Thanks so much for the video! I’m going to give it a try live in a low light stairwell with a Tula mic…knowing how to do the video edit will save me the time I need to give it a go!
Thanks so much. I appreciate this. Can’t wait to start my first music video and will definitely wear different outfits. I use Final Cut Pro and Logic. I have everything else I need. I’m excited.
Super cool! Not sure if I have something I want to record like this, but if I find something I can try it. My family loves the sheet music you've been providing. You rock!
A suggestions (I've made a bunch of these videos lately, due to social distancing): When you're looking for the starting point of each clip, drag it to the *right* of the master audio track (or mute the audio track altogether) and trim each clip to the very first frame that has any audio at all. If you were playing with the backing track in your ear each time (and your initial attacks are reasonably strong), this will line up the video clips perfectly. Then, put that group of video clips over the master audio track (or re-enable it) and find the first audible sound in the audio track to line up with the start of your videos. If you want some video before the first note is played, you can drag the left side of each video clip to the left, which will "pad" the video clip with video before the first note, but still have the first note occur at the same timeline frame. Here are the videos my team and I have put together so far using this (and other, similar techniques): ruclips.net/p/PLSNzEgYGlI6MRKkDSAGAu7kAzTj256_va
Thanks for it, in your videos it looks like it was shot without editing but with 4 clones XD! I didn't know about masking (i'm bad at video editing), i'll try it too!
You mean like color keying/green screen? I don’t see why it wouldn’t work if you kept the exposure/lighting consistent across the layers, but I’ve never tried it personally.
That is correct. In some of my videos I improvise and then practice the performance so I can line it up. However if you wanted a truly authentic performance, for the improv portion you’d want a set of headphones on and be recording in real time while you film.

Thanks for the tip! Like many, I'm learning as I go. Gives us something fun to do while we're all social distancing!

It's not too bad once you get the hang of it!
cool gizz paintings
Which apk is used there
Could you change the background of the video once you're finished doing this process

@@BandatHome Yeah!!!! Also can you put someone else's face on top of your footage to make it seem like it's other musicians playing
That falls out of my area of expertise!
if i wanted to improvise im guessing i would have to record sound and video at the same time?
