I am having trouble feeding the newborn kitten, he squirms and squirms and squirms, Whatever I do, he refuses it, I can only trick squirt the milk on its tongue from the side but some spills out of its mouth .... I found that newborn kitten abandoned in front of my house, I felt bad, for once I wanted to try and save one. and yes it squirted some milk out of its nose. this kitten Squirms all around, even if i wrap it in towel, it is like so hellbent of not getting fed. I checked all guides how to feed it properly but it just squirms, even when I keep it warm. I am surprised the kitten survived 3 days now. and yes I always wipe its behind before feeding it but I may feed it first then wipe it
Wrap them snuggly like a “papoose”, OR like a “burrito”. Use something like a wash cloth, small towel OR pillowcase. While having kitten facing you in 1 hand feed them w/syringe in other hand. Make sure kitten is mostly in upright position, (like a kid in a high chair). DO NOT lay kitten on it’s back while feeding like human baby OR it will choke & could die. Place syringe in corner of mouth slightly sideways. DO NOT aim straight down throat as that will choke them & they could die that way. SLOWLY give kitten required amount of formula, stopping periodically to let kitten swallow. Wipe mouth & face from time to time w/damp warm cloth & @ the end of feeding. This is what the mother does. It keeps formula out of nose, etc. & the kitten enjoys it. Then remember to stimulate them w/another warm cloth near the genitals to encourage urinating &/OR defecating. 😻

You should give the cat alot more attention then you was doing try to calm it down by touching its spot that they like the most maybe try also to play with them with either a toy that moves or lazer (fake lazer) or the cat favorite toy

I found a newborn kitten abandoned by its mother and it cries literally every 1 hour and a half for food..yesterday was the first day i started with 2 ml and he was crying every half hour for food..now i am feeding him 5ml every one hour and a half..is it too much??? He is sucking the milk on his own from the syringe i just press a bit in the start and when he realises it is milk he continues and he drinks it so fast..is this wrong? Please help
The way he drinks is ok) The amount though should depend on his weight as well as there should be a schedule. There is a weight/age grid which specifies how many times a kitten should be fed. But usually it's every 2-3 hours till the kitten is 2w old.
Me personally I fed my new born a lot, she’s pretty greedy , and then I spread the covers and let her tire out running around (supervised). Then I put her back in her carrier which she associates with her bed and eventually she passes out until her next feeding time. She sleeps for long periods if you we feed her a lot

It's almost the same as bottle feeding puppies I guess. Keep the kitten warm, feed it regularly, at least every 2-3 hours and massage its belly to make it pee and poop. these are the main steps. You can put her back in the nest again and don't let your cat leave the room with the nest

Dear expert, i gave my kitten a box to stay in in my wet kitchen, then flies come disturb, so I use spicy ointment (for human headache type) wet my hand and put drops and touch the box here and there to make smell to frighten the flies, while doing that the kitten came smell my finger and the spicy ointment contacted its tongue and nose, so it keeps licking and I use water to wash also no use. the same hour it also drink the milk which I squeeze a little bit onion into the milk. and let it try dog food, chicken luncheon meat. Pet Vet are close due to MCO. it was then 2 hours later it started to vomit while milk, urinate like 3 to 4 times, and diarrhea 2 times. I thought it was over. this morning its woke up, no more flu, no more huge stomach, appetite lost a bit. and it keeps meowing, so I took it to the balcony, it heard bird sound and sees sunlight and it plays around, and start licking itself, and it chosen a sunlight hot spot and sleeping..... I think it is 3 weeks old when a staff in a shop give it to me. I cancel the nipple order as it knows who to lick milk from a plate COOL

You should feed her, make her poop and pee and keep her warm.
