So it's always been a testament to me that no matter how many really good bands cover this song, No One has ever been able to capture the feel of it. From the strumming pattern to the hitches to the tone and inflexion of the lines... no one does this song justice.

It's because both Pegboy and Rise Against are from Chicago. My goodness, I love this song, but I have to say the Pegboy version is the best, and the Rise Against version (found elsewhere on youtube) is second best. I'm not a big fan of this version.
This was the second highlight of the Riot Fest, first would have to be Slapstick. I was going to see Pegboy at Congress, but the acoustics in that building are terrible. They have to crank it up, and most of the sound is lost in the dome.
HWM actually played it better than pegboy. i saw pegboy, and it was just disappointing. like they're awesome, and really classic, but they just didn't sound good.

The song is Strong Reaction. It's a cover of a Pegboy song. Rise Against has a cover of this song which is one reason why Tim did this.
I really like how different Tim's voice is. It doesn't have the emotion of the original but his voice suits the cover.
I want studio version of this by Rise Against!

rode by Congress a few weeks ago and its wrapped in scaffolding. Maybe they can fix the inside, too.
