIMATE, 8 player smash is again no longer its own separate mode.) Also, only one category of movies appears. And it is just the "How to Play" movie. (NOTE: OPTIONS is now known as OPTIONS/DASHBOARD. "Masterpiece" a sub mode of VAULT has the word "Switch 2's Nintendo Switch Online" in the demo conclusions instead of "Virtual Console". That is because future Nintendo home consoles since the Switch and now Switch 2 do not use the "Virtual Console" brand for retro games, but the brand "Nintendo Switch Online".) Final Smashes remain unchanged from ULTIMATE. In ULTIMATE DELUXE, Final Smashes are a single hit and the player returns to proper gameplay. Bowser remains Giga Bowser Punch, Wario remains Wario Man, and Little Mac remains Giga Mac Rush. (NOTE: Just like ULTIMATE, in ULTIMATE DELUXE, all full moveset transformation Final Smashes are removed. So like ULTIMATE, Giga Bowser, Wario Man, and Giga Mac no longer behave as a fully controllable character. They are all a single hit and the player returns to proper gameplay.) And yes, once again, Mario, C.Falcon, and Jigglypuff are the only 3 characters from Smash 64's "Original 12" who had their Final Smashes remain the same (Mario keeping his Mario Finale, C.Falcon keeping his Blue Falcon, and Jigglypuff keeping her Puff Up). Charizard and Lucario's Final Smashes are again back in their BRAWL's. However, Lucario he still transforms into Mega Lucario in the duration of Aura Storm. For the former's case Charizard, Charizard he still transforms into Mega Charizard X in the duration of Triple Finish (unlike both BRAWL and ULTIMATE). All other Final Smashes remain the same from ULTIMATE. In ULTIMATE DELUXE, the Sportsmate Fighters (which can only be created) share the same Final Smashes as Mii Fighters: 1. Mii Brawler/Sportsmate Brawler - Omega Blitz 2. Mii Gunner/Sportsmate Gunner - Full Blast 3. Mii Swordfighter/Sportsmate Swordfighter - Final Edge

And the CGI cutscenes and Snake codecs would be written and produced by animation studios Nintendo will pay for, not game devs

Buddy slandering Smash 4 like it didn't start the hype trailers for character reveals. Those trailers still go hard to this day
I don't get the Smash 4 slander in general overall. It seems like it's the "cool thing" to do these days, like people weren't praising it when it was the relevant Smash.
The greninja/charizard trailer is hardcore
Smash 4 is good, not entirely perfect, but it was a good smash game.
Yeah looking back, it wasn't that bad
if they make a another smash game they probably get rid of the 3rd party chars to make room for new chars.

Great call on two different Final Smash versions, and yes Raggins, of course we want to see a video going over every character in your roster of 40 + 15 third party + 14 dlc fighters.
i think the best (not realistic) route would be basically
-runs on an entirely new engine
-a story mode
-every character from ultimate but the move sets are completely redone
-dlc that spans way longer, like 4 passes
this is an outcome the most fans would be happy with, and i think it can be done if they give smash a really huge budget and have a ton of people work on it
I don't understand the Smash 4 hate, that game introduced the world to handheld smash which was awesome for the time. What was also really cool, and a rarely used feature, was you could actually sync your 3ds to the wii u and use it as a controller.

Waluigi, Spyro and Crash is all i want
Speaking of Donkey Kong
Please keep K Rool and Diddy
And add in these DK Newcomers to the roster
Dixie Kong (It's time for her to be a playable character in Smash Bros)
Funky Kong
Cranky Kong
The DK 64 Crew (Funky, Lanky, Tiny)
Lord Fredrik From Tropical Freeze
Stanley The Bugman From The 80's DK Arcade Games

@@dylansmith5206d-did you just reply in a smash related video WITHOUT MAKING A PASBR REFERENCE?
PASBR? I think you mean FAZBEAR...
