The first album I ever owned was the soundtrack to Star Wars. I would listen to it for hours on end, and be transported to that galaxy far, far away, and imagine my own adventures in that world. I was a lonely child, with not many friends, but for a short while, when I closed my eyes and listened to that music, my spirit soared and I was happy.
The wind whistling in the back ground stops for just long enough for you to think it’s gone, then it comes right back hahaha. Cheers for another amaze stream, Chycho.
Great video Chycho, feels so long ago now since I saw your video on that crystal and mineral collection. And you're still showing us more collections! I think the most relaxing thing for me is just listening to people talk about things they are passionate about like collections, hobbies etc
For me as well, rc, love listening to people share or talk about something they are passionate about, basically what the essence of the internet is for me.
Can't believe how far your channel has come since I first followed you, I believe you had about 3,000 subscribers. The first video I watched from you was the comic haul video when you bought the DareDevil lot! I don't say much but Im always watching your videos, amazing content. Keep it up!
Me either, Safe, what a fun ride... and that first comic haul video will always be one of my favorites, and not just because it was a great haul :) By the way, thanks for sticking around :))
chycho is one of those hard to find diamonds in a pile of rocks. i remember when i subbed back when he was showing us that math game where you have to get all 100 in their own spot but sticking with a patter. glad i subscribed
Thanks for the love, Chase... and a heads up, you're going to love the next set of live streams, two days are going to be dedicated to playing the 10 x 10 puzzle game... I should have an announcement out on Twitch today and the video uploaded to RUclips by tomorrow with the specifics :)
Just finding this now, happy to have found this stream. U2 is my favourite band so happy to see it here ! Edit: as a drummer myself , sunday bloody sunday is my absolute favorite to play!
Queen deserve another hard look. That's a very diverse discography filled with absolute treasure. Also Radiohead's Ok Computer and Metalllica's Kill Em All...
Just watched this. Came up in my feed (6 years late). Year of the Cat is one of my favourites songs. From what I read Al Stewart is a folk musician but that song and album broke into the popular charts. Time Passages is another great song of his too. There’s an interview with Al on censortube where he talks about the lyrics.
@@chycho I think that’s why you don’t hear a lot about him in mainstream music as he returned to folk music in later albums. The lyrics to YotC really do take you to another place and time. Pure escapism.
@@dancingvirgil ...and what a nice guy he seems, so happy and chill, very humble. First time seeing an interview with him, thanks for pointing me in that direction.
Hey Chycho! I wanted to let you know that I just picked up a copy of Shadow Dancing because of this video. I agree that it is indeed a fantastic album!
Breakfast in America is one of my favorite albums too! Have you listened to Tame Impala? Kevin Parker changed my life, I really dig his music. His stuff is newer, but has major old-school influences with pristine production and incredible ingenuity.
My understanding is that Cheap Trick were doing OK back in the day. Then it was pointed out that they were, dare I say it, big in Japan, so over they went, and produced one of the great live albums. I think the Budokan is a Sumo wrestling venue usually.
haha... I love that movie, so fun... when the animals all surround Tom Jones towards the end of the movie (if I remember correctly), it was just pure awesomeness :)
I recently got into vinyl. And of course your are into vinyl too lol. With a great taste for music too btw. Im surprised no Hendrix or Iron Maiden though.
Those would be great to have and add to the collection. I did have them on tape and I have seen Maiden live as well way way back in the early /mid 80's... fun show to say the least.
It's rather difficult to get a hold on on vinyl. There are a lot of unofficial pressings on colored vinyl and it was released at a time where interest in vinyl was lukewarm. Glad i've got my copy ! www.discogs.com/System-Of-A-Down-Toxicity/release/417556
I just checked ebay and those early SOD albums are pretty expensive, YIKES! I'll have to keep my eye out for some deals... and the different color of LP's for Toxicity are crazy cool, I wonder if they are as good as the original (I'm assuming that's the black LP).
Well, that's the problem with those unofficial ones, in the best case they are sourced from cd and in the worst case from MP3. The original is black indeed.
Hey Chycho if you like AC/DC check out Airbourne man they are the modern incarnation although they do have their own sound. They're also Australian but they're heavily influenced by them. A little faster tempo but you might dig them. Cheers bro.
I've been thinking about it and now that I'm more comfortable with live streaming I'm going to put all the games into one location (I have to do some searching and organizing) and we'll do a live stream of the videos games. I might even be able to get it done in the next set of live streams, probably in a couple of week, fingers crossed. A live stream where we talk about video games. Sound good?
Nine Inch Nails, Death Grips, Mayhem (don't like these guys that much though), and King Crimson. If you meant lyrical matter, then the Roger Waters led era of Pink Floyd would fit here as well. Edit: Gorillaz as well.
No worries, Pieter, we're going to be doing a lot more and I'll try and make sure I set it up so it's a way more convenient time for you guys in Europe, promise :)
Chycho is the best. It's nice to have an intimate fan base with a RUclips channel. I love all Chycho does. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the recommendation, brother. I just checked out one of their tracks, great sounds :)
@@chycho the amazing thing about tame impala is that one guy creates the music. He plays all the instruments, sings and produces all the tracks.

Yup, Cheap Trick did have a pretty hardcore following back in the day. Very nice sound.
I remember Tom Jones was in the movie Mars Attacks haha...very random casting for that film.

Would be awesome, so far i'm loving my experience on Twitch. What a great platform, what a great community.
:-) Just played my first pressing of Toxicity yesterday. Amazing stuff.
Oh hell ya! I have to get some System of a Down in my collection. Would love to give all of their albums a spin. So much power in their music.

Okay, good to know, so stay away from the colored LP's. Why would people drop so much money on an LP sourced from CD's/MP3's? Weird!
Fantastic
Watching on youtube now what i missed last night :-)

Death Metal comes to mind, and political Hip Hop.
