The Midwest FurFest 2023 Experience: Day 1 (Registration & Line con)

- I’m sure some people are surprised to see this video here. It’s a long story, and It’s taken me a while to build up the courage to open up about this: I’m a furry. This is not my first time going to a furry con as I’ve visited my friend (Matt) at the one in the DFW area for the past few years, but this is my first time getting to attend one. I thought I’d vlog our MFF adventures for all to see since it was a blast! I’ll have to come back sometime. Stay tuned for days 2 and 3, and don’t be surprised to see more content like this in the not-too-distant future, but perhaps on a new channel ;)
As for how everything went that day, it was mostly registration; therefore, not much was open yet. Upon arrival at the con, things were already pretty crazy, and although I found it a little intimidating and perhaps a bit overwhelming at first, I quickly got into the groove of things and had a good time. Although an hour and 44 minutes may sound ready and long, given over 9000 people registered on the first day, and the fact there were probably close to 2000 people in the room when we arrived, the fact they moved everyone through in an average of an hour and 45 minutes is actually quite impressive. After registration, we quickly explored the hotel and con center and the expansive tunnel/sky bridge network that links most major hotels. Since it was getting somewhat late and with the con still preparing for the next day, we decided it was time to head back to the hotel to prepare for the big next day.

Even though I’m not a Furry, I always found the “FurCons” Fursuit Conventions cool in My personal opinion. (It takes a lot of courage to open up about any topic that You’re interested in and knowing that it can get judged for by ignorance in Our society. If anyone think You’re weird for being a “furry,” They don’t fully understand You.) This was a fun little vlog, even though this is day 1/3 of the videos from the Con. Cant wait to see more!