Whoever the next devs for the new game is had better add Freddy and the team🗣️🔥🔥
@@shimakorosu no, I meant PlayStation all-stars battle royale
My perfect new Smash game is Ultimate 2 with
10 First Party ( Muddy Mole, Takamaru, Psyduck, Cranky Kong, Waddle Dee, Midna & Wolf Link, Porky, Samurai Goroh, Waluigi, and Geno)
10 Third Party (Spyro, Crash, Rayman, Bill Rizer, Ryu Hyabusa, Gilius from Goldenaxe, Dr Eggman, Arthur from Ghosts and Goblins, Earthworm Jim, Rash from Battletoads)
and 10 echoes (Mrs.
The Knight (Hollow Knight)
Hat Kid (A Hat in Time) maybe Bow Kid as an echo?
Ashley (Warioware)
Ori (Ori and The Blind Forest)
Octoling (Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion)
Toadette or Toad (Mario series) maybe have Toadette as an echo to Toad or costume idk
Susie (Kirby)
And lastly it probably won’t happen but a fighter I’d definitely like to see is maybe a character from the Don’t Starve series.
I want Reimu Hakurei, If she joins, I wouldn't care for anyone else they add.
Plus veterans would still be prioritized so not that many newcomers are going to be likely still
I think the best direction for smash is to release a game with 50 or so characters, then continually update it and add more over the course of several years. Basically a live service game
Yes yes yes!
As a Ganondorf main, I hope he can be higher tier in the future.
next game should be ultimate deluxe with all the dlcs in the base game and more newcomers, we dont need a shitty reboot with a smaller roster
Ganondorf better get his own move set and be like a magical type fighter, just being honest he’s always been my main since brawl he’s recent new style tears of kingdom suits him for the next smash game
Smash 4 introduced reveal trailers, Brawl had trailers but they were mainly just fancy gameplay where as Smash 4 had actual animation in the trailers
I think the next smash will focus on being a Nintendo all stars game like it used to be. I don't expect as many 3rd party characters.
0:00 How is Smash Nintendo’s most well known franchise? That would have to be Mario or Pokémon.
Mario and Pokémon are in Smash.
I would like for smash 6 be called Super Smash Bros. ULTRA
This is how you unlock the unlockable characters in the game (REMEMBER: There are 100 characters if counting Pokemon Trainer as one character AND if you do not count Mii Fighters or Sportsmate Fighters.):
1. Unlock Pauline - Complete the 100 Man Smash or play 25 VS. Mode matches. (NOTE: Pauline is guaranteed the first unlockable character to unlock in this game.)
2. Unlock Birdo - Complete Classic with Mario or play 50 VS. Mode matches. (NOTE: But not on Normal or Hard because you are going to get Mew or Riolu.)
(NOTE: The third party character TY the Tasmanian Tiger is guaranteed the last unlockable character you unlock in this game.)
Each unlockable character (if you do just VS. That is, N64 Dream Land and the MELEE stage Mushroom Kingdom II.)
These are all the stages that will take place for "Challenger Approaching" battles:
1. Pauline - 75M (BRAWL stage)
2. Birdo - Mushroom Kingdom II (MELEE stage)
3. Meowth - Pokemon Stadium 2 (BRAWL stage)
4. Mew - Pokemon Stadium 2 (BRAWL stage)
5. Riolu - Spear Pillar (BRAWL stage)
6. Medusa - Palutena's Temple (Smash 4 stage)
7. Viridi - Palutena's Temple (Smash 4 stage)
8. Aiai - Aiai's Stage (new in Ultimate Deluxe)
9. TY the Tasmanian Tiger - TY's Stage (new in Ultimate Deluxe)
The ULTIMATE DELUXE versions of Battlefield, Small Battlefield, Big Battlefield, and Final Destination (from the Super Smash Bros universe) are not considered home stages. So they are not fought on in "Challenger Approaching" battles.)
