  • If you're considering buying custom dress shirts or pants, one phrase you hear a lot is "made-to-measure." And if you haven't tried it you may be wondering what all the fuss is about.
For those who aren't familiar, made-to-measure is sort of a sweet spot between off-the-rack and fully custom. You get many of the benefits of something being made to your actual measurements without the big price tag of something that's fully "bespoke."
In this video, I share 4 compelling reasons why you should at least TRY made-to-measure if you haven't already. Plus, I share my experience of reviewing a new made-to-measure company called Mill No. 8.
Big thanks to our sponsor Mill No. 8 for making this video possible and for supporting the channel.

Does mill no. 8 offer any stain proof/stain resistant fabrics? I work as a waiter while I'm in college and I HATE my white dress shirts. They're cheap because i worry about spending money on a shirt that might only last a single shift. I have a few moderately priced ones with great stain resistance, but they dont fit quite right. I also hate the collars and how much of my skin and undershirts show thru.
I've been looking into investing in a few bespokeshirts, but I still cant justify dropping $350+ on a shirt, even if I can find the perfect "stain proof" and "wrinkle resistant" fabric and amazing fit. Made to measure would be a more justifiable cost if I can find the right fabric.

Clicking on the mill no 8 link prompts a warning the site is suspect. Why is this?

Please check your playlists, they're a bit messed up, videos appear multiple times in the same playlist or one video is in too many playlists.
    Great channel though!

    What about casual shirts?

Hey Mihir, it looks like Mill No 8 does do made-to-measure casual shirts as well. I personally haven't tried them, but it looks like the Hyde Park and the Linen shirts are a little more for casual wear.
