Hot Water Music performing Trusty Chords, with Bouncing Souls and Dave Hause, live at Metro Theatre in Sydney on 10 December 2010, exclusively on Moshcam.
Hot Water Music is a punk rock band from Gainesville, Florida. The members of the band are Chuck Ragan, Chris Wollard, Jason Black, and George Rebelo. HWM first formed in 1993. In 1996, after releasing two EPs and a full-length album, the band briefly disbanded, but soon reformed, announcing their continuation as Hot Water Music at the concert recorded for Live at the Hardback. In late 2005, Hot Water Music stated they were going on a hiatus following Chuck Ragan's departure to care for his family. On May 13, 2006 however, the hiatus became permanent and Hot Water Music officially disbanded. The three remaining members have started a new project, The Draft, whose first album, In a Million Pieces, was released on September 12, 2006. Chuck Ragan also continues with a more low-key music career, releasing material through No Idea Records and Side One Dummy Records. He is currently signed to the latter.

The best part is looking at Dave and knowing he probably would not exist as he is without this song, or the Souls.

He’s good. Chuck and Chris are better though. But the intensity in this version is awesome. I love seeing them all together and playing “True Believers” was great too!

I am lucky The Bouncing Souls re from Nj ( my state ) Dave Hause from Philly ( The Loved Ones ) and HWN were good friends often appering on the same tours together So i seen them a few times
HWM might be the greatest band this genre/whatever has had the privilege of "hosting".
Agree with the comments below. They make a lot of the more modern punkish bands look like The Backstreet Boys.
Dave Hause should be Chris Wollard’s fill in. Just look at the energy and excitement he brings with him every time he steps on stage. And although his voice isn’t anywhere near a match for Chris’s, Dave brings his own sound that really seems like it fits with the band
Chris Cresswell from The Flatliners has been the regular fill in, and I've seen them live 4 times since he started. Honestly, he's perfect. I love Dave Hause and The Loved Ones, but Cresswell is better.

Emo era algo muito pejorativo naquela época, mas olhando para trás, quase tudo que chamavam de emo em 2005 era som de qualidade.
@@AfonsoEGM na verdade 2005 o emo era muito underground ainda. Tinha bandas como Samiam, Hateen e outras mais screamo como funeral for a friend. La por 2006, e 2007 principalmente que o emo estourou e começaram a ficar famosas bandas com apelo mais pop como my chemichal romance, simple plan (q na real é punk pop mas taxavam de emo) pra deturpar o termo e tornalo pejorativo

One thing I've always loved about HWM - since getting into them back as a teen in 97 - I notice all of these punk/hardcore/post hardcore whatever the fuck bands nowadays with their skinny jeans and their flat ironed hair get ups and I just think wow, they are trying WAY too hard - then you see Chris Wollard looking like he just stumbled out of bed and Chuck Ragan not trying to look like anything but a regular ass dude and letting the amazing music do the talking for them - HWM FTW ^^^^
