Neither one of these dozer operators know how to run those machines correctly. They are not using the slot dozing technique and they’re pushing from the back to the front. That’s your first clue they don’t know what they’re doing.
The Komatsu 475-8 Is new..but the Cat Is old...Is R series.I'd be curious to sse the Cat D11 Next Gen...Komatsu Is playing dirty ,too easy like this😂😂😂🙈🙈
The old Cat Is going the same as the new Komatsu ...so Beast what ???..Open your eyes ,before writing nosense...The Cat R series Is from 2005/06 and the Komatsu 8 series Is from 2018/19 ...So 16 Years difference .I would say the Beast Is the Cat!

Age has nothing to do with peformance. Maintenance has. The Cat will have less of the stupid engine restrictions than the modern engines therefore having more power at the tracks than the Komatsu i would imagine. The Cat looks like it is pushing more quantity and doing a better job of keeping the quantity consistent. The ripping isn't to be compared as the rock depths are completely different on each pull. I don't see any difference in these 2 machines regarding performance as so many variables involved that can easily look like an advantage to one or the other. You will either be a Cat guy or a Komatsu guy.
è migliore a spingere.
Eppure... Ho il tuo stesso problema ahimè!

For the past 30 years, I've bought nothing but CATs as they simply last longer and much better value longterm. I can get one or two rebuilt's out of my D10's although I"m moving to D9's now. I don't have to disassemble them to move them from site to site. To understand what I'm talking about on value, just search on RUclips for a Komatsu rebuild as you won't find any as they are not made to be rebuilt. They are disposable compared to the CATs.
A machine is only as good as the operator. The cat operator is pulling the steering clutches while pushing.🤢 He also has his blade pitch too far ahead. 😰. A D11R will push anything you put in front of it, if you know what you're doing. The D11t is scrap metal imo. They lightened it up 50,000 lbs, geared it up & cut the hp to 800. The d11t wont push a blade full of dirt. It will spin out & track hop. I understand WHY cat did that. The D11R could be smashed/ ripped apart with a bad operator. But cat ruined the D11 with the T model. There will never be another dozer built as good as the D11R was. The komatsu 375 & 475 never impressed me at all. They were broke down constantly. My buddy nicknamed the 375 stevie wonder & the 475 ray Charles, because he said the S.O.B. who bought them was blind. 😂😂 😂 We each put over 20,000 hours on our D11Rs. They hardly ever broke down, and seen most down time for blade faces & tracks.
I agree, the D10R was the same way, it was a total animal and never gave us much trouble with maintenance problems. I always operated D10’s and the last 10R I operated had its 3rd & last certified rebuild at 58,000 frame hrs and Cat said no more because the frame was wore out and not rebuildable any more.
@bigjohnson4983 about 2000. I went for 2 weeks to another job to run a new D10R for a guy on vacation. I agree. That thing was a complete animal for a D10. And I ran an old D10xl and a 10n. The 10xl was precursor to the d11n, it had a v12. But I still think that new D10R I ran would bury it. You actually had to watch on the 10R that a big rock didnt come back over the blades rock guard into the radiator. I never seen a 10 that could push like that 10R. It had the semi U, but also had the sides built out. And it would handle EVERY yard you could get in front of it.. Just one Helluva machine. So much so, I was on an nice 11n at the time (they were kinda slugish). I offered to take the 10R on nights, but my foreman's said no, he needed me back.. He put me on a New D11R a couple weeks after I came back. He wasnt certain our job was getting it, so he didnt say anything. 😎 That was a match made in heaven for me. 😁 I spent 5 years, 3 blade faces & 2 sets of tracks on a D11R 7pz series 2001. 12 hour shifts 5 & 6 days a week. I very quickly came to love the D11R. Been my favorite ever since. I cant hear Jack shit outta my left ear now, the 11R has a helluva torque whine, but it was worth it. 😎
@@riftraft2015 we had several D10 dozers over the years and we had one of the original D9L that was predecessor to the D10 and we had a couple of 10N’s and at the end before I retired we had 3-D10R’s with 1 of them not making enough power to get out of its own way then the second one ran and pushed pretty hard but the one I had was the animal, we had larger blades on the 2 better machines and a standard blade on the dog but we had to raise the radiator guard on my dozer to keep material out of the grill, when I retired it was about midway thru on its last overhaul and I sure do miss it. I’ve been retired since 3/21 and I heard that the track machines are pretty much parked now and they just use 834’s & 844’s now days.
This show that the D 11 better dozer than D475 . D475 weighs more than the D 11 but you see it push more dirty and stronger machine than better horse power and D 11 weighs 10-15 tons less than D475 when it comes to Dozer Caterpillars has the best dozer money could buy

That D11 has a blown manifold gasket.
The difference is you’ll be able to get twice as many hours on the d11 than the 475 by the end of the machines life.
Por fin un duelo de gigantes. Al Komatsu le apuesto
The Cat looks, sounds, and pushes better than any Komatsu. That D11 probably has twice as many hours on it and still makes the D475 look like a joke.
Video fantastico. Sono andato a vederli anche io. Ma non lavoravano. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Che musica
They need to tighten up the tracks on the D11 Cat Dozer the tracks are steady jumping good way to tear up the sprockets!

Meglio il caterpillar d10 ? Più veloce nel movimento?

soooo, lets see how the battery powered green version compares.
I'm surprised the Komatsu stayed running long enough to take the video.
The newer Komatsu dozers are more reliable than the older models

because komatsu is built to last , cat needs more repairs and the castings on cat is junk
My local komatsu dealer had 2 475 rebuilds a few years ago , machines were in as new condition .
Buy anthing new from cat and it will rust so fast
