He’s literally the most accurate white person I’ve ever heard explain facts about the Hmong culture. He’s super educated about the culture and small details about it. I like him
Wow, high five on your favorite Hmong food! You speak Hmong very well - the tones are all on point. Thank you for sharing this! It's always a good feeling to see others' knowledge of the history of Hmong.
This makes me so happy seeing someone share our history and unknown stuff my mom is one of the many babys that were straped on to my grandma’s back forever grateful 💗💗💗
This touches my heart. I was born in here in the US. My dad, uncles, aunts, and grandparent had to get away from Laos because they were being hunted by the communists. I remember what my grandpa and dad used to tell me about escaping the jungles of Laos. I can’t imagine what they had to do just to have freedom. That’s why they’re here now in the US so that their children and their children’s children could have a better life.
I'm late to the party, but as a 1st generation Hmong American born here in the states in the late 70s, much love n respect to this guy. I really didn't learn about my people's history till back in the late 90s as a young adult while attending continuity college. Wrote a thesis about the Hmong for my writing class. Since then, I still love to learn and to hear about the stories of my elders and my peoples. One love! 🤟
Omg, you are the best! Super on point. Literally, listening to you talk about Hmong makes me feel so much at home. Thank you! Much love from the a Hmong girl in the Hmong community side!

I never knew about the disownment of religion because 2 of my sisters are Christian and goes to church but they are still part of my family and my parents are okay with it. I’ve never known that.
Good job providing an overview starting from the Vietnam War. Correct, Hmong did not know of a Savior, but they always believed there’s a Creator of the heaven and Earth. Most if not all.
God is amazing. Once you know God you will know more of interesting people around the world how God put different people and speak different languages. But only God can brings friendships and make peace in this world. God is good all the time. All the time God is good. However, this young man is really serve God thus he may has to do a mission to the Hmong people. May God help you to learn more of Hmong languages, my friend.!
My dad was a orphan when he lost his parents crossing the mekong River during the war. It's sadness was very brutal yet he n his siblings made it to Thailand safe and came to the US later
Funny how someone not hmong speaks hmong better then most hmongs in the states. It's sad to see that someone not hmong is speaking up for the hmong people when all hmong do is fight each other. Its hard to believe that someone not of hmong background understand hmong better then hmong themselves. Shame on hmong
