Now and Then is a great shop. I lived in Waterloo around 1998/99-2003 and loved digging through the cheap bins. There was a great record shop right there as well. Great story Chycho!

Great story! You were lucky to have had such a positive interaction with an obvious champion of comics. I began collecting comics in 1985 and my local comic book store was ran by a burnt out, unscrupulous tyrant.
Ohhhh, unfortunately, I've come across many of those as well. They give comics a bad rep :(

Happy new year. I love these story type vids. I know they are a million miles away from the original comic stories, but what are your thoughts on the various Spider-Man films... homecoming in particular.

I didn't mind it, thought it was fun. I know a lot of people hate on it because it completely re-wrote a lot of the origin of Spider-man, put a lot of the credit on Iron-man, but as long as you don't go in their with the eyes of a purest, you'll enjoy it.

Hey Loki, no worries about missing the session, there will be many more. As for the next one, I haven't scheduled one yet. I'm waiting until I get the usb hub and the mic. Once I get them and play around with them for a bit I'll set up an event.
Aside from that, I might/will be doing some random unannounced live streams as well. I sort of want to show what I do behind the scenes to make these videos, and maybe do a live stream while making an ASMR/math/comic book video... overlap things, and have a little fun :)

One price guide has a Near Mint (9.4) at $60,000 and a Very Fine (8.0) at $25,000... the one I was holding was somewhere between these.... as well, I think you would be very lucky to find an 8.0 copy for $25,000, it would go for higher if you could find one.

The only major argument I personally have against is it could potentially make assisted suicide a 'Plan B' for people suffering severe mental illnesses, like depression, somewhat degrading the meaning of a human life.

"biggest"?.... i'm guessing you mean most expensive, that would probably be Daredevil #1 in mid grade... expensive for me anyway, I bought it for around $400 a while ago.
