I knew I remembered bad ass dogs with cropped ears and docked tail when I was really young and was so confused when I got older and learned about dogs and could never find the ones I remembered. No, not boxers or dobermans, this was a bulldog type I remembered

Why does he have the chains up high?

Joule-Trix - It is a cleaner set up, instead of having them drag the chain around and clearing the ground. It also helps to protect their feet from the heavy chain, takes the weight of the chain off the dog's neck. Thank for asking, Good Guardian K9
