- Thinking of eveyone who has been impacted by the hurricane. That was an extra bad storm.
Sam and Frodo remain elusive but I see the little paths they have made in and out of the bushes. All the cookies get eaten but they are not eating the puppy chow. They are getting a ton of food. Curious what will happen as winter comes. They will always have a bed and food.
Tulip had to take a quick Power Nap after foraging. 🥹

The scratching thingies were such a great idea! I grew up in New England and know nothing about beavers, which is shameful. Am very grateful to see these cuties up close and learn more about them. They are fascinating and adorable! 🦫

I would suggest using fencing wire on the scratch pads. Possibly metal clips. Tulip is smart she may still figure a way around them. 😂

Happiness is a freshly brushed baby beaver having a nap on her hooman...Broccoli doesn't elicit the sweet little eating noises the way sweet potatoes and nanners do though. She is adorable no matter what she's doing!

Acorn bread is really good, but people have to prepare the acorns carefully before they can eat them. Tulip is so lucky to eat them whole like that. If you've ever tasted a raw acorn, be prepared for a quite bitter experience.
