For all those that didn't get to watch 1987-1998 live, my sincere apologies. These two together is what dreams were made of. I'm glad RUclips is around and people upload this stuff. This is what we grew up on. Poetry in motion
Greatest duo and by far the best perimeter defense duo. They were magical to watch together- no matter the bumps in the road they will always be linked for greatness.
I've never seen two other players who knew exactly what the other's next step would be. It's obvious they had thousands of practice hours together. The synchronicity is unreal.
that's why they won six titles together. as simple as that. they just where unstoppable, they just where so perfect to each other. thank you Michael and Scott for all those glory Years. God bless you both for ever.
People talk out of both sides of their mouth when it comes to Scottie Pippin they call Scottie and Mike the greatest duo ever but call Mike the best player ever but say Scottie is top 50 and not the greatest small forward ever Scottie Pippin 6 rings yo
@@rayjames2149 Because he is the best player ever. You all act like the GOAT isn't allowed to play with another star. While everyone else that's considered in the conversation played with multiple stars.
Its more like, they are the best duo because they played the best and most spectacular basketball that has ever been played (which of course, it then lead to those championships)
Greatest duo in my eyes. Scotty an amazing facilitator , fast break threat , respectable three ball shooter, mind numbingly good defender (better than mj , don't worry mj was a great agressive defender) combine that with mj's half court scoring abillity, sociopath desire to win and aggresive defense , you have an insane cohesive duo.
Best duo ever!!!! This is when basketball was basketball. I love Golden State, but no comparison. I remember when Scottie dunked over Patrick Ewing in the playoffs. Not many players can do that. I think what I like best is they brought out the best in each other..... Scottie has and will always be my favorite player. Nothing to take away from Michael Jordan, I just love the way Scottie plays. DA BULLS 23 & 33. ♥️♥️
Ppl don't understand how strong and much stamina this two players have en the court the dominate the entire game en everything steals blocks rebounds turnovers assist defense all around no just score , that is what make them better team
by far the best duo in basketball when they played together on the bulls...and maybe the best trio with jordan/pippen/rodman in in their last three years
can anyone else s how fast their game was and without making many mistakes? This was it all through the 90's. They were like gazelles with a basketball and will steal your meal like a hyena and ruled like lions. lol
Watching the greatest dynamic duo ever, was like moving art. There will never be another Jordan/Pippen combo in our lifetime. I am so grateful I got to witness the greatest era of the NBA. Ty for the wonderful videos. Keep them coming!
This bulls team would defensively maul today's warriors and lebron can forget about it. So many intangibles that stat guys don't appreciate in this team but the running game is where this team would obliterate opposition offensively.
@Jah'leel X Game hasn't changed the way you think it has. Go study harder because you younging don't know shit about basketball. Talking about bigger, faster, stronger. While two white boys are kicking the shit out of the league night in and night out. It's called fundamentals something the American players lack these days.
I don't care about what anyone else says about today's modern stars. They just don't compare. Yeah there's been other good duo's before don't get me wrong. But Pippen & Jordan were the whole package. Both great defenders and both lethal offensive players & both had high basketball IQ. Nowadays it's all offense no defense. Mindlessly shoot 3's or go the the basket uncontested because there are no more traditional centers. It's a shame what it the game has become.
SLAND3R - Exactly. There is no more fundamental basketball in today's NBA. The rule changes and the new foul interpretations have created today's wide open, 3 port chucking conditions. Kids today actually think today's game and players are somehow better when the reality is they just play in much easier conditions.
SLAND3R I agree, absurd IQ defense/ offesnse wise...both close to 3 steals per game each, over 6 apg each, not to mention the ppg...today's NBA is a joke...soft as players no intensity or vigor...
There was no place like the old Chicago Stadium. The old place was a dump, complete with huge pillars blocking your view of the court. But the home court advantage was like nowhere else. That place was loud! The United Center can get loud, but it’s big and cavernous, and the expensive seats bring in fans who aren’t really into it. And if you’re up in the 300 level, the court seems like it’s a mile away
Two complete player 23 & 33 defending, steals, block, assist and finishing moves but a stat paddler named Westbrook put his name among top Triple Double achievers
@@RM-xk6iu Yeah, he's a firecracker on the court, hid teammates don't know what he's going to do on offense or defense. Bill Russell said it best: When asked who is the best player ever, he says, "You pick Bill Russell, and for only one reason, he will never distort your defense or your offense I played games in my peak, where I had 6 shots, but I could close down the whole front court. The way I play, my team wins."
The way they def and stack the ring is just way to energetic, if you add to those 2 rodman now you have 3 best defenders and best score best all araund and best rebounder.. imposible to lose that way 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A Chicagian myself, I had the opportunity to work at Chicago stadium as a teenager into my early twenties. To watch those two on defense and how quick they were was amazing. No duo ever played defense like that. They would beat you in your house the same way. I hate what Pippen is saying these days, because Mike had to take him under his wings for him to be that good. He played like Mike before Kobe. The two of them were feared all over the world. I'm glad I lived in a era were basketball reached it true heights and not so machanical as these monsters today.
It all starts will stellar defense, something this version of the NBA don't practice. BOTH ENDS of the floor, when your talking about who the best is. remember that.

If you watch the documentary every single guy has good things to say about Pippen, yet pippen didnt actually had too much talking time while the producers chose to focus on off court antics and contract problems. So Pippen just defended himself. But we all know Jordan could kick little puppies on RUclips and everyone would still love him... Pippen, not so much.
@@RM-xk6iu All of MJs controversies were present in the documentary as well. So that makes no sense. That makes it look like Pippen isn't adult enough to take responsibility for his behavior.
@@x-man9473 Come on. It is Jordan documentary. Yes, some of his comtroversies were shown, but plenty of time was dedicated to clean it up. Pippen didnt get that chance

So fuckin tenacious.....NBA lacks that now with the change to depend on the 3 ball....real men drive the lane.
Scottie sailing, MJ soaring.
