- HI my name is Lucia, welcome to my channel.
please SUBCRIBE and follow me on my Allotment Journey.
I FINALLY GOT ROUND TO MAKING NETTLE FERTILISER WHICH I HAVE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT,NOT SURE I HAVE DONE IT RIGHT.....BUT IT'S ALL ABOUT LEARNING AND GIVING THINGS A GO.
my plot of 10 meters x 14 meters is based in Buckinghamshire, grow zone 7.
This is my first full growing year on the plot, last year I started a lot later in the year due to still getting beds in and the plot ready and cleared for growing.

Amazon has your replacement covers for your size greenhouse from $37 to $44. (Us $) The clear is very nice, but I bought the green one that has fibers weaved in and I have used it for 7 years and not a single tear. I keep my eye on them at Amazon.....JUST IN CASE :)
I’ve seen some on there, thank you. The weather here again is just non stop rain…..so keeping me behind.
Hi just subbed my brother just stuck yams in a old water butt they are good
Is this regarding growing the sweet potato?
Yes not of home made compost and stick it in
@@RichardTaylorgardening did he grow outside or under cover? And where is he based? Sorry so many questions!🤦🏻♀️ but I’d really like to see if I can get them to grow for me.🤞🏼
@@LuciasAllotmentJourney outside in my garden in sunny Sheffield some people sprout in a cup of water with cocktail sticks through to hold the potatoes upright DWW Chanel has a master class on this
I tried sweat potatoes last year and they just didn't grow will probably try again next year. Your plot looks great. New sub too
Thank you for the sub and the message . Did you grow them outside or in a greenhouse?
@@LuciasAllotmentJourney I tried doing it in the greenhouse but nothing happened no growth whatsoever not sure what I done wrong
@@JacobsonFamilyAllotmentI was thinking of trying to grow the plant I have in a grow bag, and then keep it as warm as I can in the greenhouse. And then hope 😂
