The oil filter removal. Once you loosen the filter use a Solo drinking cup to slide under the oil filter and then squeeze to unscrew it. It saves your arm being coated in oil 🙌

That's a very concise video on how to change the oil in my new cx-5. Well done and thank you.I appreciate that you explained all details and your commitment to safety. All the best

That 2.5 liter Mazda engine has a nice "purr" sound to it.
This is the brand, make and model I want...finally! After a couple or three years of detail research on several SUV'S to eventually decided on the CX-5 model.

Go for it. I bought my wife a CX-5 and she is in love with it. If we are going somewhere together, she insists on driving and making me her passenger. Great car. I like it better than my 2017 Camry SE, and that’s saying a lot.

someone said MAZDA does fake engines noises with the cx5, just like they do with EV cars, I cant confirm it though

Go sideway when you pour the new oil to let the air enter easely....

Great video! Does your Mazda have the cylinder deactivation feature? Some owners have issues with the engine already

Did you add any additive in the old oil ? It looks as liquid as water...

      No, I didn't. Its 0W-20 Pennzoil Ultra, it's thin.

@@jeffyoung6222you don’t need to add any additives to that oil…it already has a pretty robust additive package. I use this oil during the winter because of its extreme temperature performance and detergent package, along with a Purolator Boss filter. 👍🏼

I live in Canada and do the same thing! 0W20 is great oil when you cranking the car up at -18 to -40C/F I also use WIX premium cartridge filters on my 13Camry @@carlovanrijk4039

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is fine the way it is. I go with 0W20 in the winter, and 5W20 in the summer.

That oil looks like it has hardly any miles on it.