So yes, ULTIMATE DELUXE (like previous installments --starting from MELEE and having it as MELEE, BRAWL, SMASH 4, and ULTIMATE) it has a set unlockable character to be unlocked last. And therefore, TY the Tasmanian Tiger is the real last unlockable character.)
In ULTIMATE DELUXE, since it is back to having more starter characters than unlockables, all the unlockable characters have unique unlocking criteria to unlock them.
That is, BRAWL, ULTIMATE, and ULTIMATE DELUXE.)
I forgot to add this.
Great video! I really think ur combining information and humor together really well🎉❤
I honestly don't see that many 3rd party charachters going if their's a new smash game.

I want to be a Pikmin in the new smash game!
Characters i want:
Waluigi
Geno
Crash bandicoot
Rayman
I hope for story mode or character customization.
5:41 is so cute yet so menacing
Also this is the best smash video I've seen talking about smash 6 and the future of the franchise ty for that, I had lots of questions hopefully nintendo doesn’t screw it up or make it worse than ultimate if it ever comes out
But I higly doubt that it won't be as good, I don't think people should expect something like a Subspace Emissary 2 since Sakurai once said he was bothered by the game's cutscenes being uploaded to youtube
And yes, Mii Brawler, Mii Gunner, and Mii Swordfighter are going to be their own characters.)
Like the original Super Smash Bros, profile screens will return (returning the Super Smash Bros series to standard Smash series rules). And yes, all of them will have descriptions.
Trophies will only occur for doing a specific 1 player mode.
These are the trophies you will unlock:
CLASSIC
(NOTE: Smash 4's Master Core and Smash Ultimate's Galeem only appear as trophies in ULTIMATE DELUXE.)
That is, not even the Koopalings separate from Bowser Jr.)
MOB SMASH
1. Unlock the Fighting Mii Team Trophy - Complete the 100 Man Smash. (NOTE: Mii Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter are all included in this trophy.)
2. Unlock the Fighting Sportsmate Team Trophy - Defeat all characters in All Star Smash. (NOTE: Sportsmate Brawler, Gunner, and Swordfighter are all included in this trophy.)
4. Unlock the Rayquaza Trophy - Defeat 1 enemy in Cruel Smash.
5. Unlock the Tabuu Trophy - Defeat 5 enemies in Cruel Smash.
HOME RUN CONTEST
1. Unlock the Sandbag Trophy - Get 1,350 feet in the Home Run Contest with any character. (NOTE: This is similar to unlocking the N64 Yoshi's Island stage in MELEE.)
TARGET SMASH
1. Unlock the Target Trophy - Complete Target Smash on all 3 levels with all characters.
BOARD THE PLATFORMS
(NOTE: Like BRAWL's Classic Mode, Classic in ULTIMATE DELUXE only allows solo mode and no co-op play.)
All the modes for GAMES AND MORE are going to be:
REGULAR MATCH: Classic
STADIUM: Target Smash, Board the Platforms, Mob Smash, and Home Run Contest
TRAINING
STAGE BUILDER
CHALLENGERS APPROACH (NOTE: This occurs if the player fails the first time at unlocking an unlockable character.)
Once again, Event Match does not return. And All Star Smash, it is similar to the final co-op events from both BRAWL and SMASH 4.)
Like SMASH 64, the "Regular Match" mode has one subcategory.
(NOTE: That is, including continues restarting where the player left off and each character has their own Classic Mode routes.)
However, there are a few changes.
Level 1 has green targets and green platforms, Level 2 has blue targets and blue platforms, and Level 3 has purple targets and purple platforms.)
4. Bosses with HP are back to having traditional HP. (NOTE: On all 3 difficulties, all bosses have 300 HP, similar to the Master Hand boss fight in the SMASH 64 version of Classic.)
