The gap is there to let air inside the chamber. Otherwise it creates a kind of vacuum inside. And the filter is just a pre-filter, it’s neither a class 1 device nor should it be used without venting outside (as with any laser!). I agree, you should not take it anywhere except secured spaces.
Totally agree. When doing these reviews, I do them the same way anyone without prior experience would. Open the box and follow the instructions. As noted in the review, there was little instructions about assembly, so I followed what I believe most people would follow. I don’t know many people who would remove a housing without definite direction to do so. That said, hope the review was helpful👍

You y axis is loose you must fix the rolls with the screws

Thanks for the review. Just a thought: it would have been a lot easyer to mount the laser and cable by removing 4 screws of the top cover 😁
