I’m a little late to the party on this video, but I’m a retired firefighter paramedic who had two spinal cord surgeries. One a cervical spine fusion level three and a level two lumbar surgery. Came through great and I have little pain but sometimes my back just locks for no reason. This man is a lifesaver! I totally believe in chiropractors. When I was first injured “regular”doctors kept telling me it wasn’t my neck,It wasn’t my back and both times a chiropractor diagnosed the problem. Keep on going! You are fantastic!

Thank you!!! My lower back has been locked all week. I was taking anti-inflammatory pills and sticking warm patches, walking slowly, hunched, afraid of feeling that paralysing shot of pain. I've had lower back problems on/off for about ten years, due to a lot of construction work in my younger days... Usually the chiropractor can fix it, but this morning I couldn't even get out of bed... The pain was too immense.... I followed this video and did all of the reps to the best of my ability....
My back is still sore, but now it is un-locked and the excrutiating pain is gone...!

I have to say thank you. Your channel really saved me, and is among my favourites. All of your stretches help me work through my worst pain days. In 1999 I was diagnosed with scoliosis. In 2008 I had double discectomy surgery on L4/L5, and L5/S1. Last year I developed an anterior rotation of the left ilium and was in the absolute worst nerve pain of my entire life when something was grabbing my sciatic nerve. It took months of physiotherapy and daily work to fix, and your videos really helped when nothing else could because Covid had everything shut down.

Our food is really our best medicine at this point. Watched 10+ people go 2 pain docs for years and everything just gets worse and weak. Not a winning battle. U actually end up being so sensitive to any pain u can't even get any momentum going. Stopped taking all of them after 12 years and I get stronger everyday 💪. Even if it's just a little. Feels good. The clean food helps alot 2 with mood and depression

Having bad left SI joint and L3-5 disc issues, i have struggled for over a decade to fight off depression. Being a very active guy, to being scared to do ANYTHING from fear of being near paralyzed anywhere/anytime causes me mental anxiety. I have stenosis and spondylosis adding to this, and at age 51, it leads me to believe I will be in a wheelchair before I am 65.
I try to eat healthy and not do any substances...i got this way from my job and working 60+ hours every week for 2 decades. It caught up with me. I was that young guy who thought 'it'll never happen too me'. Here I am.
Thanks for the content, and some of these stretches DO help alleviate that tightness and muscle spasm moments. I do chiro once a week now - versus 3 times a week. Appreciate all your hard efforts in making these videos. Cheers from Toronto Canada!

Thank you so much! A few times a year my back goes out. Yesterday morning the pain began right after my shower. I managed to go pick up an in-store order and barely made it to the car. Later on that night, I was useless. I was walking tailbone tucked in and to one side. Ibuprofen and a muscle relaxant didn’t work. It was a long night. I somehow managed to take a shower this morning. I used a patch on my lower back and was using a cold pack, 20 minutes on, 20 off. I did several of the stretches on this video and after a while I managed to walk slow, but straight without fear of falling. Luckily for me, my husband waits on me when this happens. Thank you for this content! It’s priceless.

Man I use to be really flexible and be able to almost do the splits and these past few years I’ve suffered low back pain. It’s been super stiff . I’m 22 and I would feel low back pain when trying to touch my toes. I did a few of these exercises and really focused tucking my tailbone like you said and man I was able to touch my toes no problem. I’d definitely going to try and do these daily. Thank you so much! You have no idea how relieved I am to know I won’t have to live with this back pain forever.

Excellent advice, with one suggested exercise (on another of these videos) that really sorts me out, especially in the morning. As Dr. Rowe advises, try them and all and find what works for you. Thanks!

I have a congenital issue where my nerves wrap around my spinal cord instead of down it. I have severe back pain that makes walking or standing troublesome. I'm a carpet installer, so working on my knees helps, but I can barely walk to my front door by the end of the day. Started doing your stretches today and am already feeling relief

In the very early hours of morning I have been using the Cobra to releive back compression/stiffness. I now look
forward to adding the Scorpion, the level of comfort that I can achieve allows me to sleep on peacefully.
I nominate Spinecare and Chiropractic as the RUclips channel of 2021,

Hi, thanks for sharing, these are three stretches i've never done before and found this is what's been missing in my stretching routine. The one on the chair i found very challenging as my right side is very tight due to being a mail man.

I really benefitted from this video and back released in just one try. Thank you!
If I may, in bhujangasana or cobra pose as you can it, the elbows stick close to the body and don't stick out like in this video. Also the idea is to not put all the weight on you hands to lift you up but to find the strength in your core and lumbar to lift and hold yourself up. Feet stay together in this pose. This is if we are calling this the cobra, if not this can be a great back release regardless.

The first time my legs got weak, I fell to the floor, and had to call the emergency room, they gave me a muscle relaxer shot and I was good.
The second time, I fell to the floor from low back stiffness and leg pain, I wasn’t able to Stand up but managed to roll on my stomach, and did those stretches on my stomach. I was instantly able to walk again.
I cant thank you enough, you saved me a trip to the ER. As someone who is 6 feet tall, slightly overweight, but benching 315 lbs and squatting 425 lbs, I thought I was a strong person.
I neglected my abs however for so many years, and didn’t have the best form on my deadlifts, now I am paying the price. I can’t wait to get my abs strong and be able to walk without pain!
