Need to not have the boss charge toward the ramp. If you have tank spec type in /1 and /s or /y for people to not tag it and let you pull it to the back left corner before they tag it. Pull it to the back left corner and barring getting super unlucky with the charge for the 1 or 2 people that can’t read, you should get the gems. I was like 0/5 on events until I went into tank spec and then got gems in 2/3 tries

the way to do it is to pull the mob out of the cave to reset it, then you have to wait until the timer starts again, then get someone with a pet to pull the boss out of the cave while the timer is still going and then kill it, that'll give you the drop 100% of the time.
