    I actually am old school. I ran a D10R on a coal pile for one year and it had same steering... did not like it.. prefer the old D9L D8L And D10 with the steer levers to the left and shift right underneath.. i found it much easier and more precise steering
    ... to each their own... you cant beat CATS in any fashion.. they just run and run and run... love em all

    GOOID video. Sure am glad the wrist shift was canned. That is a killer if you have arthur in your hands. Like the single levers a lot better and no throttle lever. Must've gone with the dial as on other Cats. Would be a sweet ride. Looks like it has good leg room. Thanks, Pal! A-PLUS!

    Are you sure the 11R had the same horsepower as the 11N? Wasn't the 11N 770 hp, and the 11R 850 hp?

    • @PAmining
      @PAmining  3 года назад +2

      If you pay attention in the video, I explained that the 11R was introduced with the same engine and horsepower rating as the 11N in 1996. The 11R CD was introduced 6 months later and featured the improved 3508B with 850hp. The standard D11R didn't receive this engine and power increase until 1997.

    I've had the opportunity to run a N-series, R-series, and the newer T-series. I'd gotta say the R series definitely is the best IMO. The weight, balance and power of a N but
    the cab is designed almost like the T series.p
