Part of The Shear Zone Channel. This is a visit to highly fractured Lewisian rocks adjacent to the Great Glen Fault along the shores of Scotland's Moray Firth.
The first time that I walked this stretch I was boggled by the rocks, they really are a stunning salmon pink. It was great to hear your explanation of an area that I know well. Thanks!

Yes - it's an interesting location - not that well-known. Other Great Glen outcrops (tidal too) further along the coast.
