2014 Ford Escape 1.6l SE 2wd So, I just did an intake gasket replacement and while doing so I went ahead and did the timing belt, waterpump, timing tensioner, ilder pulley, spark plugs, ilder tensioner, serpentine belt and both CV axles. When oil leaks from gasket it got deep into plug well and the boots to the coils were oily. Everything is put back together and went I go to crank it up it cranks, turns over, but doesn't fire up all the way. I have a video posted. (I am thinking no fuel pressure or maybe need to purge air out of coolant system.) Video won't post... so kinda stuck lol.
That's something wrong with your purge valve canister. If you contact the dealership they'll replace it for you under recall. I have 2013 ford focus and it used to take a couple of minutes after putting gas in the tank for the engine to want to turn on
There's two. One in the the tank and the one on top of the engine is the high pressure fuel pump, usually goes out bcuz the spring gets stuck. Supposed to expand out at least 2 inch
I bought a focus 2012 titanium manual 2.0... mark the code p0087 high fuel pressure rail system too low... change the spark plugs change the fuel pump... new... but change the rail fuel regulator I bought it used in junker the fault persists when I go slowly, fine, but if I step on it hard to run, it doesn't respond...
I have a 2012 Ford focus that won't start I changed the whole front clip on it because if a accident note the air bags never went off and I assembled it back and now it won't start can you help me?
@@Masterofnon3 yea I did. I replaced the purge valve and it’s all resolved now. Pretty easy to do even for a beginner like me. It’s a Ford specific part if you want to replace it tho

Thank you so much. My 2015 Ford focus is do just what you said. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Great video. Could you make a video on how to relieve the pressure when working on the fuel pump or other fuel related items.
Do you have a video on how to replace the hand brake assembly on the 2012 Ford Focus?
But how do you diagnose the sensors?
Are these sensors the same part number?
are the two sensors the same part number ?
No top is very diferent to close to rail.
hello how is it I have a 2012 ford focus and I have changed the sensors and the pressure pump and it keeps turning off

Which sensor is the low and which sensor is the high? Is the one underneath the manifold the high?
The silver one that screw to the engine block is for HIGH pressure pump.
Thanks for sharing
I have a 2014 Ford focus everytime I fill up gas tank it has trouble turning on.Can you tell me what it can be? It only happens when I fill it up..

Evap lines had the same problem and replaced never happened again
Where is the the evap high pressure sensor located ?
Can you do a video of boost sensor code p2566 fault
2012 ford focus
is this the actual fuel pump or is there one in the gas tank

I had the same problem. Replace you low pressure sensor, located behind the fuel pump on the engine. Its connected to the fuel rail

Did you figure this out?
Anyone else get a p1450 code? Just got it on my 1.0 focus
@frederic mozart did you resolve the p1450?

Guys, guys, guys....
Glad this isn't a drinking game.

change everything except the sensor that you are changing
@@carlosgomez7831 did you get your problem solved ?
