Personally I think a interview needs to be done with Larry Koura,John Lichthardt,Leatherneck,Scott Tobin. All of the above have so much knowledge when it comes to pure performance american bulldogs

Another good interview , not sure how old Jeff is but Im 53 and from the lower main BC and man If he would have seen the Boxer line my father had he would have loved them the look and stamina work ability , family companion they had it all , and as I mentioned before on other posts IF I saw a tall Bully back in the 70's - 80's I was like this got to be a x Boxer but they were out there real Bulldogs , I used to work at a chicken/turkey farm when I was 14 or so and a few friends we would work from 10pm to 3am or so in Cloverdale BC and weekends and thru the week and still go to school the next day , and the farmer had a few dogs one was a Bull Mastiff real nice dog , my father had opened his plumbing company one man operation in 1980/81 and he did pretty good and so he knew the farmers and the community , so that's how my dad got us kids this part time job in jr high school , so the farmer ended up getting a Boxer from my dad a pup and on these farms every so often you would drop a bird loading the trucks , and so the farm dogs would just annihilate the bird and these dogs were predator dogs but anyways this farmer got a Boxer from my dad and he was sooo impressed with the work this breed can do and the dog as a pup would respect the big Bull Mastiff sorta lol , but the Boxer would tease and run circles around that Mastiff and just make the Mastiff look slow and awkward , nonetheless the Mastiff bred well are a great dog also , Thanks again for the time and uploads

Imo and standards. They need to be mostly white. Mostly black or all black are not ABs. They have major out crossings to bring the color. What he is describing should be called "Hybrid-standard"

It's been interesting with the APBT and Bulldogs the blue or red nose and this and that I'm no expert on those breeds , BUT the day I see a colour on the Boxer other than brindle fawn or white variants or like merle comes in it's done the breed is over , or blue nose or red colour pink nose other than black on a Boxer nose anything other is when the breed is poor breeding with albino and going to be gone forever from unhealthy genes and breeding and being diminished enough today from poor weak unhealthy breeding when dogs get so popular imo , the true Boxer when you find a healthy line is one AAA Top Shelf # 1 breed p4p vs any breed , and when I say healthy line is not always some show line even though there are some real ones still being shown , Im talking a true working line game lineage the longevity and stamina and guarding and gameness dogs that are very rugged and will put everything down lay it all out on the line when it comes down vs anything , in my thumbnail you can see on my vids of my dads dogs , Hanna the bitch and her son Samurai Warrior he was a stud bred 3-4 times only in BC early mid 80's and about as perfect as a true Boxer would be and his mother look at the functioning muzzle and the tight eyes real game so much athletic talent and such beautiful amazing dogs they did it all perfection , my best friend as a kid they had Samurai's litter mate Shogun Assassin the dog in my profile image another real nice Boxer but he was never bred he has that wide flash like a Bulldog he was a light fawn with stripes at the time was odd , and they all were around each other intact with Hanna she was fixed but they were ok sure some quarrels between 2 males litter mates and the quicker lighter female but we were able to make it work and they knew they were brothers and respected each other and mostly someone around for sure in case but they were ok again around each other but for sure they would test each other if not doing something and without someone around that knows how to control or handle intact males of any breed and you have to make them know who the boss is and thats the owner , even a true APBT it can be done its not easy but you put the heat down and they know who the boss is , like IF a horse or cow was the job protection livestock and say a deer, moose , bear , coyote , boar or smaller vermin came around they would perform as the best team mates ever but yea its a bond and team work a close eye and experience is what it takes and having any 2 or more intact males together , IF you can't handle that then you stick with females and then again wait til the heat comes in right ?
