    The first album I ever owned was the soundtrack to Star Wars. I would listen to it for hours on end, and be transported to that galaxy far, far away, and imagine my own adventures in that world. I was a lonely child, with not many friends, but for a short while, when I closed my eyes and listened to that music, my spirit soared and I was happy.

    Great video Chycho, feels so long ago now since I saw your video on that crystal and mineral collection. And you're still showing us more collections! I think the most relaxing thing for me is just listening to people talk about things they are passionate about like collections, hobbies etc

    Can't believe how far your channel has come since I first followed you, I believe you had about 3,000 subscribers. The first video I watched from you was the comic haul video when you bought the DareDevil lot! I don't say much but Im always watching your videos, amazing content. Keep it up!

    chycho is one of those hard to find diamonds in a pile of rocks. i remember when i subbed back when he was showing us that math game where you have to get all 100 in their own spot but sticking with a patter. glad i subscribed

    Just watched this. Came up in my feed (6 years late).
    Year of the Cat is one of my favourites songs. From what I read Al Stewart is a folk musician but that song and album broke into the popular charts. Time Passages is another great song of his too.
    There’s an interview with Al on censortube where he talks about the lyrics.

      @@chycho I think that’s why you don’t hear a lot about him in mainstream music as he returned to folk music in later albums.
      The lyrics to YotC really do take you to another place and time. Pure escapism.

    Breakfast in America is one of my favorite albums too! Have you listened to Tame Impala? Kevin Parker changed my life, I really dig his music. His stuff is newer, but has major old-school influences with pristine production and incredible ingenuity.

      @@chycho the amazing thing about tame impala is that one guy creates the music. He plays all the instruments, sings and produces all the tracks.

    My understanding is that Cheap Trick were doing OK back in the day. Then it was pointed out that they were, dare I say it, big in Japan, so over they went, and produced one of the great live albums. I think the Budokan is a Sumo wrestling venue usually.

    I recently got into vinyl. And of course your are into vinyl too lol.
    With a great taste for music too btw. Im surprised no Hendrix or Iron Maiden though.

      Those would be great to have and add to the collection. I did have them on tape and I have seen Maiden live as well way way back in the early /mid 80's... fun show to say the least.

      It's rather difficult to get a hold on on vinyl. There are a lot of unofficial pressings on colored vinyl and it was released at a time where interest in vinyl was lukewarm. Glad i've got my copy ! www.discogs.com/System-Of-A-Down-Toxicity/release/417556

      I just checked ebay and those early SOD albums are pretty expensive, YIKES! I'll have to keep my eye out for some deals... and the different color of LP's for Toxicity are crazy cool, I wonder if they are as good as the original (I'm assuming that's the black LP).

      Well, that's the problem with those unofficial ones, in the best case they are sourced from cd and in the worst case from MP3. The original is black indeed.

    Hey Chycho if you like AC/DC check out Airbourne man they are the modern incarnation although they do have their own sound. They're also Australian but they're heavily influenced by them. A little faster tempo but you might dig them. Cheers bro.

      I've been thinking about it and now that I'm more comfortable with live streaming I'm going to put all the games into one location (I have to do some searching and organizing) and we'll do a live stream of the videos games. I might even be able to get it done in the next set of live streams, probably in a couple of week, fingers crossed. A live stream where we talk about video games. Sound good?

      Nine Inch Nails, Death Grips, Mayhem (don't like these guys that much though), and King Crimson. If you meant lyrical matter, then the Roger Waters led era of Pink Floyd would fit here as well.
