I got inspired to play bass because of HWM and RATM. I believe I was first introduced to a Music Man bass because of Jason Black, playing their HWM song called Trademark - check this one and see how cool that sounds to someone starting to play bass. Later I realized Tim Commerford used it a lot with RATM as well. All this happened around 1999. In 2011 I managed to get myself my Sting Ray 4 with maple neck because of these guys and I've been playing it ever since. Heck, one day I might get myself a G&L Asat bass too!
