David Bowie does Fame on TOTP2 (2002)

As part of the promo TOTP recording for 'Slow Burn' this bonus track made it's way to TOTP2 (or Top of the Pops for the oldies - for those who don't know). The series is now being repeated on UK channel 'Dave' - appropriately enough! DJ Steve Wright waffles over the intro and outro, as is his way.

Although I love Bowie and wouldn't knock the original but I love this version of Fame too, something about the different key and tempo that gets me.
