@@ChouRaiyuki yes you can pick in the menu what sounds you want but it also forces you to use the respective music now. I only liked using anniversary sound effects because they're for the most park an upgrade over classic, but I cant stand the anniversary music.
Would love it if they reenabled all theater mode functionality currently disabled on PC AND Xbox. Game DVR is fine and all, but it just doesn't quite have the flexibility of Theater mode clips, and while screenshots are now more easily doable nowadays, being able to share them through the file share just strikes me as more accessible than using a 3rd party site to view them. Plus, being able to save a film with which to take said screenshots would be a godsend to all those folks who made some incredible work back in the day.
That moding part of this video I think is actually the biggest thing here, it shows mods can work on Xbox sure maybe the PC has to make them and host them but I can still technically play mods in Halo MCC hopefully this hints to Mod support being a feature for Xbox users just like Fallout and Skyrim. It always confused me why they only support it when they show Xbox and Playstation can support mods. Anyway great vid as always
It's just... consoles are very limited. You can't do modding traditionally by dragging and dropping files and folders into one another like you can on PC. The devs have to actually make it possible to mod in-game for console users. The OS just doesn't support traditional modding.

But since MS removed the File Explorer UFO workaround which allowed you to modify certain games like Minecraft this is know longer possible unless they is another way of accessing the Fire Explorer.

Can't remember when they added it, and not many people seem to have noticed as far as I've seen. i've been looking for in game subs forever, becuase there are so many times where i just wouldn't know what characters were saying, or they would give instuctions when i'm at the other side of the arena. If the china version has the files, wouldn't it be possible to add the in-game subs files to the uncensored version of the game??
@@jerm70 What? China MCC (only game here with shrinking bodies) came like last year I think. At least in Xbox One era. Why not just apply the H4 disintegration effect to all of the games? The hardware can obviously handle it.
@@jerm70 None of these features were in the Xbox or 360 games. The Chinese MCC has shrinking corpses on all titles (a 343 edit) and the guy you were replying to was saying the should've just used the disintegration from Halo 4 for that instead. It'll all run on the XB1 so hardware shouldn't matter.
Hey General Heed I have a serious issue for Halo 2 on MCC that I think needs a lot of attention that nobody talks about. The grunt birthday party skull for Halo 2 still does not work other than make the H3 GBDP skull noise in H2 classic and the H2A GBDP skull animation/ sound is the same as in Halo 3 but the original Halo 2 GBDP plasma grenade explosion animation and sound are no where to be found. They said MCC is finished but this is a huge oversight and should be fixed immediately. If they dont fix this Halo 2 will lose that part of its original design and history forever. Please make a video about this issue to help get this fixed.
Its not that the acrophobia skull was added into the rest of the games games its just the skull works with H1-H3 including ODST because the skull is just a dev tool that bungie used across all 3 of those engines that's why that skull works flawless on those games as well. Also the Pegasus file was 343's attempt at censorship for the china version but it wasn't enough so the China version of MCC got handed off to a different, Chinese, company and they added much more censorship. Same logic with the screenshot fileshare thing, the china version of MCC is completely separate from the base MCC and 343 has no control over it and the Chinese company that does stopped supporting it years ago, servers are up but that's it.
Maybe open up Wireshark and trace down some of the different packets. I wonder if a program can be written which sends/receives communications/instructions to their Image server? That part of the system might be built so integral into the engine that maybe it'd be a ton of work to remove it, that would make sense as to why they'd just disable it. Could also be that MS says "you know what? let the hackers play with the toys however they want, we wont remove the backend but also we wont support the use of it." Maybe they've washed their hands of it....
I remember a long time ago when halo 2 was just out im doing another play through, i managed to glitch ride the prophets little seats i was absolutely going crazy so much hype when i done it ,i didn't have anyone to play halo with really do i done alot of exploring/mission replays
I'll post this again but if anyone wants to disable the blur cutscenes on consoles just do this: Hold down the A button when restarting the mission. Unfortunately this only works on 3 cutscenes, Gravemind, Delta Halo and The Arbiter, there is also still sound during these cutscenes.
I don't remember how, but back on the Xbox 360 me and my brother use to play reach a lot and we were able to get theater mode on split screen working. We could never figure out how we did it again.

Another feature with the flight skull on H3: If you time it right, you can kill enemies in one punch when flying towards them. Been beating the sentinals to a bloody pulp in the final mission's warthog run. Edit: Nvm. I guess the Sentinals were always 1 hit melee kill on Normal. My bad.

My friends and I are trying to do cross play modded games but it's not working. We're trying to play the Arkbound mod for Halo 3. When the console players join it will go through the loading screen and get to a black screen with a scoreboard that says "starting game" below it.
Video suggestion: halo 2 - If you grenade jump onto the scarab on metropolis before your supposed to be on it, do you think the pilots will be inside? And if so can you kill them and end the mission early?
I know I’m late,but me and my brother do that all the time,and there’s actually a certain script point to where it starts approaching the bridge you are meant to jump on to it from,all of them spawn inside. The pilots don’t spawn before hand either,it’s basically just an empty scarab until it hits that script

Still not sure how I did it or how it happened , but one time in campaign I was able to drive one of those shadow things with the ghost underneath it. It was called a shadow a d my brother on coop was able to run the turret. It was about as fast as a ghost and had boost like a ghost
So does this mean for at least Halo 4 when you mod in that revenant you can mod it in for Xbox people and then save the forge map? That would be interesting to see.

I use Xbox for MCC and I'm sad that they basically have mod support but don't actually use it. You can't enable anti-cheat and install mods which is stupid because you already have support from them, you can join a PC player making a modded custom game then when you join the game automatically installs all the stuff you need to run it. We have all the stuff you need to make mod support but we still don't get it.
.....so the polar opposite of this behavior would be: Remove this blank file from a vanilla chinese censored version and predict that it should add blood/bodies back in?

Actually it was introduced in Halo 5, with the Spartan abilities. However, the ability to hover permanently was introduced in Halo 3 this year.

If you put the skull that imparts more physics on in h2 of you throw a grenade then jump you can get out of bounds especially in outskirts

I think its the default visor - it is supposed to look bronze in game, but in MCC's armor customizer the color is off since its rendered in Unreal
