REAL TALK: 1- You can always use Eye Of Gemini in specific situations. Replace that with Mystic or Everyman prototype. Replace one of the shield with Dash Attack or Supercharge of your choice and you are good to go. 2- Learn countering if you want to be better at tanking. Countering means immunity, immunity means you will last longer in there. 3- Take severe punishment's icon as a clock, cancel Rage crash using Chain when its 7 o' clock. Pop sheild until Severe punishment is out of cooldown. 4- Don't be afraid of taking Bulldozer soders and topping it up with Compound omega, more stats means more perks. Enjoy Rage Tanking. - iEddy
I would switch Ire to a healing supercharge like Pheromome Bloom, and put the artifact Eye of gemini in. Both healing you in case the boss hit you with the "shield ignore" skill, so you can right away heal yourself with the massive amount of health
Honestly i liked rage tanking but sometimes my controller wouldn’t register a action or i would get Interrupted and die from rage crash.. I changed to fire recently and i’ve fallen in love with its tanking. Being able to solo Dooms Day in FP dlc feels amazing lol
Rage is definitely my favourite Tanking power but like you said, even with a slightest lag, it turns into a disaster haha. Fire is absolutely FIRE!!! Works really well in newer elite raids =)

For crowd control situations, yes...vs a single target tho, the loadout in this video is more optimal I think. I believe he probably switched it out for the second shield.
You always get a choice of Dps role gear or Support role gear when you go to the episode vendor. In this case, tank gear. Just go to the highest episode you can access, talk to the vendor and buy the tank gear for tanking.
I came into this game late, i only have 186 skill points, dump them all into Health still? Is there a best way to accumulate a bunch more skill points?

Take this video as a guideline which you can keep as target to acheive. The loadout will remain the same, no matter what CR you are. But the grind for SP, leveling up same artifacts as shown in video, augments etc. will be something you need to work on slowly.

Take E-chain out and clip Severe with Remorseless. Extra 45% defense too

Why use Severe Punishment at all if you'll have to worry about the rage crash? Can it be replaced with another option?
That is the main Rage tanking mechanic. Without it, you won't survive.

Yes its still viable. No changes have been made in Rage powerset. You can use any weapon you want as long as you know the basic mechanics 😊

Umm.. First power in the loadout, Ragebringer, is AOE pull while third power, chain, is ST pull.
