As a fairly new player, I have to say that this is a great guide. It's hard to find guides that explain the game's roles in detail, and how powers and gear "work" with each role. Most "guides" are just detailed "builds", with no context, that mean nothing to a new player. Good job!

hahaha! I know what you mean. But if you go through my uploads, I have been using it for 6 years. It has always been my style because the helmet is just awesome. Few years back I switched to OP helm which drops from PZ but now I'm back to this, again. Guess great minds think alike ;)
I have a built similar to that but the only difference is I use the Grimm instead of transformation card. Which definitely puts out more damage but also to my bus as well with the other two artifacts because your main goal is to buff power or damage.

Hi! Bop Commlink basically applies 3 debuffs with one power. But it reduces the debuff time to 6 seconds. That means you will have to re-apply it every 6 seconds. It is great for battle troll but not recommended as battery or buff troll. There are better artifacts (as mentioned in the video) to level up. Also, to get the maximum advantage out of Bop Commlink, it needs to be at 200 rank. I wouldn't recommend it
Battle Troll's main purpose is to help with the damage while staying in troll role and debuffing the enemies. That's why we spec for damage innates first BUT if you have massive amount of skill points, get all the damage innates and then get troll innates too for awesome battle trolling ;)

Hey buddy! Yeah.. basic trolling = Defence debuff + Instant power heal + Heal debuff + Damage debuff + Group power heal/sheild Supercharge + Personal Sheild. This setup can be used with any troll power.
I haven't played in a long time and I don't know where to get good controller gear, the controller character is cr 38, I don't really know how to get the stat points or where to get any of these artifacts, is there a guide for them somewhere?

I would suggest you watch this beginner guide as it explains everything : ruclips.net/video/Ox5WvvZw1dI/видео.html Secondly, I would suggest that you stick to DPS until you have reached almost end-game content, meanwhile you can save Nth Metal and work on your controller Artifacts and Skill points. At the moment, you need around 450 skill points to max out all the innates for the required role. But on the side note, you can get controller gear from the DLC Vendors or Tempus Fuginaut in HOL depending on your CR. Good luck =)

Hi buddy! Yeah you can follow the load out in this video. The other videos are outdated, I will update the titles. Buff Trolls are very much in demand for endgame elite content. But if you don't run elite content, go for battery trolling.

Battle troll is the least required troll type in instances/group. Yes, focus on battery troll first and after you are maxed out, work your way up towards Buff trolling.
Hi! If you are not able to crowd control in raids or alerts, that means your Dominance is low. Get better gear, Artifacts, mods, augs, skill points.. Everything adds up and you will have enough stats to crowd control everything even in Elite plus raids. 😉
I’m 331 CR light dps and still struggling with my power loss on single target rotation mainly. I’m almost totally concinced that no one knows how to play cntrlr.
Haha I feel you. I am HL myself but HL is really power hungry when it comes down to clipping. Specially the hand clap, grasping hand spam. Just make sure you have power base mods. Fully specced in might and power, superpowered and then pray that you get a battery troll instead of battle/buff. 😂😂 Btw I went precision with HL and my life is better.

I love how ppl still call it buff OR battle troll , its pretty much the same, what else than dmg can you do after having procced Claw. Dumb how "Buff Trolls" sometimes/often just sit around ,proc Claw and Tetra and thats it, instead of also doing max dmg.
The difference is dps gear vs controller gear, which means while running claw your PoT will be enough to keep group's power bar alive. Also, as battle troll, you are there to do dmg while doing debuffs. Running claw or tetra as battle troll is optional. 😊
If i use rao, claw, and parasite does claw make parasite artifact useless? what would maximize the efficiency of given to my teammates between the two: scrap+sc, or parasite? i know claw prevents power heal.
Parasite will not be useless with claw. As Parasites gives power when you apply a controller debuff. However, scrap, claw and rao is the better option between the two.

Bro! Its just testing and testing. Everything, again and again. DC forums have basic guidance, sometimes devs even answer one or two questions. So that helps. But in the end its all about testing everything yourself. 😊

I dont care what kinda troll u are. Hit your freaking recharge (power heal) trolls now adays running around with a full bar of power whie healers and tanks have none. Give power and debuff are bare minimum
The quality of players have dropped drastically while the quantity has increased. When I pug my elite runs, you won't believe how many fail runs I have to do because of support roles not learning or knowing the basics. I teach them the best I can, ingame or via my videos but there's only much I can do 🤷🏻
Quantum is definitely the best troll power for new/old players. As far as art swapping is concerned, my videos are targeted towards beginners, art swapping comes under try-hard and elite category. Though I did mention in the video to mix and match according to the situation. =)
Most " buff" trolls have TERRIBLE power out. Imagine a tank saying: " I'm an add tank only" or a healer saying: " I only heal bosses" The buff troll build benefits the dps majorly, it does not help the tank and the healer do their roles more efficiently. I constantly see this in elites, the group has 0 power 😆 The passive power you auto give in troll role is usually not enough for a group ( unless the group is skilled and has high sp) You can't even insta power with the claw and most buff trolls are not running a group shield either. What a silly build. Seems to me buff trolls have forgotten the main jobs of a controller. Makes sense though, since about 90 percent of the game is dps, that they would be quite popular. 😉 Its ridiculous, I was in Dme with a " buff troll" Max augments, 450 sp, full elite gear from flashpoint, and the op back piece guy gave out less power than the healer did 😆 The entire raid people complained about power. Every troll should: give power, debuff, stun adds, pickups and group shield.

You give out 6 ticks from PoT to everybody in your group. If there are two trollers in group, the troller with highest vitalization will give out PoT.

I don't remember them by colour but Vit augments and yes, you are gonna spec into vit and if you have extra SP, you can put it in might&power. 😊