Honestly, your ideas for a reboot smash game is a good idea
And I agree, WOL had huge potential but "ultimately" failed
I think everyone should return for the next smash game because Nintendo already made amiibo figures for every fighter especially the ones that return in ultimate like pichu, ice climbers, wolf, snake, Pokémon trainer and Squritle and Ivysaur, young link, and the reason why world of light is not like subspace is because sakurai did not want to add cutscenes because of leakers, and I would really want Freddy Fazbear to be in smash 6
smash 4 had amibos and was the first time smash could be hand held and gave us 8 player smash and custom moves and for better or worse also rage

10 Third Party: Bomberman, Monster Hunter, Dante, Dr. Eggman, 2B, Rayman, Crash, Ryu Hayabusa, Chun Li, Frisk
3 Echoes: Impa, Shadow, Octoling

Spyro, Dante, Doom Slayer, Leon S. Kennedy, and Jak & Dexter. I have a longer list, but those are my top 5 characters... that aren't absolute pipe dreams.

What i would want is to add new DLC characters but also the ability to port DLC characters from Ultimate (if you have it)
Id be down if they made all the trophy assists chatacters and made the main cast trophies. It woild be sad to see everyone leave but would be neat as a party game.
Ultimate IS Smash 6.
Sakurai himself has said the 3DS and Wii U games are separate entries
I thought the 3DS and Wii U games counted as the same entries
I really can’t understand anyone thinking that anything BUT porting Ultimate is the best idea. People are going to be upset if characters get cut, we’ve already seen that, and assuming porting Ultimate is significantly easier than making a new game, just adding more content to that game will make the most people happy.
Heck, there’s nothing saying they can’t overhaul character movesets in an Ultimate port.
In ULTILATME DELUXE, All the Assist Trophy characters return (except Waluigi who is a playable character).
These are all the new Assist Trophy characters:
SUPER MARIO BROS:
1. King Boo
2. Koopa Troopa
3. Paratroopa
4. Goomba
5. Lakitu and Spinies (returning from BRAWL)
YOSHI'S ISLAND
1. Kamek (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island)
2. Toadies/Solo Toadies
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA
1. ReDead
2. Like-Like
3. Octorok
ICE CLIMBER
1. Polar Bear
2. Topi (NOTE: This enemy is a sea lion in the Japanese versions in all games. But it does not appear as a sea lion in the NTSC version, even if the Language option is set to Japanese. That is, similar to how they don't on MELEE's Adventure. In the Japanese only release they do, but not in NTSC versions.)
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
1. Dr. Eggman
SUPER MONKEY BALL
1. Dr. Bad Boon
TY THE TASMANIAN TIGER
1. Boss Cass
ULTIMATE DELUXE is the first installment to have Assist Trophy characters from the Yoshi's Island universe.
If sonic and pikmin aren't in the next smash game, not getting it
I wanna see the echo fighter system used way more, we could have had so many characters added to ultimate but they really didn't make all that many echo fighters
it should come back but it actually gives the extra characters actual movesets instead of a lazy copy and pasted moveset
I really want Shadow to be playable! Come on Sakurai
Me too, feel like he could be fun
Maybe Megaman too imo
I want rayman as a playable character
I love how people still assume a proper Subspace follow up after Sakurai stated it won't happen again, now that character trailers are a thing.
and the fact WoL was the result of Subspace being brought back....
What people should be asking for is a Smash Run sequel with more courses and online co-op.
Since Waluigi is now a playable character, Mario and Luigi no longer have their Wario or Waluigi based attires.
These are the alternate colors for Mario and Luigi:
1. That is because it was to replace his Waluigi based attire.), Builder Mario (again replaces his Wario based attire), and Wedding Mario (again replaces his Fire Mario color)
2. Luigi - Green (Default), Orange, Red, Light Blue, White, Builder Luigi (replaces his Waluigi based attire), Dark Blue, and Yellow
Here are the other alternate colors:
1. Link - Blue (Default), Green, Red, Gray, Indigo, Teal, White, and Lavender (returning from MELEE)
2. Young Link - Green (Default), Red, Dark Blue, White, Pink, Light Blue, Orange, and Lavender (returning from MELEE)
3. Toon Link - Green (Default), Red, Dark Blue, Purple, Brown, Outset Link, Gray, and Teal
4. Bowser - Default, Dry Bowser (replaces his black costume from MELEE and BRAWL), Yellow, Green, Gray, Orange, Red, and Blue
Also, because Dark Link is a playable character, Link, Young Link, and Toon Link no longer have their Dark Link based costumes. And her normal Samus alt. colors were paired with the Zero Suit Samus alt. colors.)
