    I have the same pipes on my 21’ but in chrome. Once they get cooked in the volume increases a bit. Good ampunt of base in the exhaust tone. They look great and sound great!

    I have the same pipes. Nice exhaust note vs. the stock for sure, which sounds like you're driving a Honda. That said, there is something about the design of the Challenger when coupled with the percussive nature of the Rinehart Slip-Ons that drive the sound into my full-face helmet and scrambles my brains to the point of needing earplugs; 3/4 and half-helmets some say not as much an issue (probably because those riders have destroyed their hearing...). I say the design of the Challenger because when I first test drove the Challenger with the stock exhaust I noticed how quiet it was when standing next to it while running, but when riding, the exhaust note was much more "present" in my ears; that increased by a factor of 10 when the Rineharts were added.

      Dealer fitted Rhineharts to my 2024 Challenger Elite, the tone on tick over is a joy, but once on the move the bass resonates into my full face helmet which is one of the quietest on the market, even with ear plugs the exhaust tone rattles my brain like nothing I have ever heard or experienced before. I am going to have to change them back to the stock exhausts as the wife and I regularly do 200 miles in a dat when touring.

    This was very helpful. Thank you. Just curious. In hindsight, would you have taken off the heat shields to make inserting the new slip ons easier? Are the heat shield difficult to take off? I REALLY like the contrast of the dark slip ons paired with the chrome headers. Looks great!

      I don't think so no, the heat shields didn't really impact anything in regards to the install - the struggle was the actual exhaust pipes fitting together

    Do you have to do any tuning with the ECM or is it plug n' play?

    • @DAKKMoto

      No Tune yet just plug and play

      To clarify - a Tune is not needed for just slip ons. Obviously a Tune can help even a 100% stock bike but it isn't a necessity at this point until further mods like a performance Intake and/or full header back exhaust

    Just curious? Why not the chrome slip on with a chrome exhaust system.

      He got a deal on them he couldn't pass up, and he has connections to get the Chrome heat shields coated black to match so eventually it will be a full black exhaust setup

    Is it true once you change your pipe you have to tune up ?

      Don't need to but if you're gonna do pipes then do air intake as well. It is recommended to flash the system. Most people say they really noticed a difference.

    Like the look, hope you didn't pay to much or they offer a different baffle like TAB PERFORMANCE does with their zombie baffle. It's no where near loud enough. Remember they can't see you, you need to be heard brother!! Be safe!!

    Why is there metric hardware on a so called American motorcycle? And you Indian guys rag on Harley for parts made in other countries. Most hardware on Harley's are standard American sizes I believe.

    • @charlesscharfy6607
      @charlesscharfy6607 2 месяца назад

      Because they can design a motorcycle with which ever hardware they choose. Just because it has a metric thread does not mean that it is built in Europe. Built in the USA unlike the majority of your Harley. You should do some research and see how many Harley parts are built outside of the USA and how many final assembly plants are now outside of the USA.

    Are these exhaust too loud on long trips?

    • @richarddolman4448
      @richarddolman4448 Месяц назад

      Yes definitely too loud, please read my post. Ive had my 2024 Elite for two weeks and covered 500 miles stock pipes and 700 miles with Rhineharts, the noise level is unbearable with a full face helmet even with ear plugs. Better to drill the baffle in the standard pipes IMHO.
