It’s extremely faithful to the original. It adds in my opinion. If things go right, physiological horror is back. Genuinely a fantastic game. It won’t replace the original in my opinion, but it is one of the best horror games and best remakes of any game. I give it a very solid 9/10. I am a true fan of the original game, I’ve played it countless times, and I plan to do the same with this game
@@ElfordGameson Well yeah. but what about the visual difference, why is shadows so demanding when i tried Low to medium to high it boosted performance to 35% while on medium and high, it looked visually the same. why is that?
I thought I'd enjoy Alan Wake 2, and I didn't, i want to enjoy this, but I can't. I think I'm burnt out on these kinds of games. After Dead Space Remake, and RE4 Remake. I'm just waiting around to play Indiana Jones honestly lol. Nothing seems interesting anyway.

you have to enable it from the config files its not released yet so they will maybe add it after the proper release

yes. shadows on "low" gives more fps than on "High"

@@extremegames4858 depends on the area, in the apartment complex where you can save ur game it is very stuttery but other places, very smooth