Because of this, Toad and Bowser Jr's alternate colors will look like this:
1. Toad - Standard (default and resembles a standard colored Toad), Red (resembles a Red Toad), Yellow (resembles a Yellow Toad), Blue (resembles a Blue Toad), Green (resembles a Green Toad), Purple (resembles a Purple Toad), Captain Toad, and Toadette (this is the only alt. color of Toad to not be a colored Toad)
2. Bowser Jr - Bowser Jr, Larry (1st Koopaling), Morton (2nd Koopaling), Wendy (3rd Koopaling), Iggy (4th Koopaling), Roy (5th Koopaling), Lemmy (6th Koopaling), and Ludwig (7th and final Koopaling)
Like the previous installments (SMASH 4 and ULTIMATE), in ULTIMATE DELUXE, there are two characters named Roy. And yes, the Switch 2 Lite is compatible with Switch Lite.)
Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Link, Young Link, and Toon Link are the six characters who had their alternate colors changed.
Here are the other things that ULTIMATE DELUXE shares with ULTIMATE:
In the real Pokemon universe, for Pikachu, while the female's tail ends in a heart, the male has the normal Pikachu lightning bolt tail.)
all I would need for a smash 6 is freddy fazbear 💀
4:37 this artwork goes hard cuz it has a ton of my favorites in it
Best thing to do is cut down and streamline. We don't need 100+ characters, we need 30-40 balanced ones. Revamp some older characters, give us a couple new ones, make the roster feel diverse with unique playstyles.
I would play the hell out of Knuckels, bomber man, and proto man
If RAYMAN isn't in this! ☠️
If sephiroth goes I'll cry
I've seen a lot of other peoples' hypothetical reboot/trimmed rosters and I'd like to see yours, especially since your "55 returning veterans" list isn't a strict _halving_ like most are.
Just call it “Smash MEGA” and make 6 clones for each character and add sans and papyrus. There now it’s perfect
The perfect Smash game came out in 2001.
Give me a Subspace Emissary 2 and I'm happy
What about Toad for smash 6, he’s been in every single Mario game
Hell yes, been saying this shoulda been here since melee
Toad must have been since Melee ir Brawl
@@B4N4N1NLoquenderoFN he should’ve been frl
He appears in Peach and Daisy’s neutral specials.
@@JoiningIrons3306 but like I mean a character you can play as
Dante and Vrigil as his echo fighter needs to happen
Yeah. If they do the echo stuff again, maybe some characters like Peppy, Slippy, Raichu, Octoling, or even Violet from Persona 5 Royale could be good echo fighters.
I would love a smash reboot, so many characters feel so weird and unupdated
Watching a previously Xbox exclusive space marine god fight a previously PS exclusive anime protagonist, who knows Goofy personally, and may or may not have posted his bail, would be an absolute dream.
We need more Sonic characters like Dr. Eggman, Knuckles, Amy, Tails, we also need more Punch Out characters
I think that a hard reset featuring around 40 different characters who all are revamped would be a great step forward
Block, anyway I just thought that would be a super sick rework for Mario and Luigi
( note: I just realized that the fireball move could have just been replaced with the ? Block lol but I was thinking of that as like a down special so eh ) I would still love a smash game with new characters ( especially Undertale ) ok bye
I want, no, I NEED to see Scorpion kicking Ridley in the stomach into Kratos who body slams Ray Man and Ridley off stage.
