  • In this bonus episode, Jackie interviews Jeff Kadlic, a musician, songwriter, luthier, and audio engineer, about how he became a luthier. Jeff shares his journey from working at a rehearsal studio in New York City to starting his own repair work and making electronics upgrade kits for popular guitar models. He eventually started making his own guitars and has made around 40-50 guitars to date. Jeff also discusses the importance of finish work in guitar making and showcases one of his guitars, the Champtone Atomic. He shares the story of how he made a red Fender Telecaster style guitar that caught the attention of Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy ended up buying the guitar and using it on his late-night show.