In addition to Ray Man
Bring In Crash Bandicoot
Spyro The Dragon
Lara Croft From Tomb Raider
Leon Or Jill From Resident Evil
Klonoa
Abe From Oddworld
Gex The Gecko
The Pyramid Head
That plus Bring Back Snake, Cloud, And Kazuya
To where we can finally have a proper version of Playstation All Stars
@@dylansmith5206 So...take a good game filled with good characters, and fill it with shitty characters from irrelevant games that have no business being in the game because they aren't Nintendo's characters, and aren't otherwise important enough to be worthwhile.
Let's add Goku to the mix.
The songs (for ULTIMATE DELUXE) are separated into these category of universes:
1. Super Smash Bros
2. Super Mario Bros
3. Mario Kart
4. Donkey Kong
5. The Legend of Zelda
6. Metroid
7. Yoshi's Island
8. Kirby
9. Star Fox
10. Pokémon
11. F-Zero
12. Mother
13. Fire Emblem
14. Game and Watch
15. Kid Icarus
16. Wario Ware
17. Pikmin
18. Animal Crossing
19. Wii Fit
20. Punch-Out!!
21. Xenoblade Chronicles
22. Splatoon
23. Metal Gear
24. Sonic
25. Mega Man
26. PAC-MAN
27. Street Fighter
28. FINAL FANTASY VII
29. Bayonetta
30. Castlevania
31. Persona
32. DRAGON QUEST
33. Banjo-Kazooie
34. FATAL FURY
35. ARMS
36. Minecraft
37. Tekken
38. KINGDOM HEARTS
39. Super Monkey Ball
40. TY the Tasmanian Tiger
Out of these 40 universes, Super Monkey Ball and TY the Tasmanian Tiger are the only two new newcomer universes in this entire game.
These are all the sub categories for VAULT:
(NOTE: This is the first installment to not have unique movies, other than just the "How to Play" movie. Because of this, the "How to Play" movie is the only movie campaign for "Archives".)
1. Sound Test
2. Trophies
3. Character Profile (NOTE: This is similar to how character profiles have descriptions in SMASH 64 and how normal character trophies have descriptions in MELEE, BRAWL, and both versions of SMASH 4.)
4. Final Smash Profile (NOTE: This is similar to how Final Smash trophies have descriptions in both BRAWL and the Wii U version of SMASH 4.)
5. Masterpieces
6. Records
7. Archives (How to Play)
Here are the subcategories for OPTIONS/DASHBOARD
1. My Music
2. Smash (Rulesets, Custom Balance, Echo Fighters, Radar, and Team Mate)
3. Controls
4. Sound
5. Brightness
6. Online
7. Language (NOTE: Both NTSC and PAL versions include all languages including English, Japanese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.)
Here are the subcategories for VS. MODE:
1. Smash (Time, Stock, Stamina, and Team Battle)
2. Special Smash (Custom Smash, Smashdown, and Super Sudden Death)
3. Tourney
4. Rotation (returns from BRAWL)
And these are the subcategories for GAMES AND MORE
(NOTE: Regular Match does return as a playable mode for "Games and More" in ULTIMATE DELUXE. For both Smash 4's Master Core and Ultimate's Galeem, they instead appear as collectible trophies.)
1. Regular Match (Classic)
2. Training
3. Stadium (Target Smash, Board the Platforms, Mob Smash, and Race to the Finish)
4. Stage Builder
5. Challengers Approach
All Smash modes in VS. That is because future Nintendo home consoles since the Switch and now Switch 2 do not use the "Virtual Console" brand for retro games, but the brand "Nintendo Switch Online".)
Final Smashes remain unchanged from ULTIMATE.
In ULTIMATE DELUXE, the Sportsmate Fighters (which can only be created) share the same Final Smashes as Mii Fighters:
1. Mii Brawler/Sportsmate Brawler - Omega Blitz
2. Mii Gunner/Sportsmate Gunner - Full Blast
3. Mii Swordfighter/Sportsmate Swordfighter - Final Edge
